After that, the voice left me and I was left alone with my pain once again, I didn't know how long it lasted but by the time it ended, I felt weird not to want to rip my skin off. That pain was replaced by another as my brain felt like it was expanding to twice its normal size, while I knew I had lived as a human once most of the detail are all fuzzy and unclear but as my migraine faded away I could suddenly remember what my past life was.
I was born into an extremely wealthy family so every I ever needed was handed to me on a silver platter, I spent most of my days sitting on a couch watching and reading anime manga and web novels. Frowning I went to sign on the line before my hand stalled, my name what was it while I could use my human name I felt repulsed to connect myself with... well myself. I need a new name something that reflects my personality, then it stuck me my hand resumed as in flowing script I wrote out my name Piku.
The window closed and suddenly my world turned black, after sometime later I awoke from my sleep. Standing up I felt no difference what so ever, suspicious that nothing had happened I opened my status and grinned when everything was right.

So far my stats looked pretty good since I hadn't started my training yet, grinning I looked over my new body. I looked like a seven-foot-tall human with lean with muscles, my skin was a tanned brown if not for my other features I could be identified as a handsome youth. The gills on the side of my neck, however, stopped any thought of me being human my canines were also pointed ready to tear through flesh. I also stared at the bright red strands of hair floating through the water.
My other feature pointing to me being something other than human was the long tail it was covered in the same carapace I used to have but it was much more flexible as I could feel I could extend my tail to nearly seven feet. My fifth appendage ended in a deadly looking harpoon-like stinger.
Pushing off the ground I shot through the stone of my cave and through the air like a bullet before coming to a stop at the surface.
Looking around I saw nothing but clear ocean, shrugging I started to swim towards the north I knew it was only a matter of time before I reached an island. If I was back on earth I could easily be an Olympic swimmer, I was going at a constant speed of forty miles per hour and it barley drained my energy.
It was only after my second-day swimming that something other than water entered my view, at first I thought I had imagined it but swimming closer it was a tattered piece of paper. I couldn't believe my luck it was a map to the entire world with a large x marked in the middle of the ocean as my eyes roamed over the various island more and more names started to summon memories as my time as a human. Syrup Village, Ice Island, Cresent Moon I was in the world of One Piece.
