The Book and the feast (3)

The other guests that were invited were also amazed on how Artirian showed his badge that he was acknowledged by the scout leader Mondragon and same with the liking of commissioned officers that were in the feast at that time. Artirian would be showing the Mondragon badge to signify that he was recognised by one of the top clans in the scout guild.

The other commissioned officers was a bit jealous of how a teenage kid would be able to have that kind of experience. Some were amazed but some looked at it as a boasting for a kid to show such talent and some almost didn't believe or maybe saying Artirian only made something to make him more talented.

The feast was successful and all the greetings were acknowledged and Artirian eyes would see the faction base on the current idles of the two Aide de camp of the General; the two sides were the Left Aide de camp officer and the Right Aide de camp officer . The Right Aide de officer camp focused on aggressive tactics and powerful prowess on the battlefield while the Left Aide de camp officer would focus on the strategy and tactics of the battle rather than full force attack. Which can end up in a most gruesome way that will happen for an army.

The way on how the two Aide de camp officers will balance their strategy is because of General Conrad Thornwind who was able to be the intermediary of the both Aide de camp officers. In such cases there are battles that really need to have a different kind of attack with gruesome tactics with the mix of prowess and some are needed to use tactics based on strategy and by the books and not by prowess.

That is why The general has two great Aide de camp officers by his side and with their closeness to each other the best way to be able to grant such an amazing standard to win a type of battle. The feast was done and Artirian would be getting off from his seat but as soon as he would be walking out of the makeshift tent, he was blocked by the Left Aide de camp officer and said that the General wished his presence in the General tent.

Artirian would first look around and replied "Am I that worthy to be eligible to enter the General tent" Artirian would have an expression of slight nervousness because of the ongoing talk between him and the Aide de camp officer.

The Aide de camp officer would sense the tense being built up and he would tap Artirian at the side of his shoulder and give a half smile. "For me Yes you are not eligible but from the General eyes you are eligible I know the eyes of the General are different and from what I have been in his side. His eyes didn't fail even at least once in my life."

Artirian nodded and would follow the Aide de camp officer towards the General tent. While we are walking I would notice that the General tent was in the middle of the out post that was surrounded by several big tents where mostly those are the strategy table tent and some necessities for officers.

While Artirian and the Aide de camp were walking the Aide de camp would look At Artirian and would give a straight face and said. "I have known the General for a quite long time now and I feel that the General needs a good follower ahead of him and a second like him so me and the other Aide de camp would be able to rest the General is too old for this kind of war and it is time to make him rest in his life." the Aide de camp officer said with a gloomy kind of aura as he still kept his serious face.

Artirian would reply with a gentle smirk and said "if I were to be one of the candidates to change the general position will you support me. " The Aide de camp would be little bit startled but he already expected that kind of question form Artirian and he replied with a straight face and said "No, you are to young passed the Divine Military Academy and find me kid and I'll tell you what I know to find someone like me in the future".

Artirian gave a small smirk and soft laugh before continuing walking as they would both reach the tent as the other Aide de camp was waiting. The other Aide de camp would say with a boasting type of tone. "Why are you two, so slow to walk towards this place?" The Aide de camp that was with Artirian replied with a narrow look and the other Aide de camp would sway the tent door and said "Enter kid the general has been waiting for you." Artirian would walk quickly as he doesn't want to have an eye to eye contact with the Aide de camp.

The inside of the General tent was well organised Artirian would see the maps and strategic documents in a well organized manner. Artirian would be really fathom on how the General was able to do well in his young days. The books have been placed according to their numbers and the inside was pretty comfortable to the eyes, it was not too boasting nor it was not too extravagant as a General tent.

When Artirian entered the tent he saw the General reading something. When he noticed Artirian entered he closed the book and stood up. Artirian would give a snappy salute to the General. Then the two Aide de camp would also enter after a bit of a quarrel outside.The Artirian would put down his salute when he was saluted back Artirian was a bit curious so he asked the General on why he was sent here all of a sudden.

The General replied with a serious face as his facial expression does not give too much emotion like a straight forward face of an officer who is looking at his men. "Well you see, Artirian I was wondering if you will enter the Divine Empire Military Academy and as well mind if you help my granddaughter Rhea".

Artirian would give a nod "General I never met your grand daughter yet maybe she would get mad if you tell her that I must help her in the Divine Empire Military Academy." The General replied calmly while taking a sip of his tea, "You know young man in the Academy there are candidates whom are not really dedicated for such leadership like what I am right now" Artirian would get it a little but still confused on how will his knowledge can help the General granddaughter in the military Academy.

Artirian POV

I am as knowledgeable as I am as an observant person if I tend with this matter it can get better or it can get worse.Helping the General will get my opinion highers as I can get more people around me that I can lean on and there would also be some dangerous people who will also trigger what will happen and the intrigue that will surround me.But the offer still stands that helping her grand daughter would mean something for the General himself.

I replied with an ardent tone of voice "Yes General, As I pleased to help and glad to give pointers to your granddaughter. The General would give a half of a smile before drinking his cup of tea and then he would hand the book he was reading earlier. And said "take this Artirian I know you may use this well enough to your future to learn and to grasp what is beneath the one who rule".

Artirian would gladly accept the book that was being given to him by the General he would casually walk towards the table that the General was seated across. He then grabbed the book. Artirian treated that kind of recognition that the General himself has favored him to give a sample book about the strategy and tactics.

That has been kept by him in his journey and from what the General said He had finished what had been thought there . The title of the book was "Beneath to the one who rule" when Artirian looked at it, It was giving a soft vibe of feeling for Artirian. It was kinda different from other military strategy covers that Artrian have seen, as it has a star on the upper right corner and the sword that was crossed on the Upper left.
