Duan Chen showed an aggrieved expression before closing his eyes and turning his head, obviously giving up and not bothering to answer Qing Tian's questions.

However, Duan Lanying had unexpectedly spoken up.

Her face was serious, her tone was firm and her posture was straight.

"No! I want to live a glorious life filled with happiness!"

Duan Lanying told Qing Tian of her aspirations as she gazed into his eyes and refused to look away no matter how embarrassing it may be.

Qing Tian smiled and nodded to Duan Lanying, "Good. I will now be training you personally until we arrive at Glory Shelter."

Duan Lanying smiled and jumped around happily, not noticing the smile on Qing Tian's face vanishing as he glared at Duan Chen.

"Now, I will hope that you find a way to pay me for my work by the time we arrive at Glory Shelter," said Qing Tian with a frown as he looked at Duan Chen.

"Ah… haha…" Duan Chen began to nervously laugh as he looked away. "Would… would you like a mutant land Mount?"

"A land Mount?"

Qing Tian tian thought about it for a while before nodding. He smiled and outstretched his hand, "I'll take it now if you don't mind."

"Ri-right…" Duan Chen passed on to Qing Tian the mutant Mount before sighing and turning to his sister with a wry smile.

"Alright then, let's get going then," said Qing Tian as he gestured for the two to follow him.

"Should we ride our mounts?" asked Duan Lanying as she glanced around the area.

Qing Tian thought about it for a while before sighing, "Alright, let's do it."

'It'll save time, but I might not get as many spoils,' thought Qing Tian as he summoned the mutant beast mount he had just received.

A red shiny shadow flew out of Qing Tian's sea of Consciousness and landed on the floor. Instantly transforming into a large animal, with the size of a large hippo, a panther with red fur as shiny and resplendent as a ruby came out.

'Nice,' thought Qing Tian as he got on it.

The Duan siblings also rode on their Mutant mounts, a horse with tusks and a large three-eyed dog.

Nodding, Qing Tian continued on forward, glad he wasn't given one of those ugly mounts.

'I finally filled my ordinary and primitive Geno points,' thought Qing Tian as he finished eating a 3 feet tall winged rabbit.

Throughout the past 8 days, Qing Tian had killed many ordinary and primitive creatures, earning their beast souls every now and then. However, these creatures were big and their essence was spread all throughout their body.

Whenever Qing Tian would get a beast soul, he would give it to Duan Chen. He didn't have any need for them, so he just handed them to Duan Chen so that he can sell them later.

Qing Tian didn't really care what Duan Chen would do with the beast souls, he just didn't wish to carry around such useless Beast souls.

Turning to Duan Lanying who was sitting next to him, Qing Tian asked her, "You guys must have a map that leads you through all these safe spots, am I right?"

Duan Lanying was shocked by Qing Tian's words and began to nervously laugh as she looked away from Qing Tian. She was shocked that Qing Tian was even to find that out.

Qing Tian could feel Duan Lanying was getting nervous as she tried moving away.

Shaking his head with a light smile, Qing Tian continued, "I don't care about the map, we can go through the parts that let us run into Mutant creatures. I'm confident at being able to defeat them and protect you."

"Really?" Duan Lanying blushed at Qing Tian's words and turned away.

Qing Tian smiled and kept quiet.

In these types of moments, the best answer was to keep quiet and smile. Saying anything more will most likely ruin the moment or put you in an awkward relationship.

'I need to get some Mutant meat to fill up my Geno points,' thought Qing Tian. 'If we're lucky enough, we might even run into a Sacred-Blood creature.'

Qing Tian wouldn't have any trouble with a Sacred-Blood creature at this level anymore. With his sword skills coupled with his fitness of 15, Qing Tian could defeat the strongest Sacred-Blood creature.

The strongest Sacred-Blood creature, before it is considered a Super creature, has a fitness of 25. Still in Qing Tian's range of being able to defeat it if his Ancestor Swordsmanship is played with his fitness of 15.

He might have a bit of trouble keeping up with speed or be in danger if any of the beasts hits land on him, but other than that, it's tougher body still wouldn't survive through his blade.

Qing Tian's base fitness was at 7.8, literally reaching the level of the strongest Mutant creature and the weakest Sacred-Blood creature.

With his passive strength increase, Qing Tian reached 15.6. Easily reaching the average strength of the Sacred-Blood creatures.

The only way Qing Tian could possibly lose to a Sacred-Blood creature, was if it caught him in a sneak attack. Something which should be impossible with his inhuman senses and his Minute Subtlety.

"We'll start seeing more Mutant creatures tomorrow… I'll stay close to you," said Duan Lanying, the last part coming out as a whisper.

Qing Tian chuckled, "Count on me. I'll make sure to protect you to the best of my ability."

After that, Qing Tian finished eating the primitive meat in his hands and began to think about stuff he needs to check in the future.

For instance, the life essences.

'Why was Han Sen able to easily eat them in the first sanctuary whilst no one else could? Was the Golden Growler's Life Essence special? Or was it the Golden Growler itself special? After all, the Golden Growler was special, even as it became a beast soul. There was also about what happened to it's physical body, it was eaten by a Sacred-Blood pet and it became a Super pet and it could continue evolving... '

There was just too many mysteries, and Qing Tian was going to try and solve them.

'Before finding the mother Golden Growler and taking the Life Essence when she gives it up for her baby Golden Growler, I need to kill another Super creature and take it's life essence,' thought Qing Tian as he looked at the Super beast soul in his Sea of Consciousness. (A/N: For those who have read Super Gene, you're probably wondering why I'm saying Sea of Consciousness instead of Sea Soul.

The reason was that Qing Tian had merged his soul with his body, and he merged those two to his mind, and his spirit. So whether it be his Spirit Sea of his Sea of Consciousness or Sea of Soul, they were all one place. So I just decided to call it Sea of Consciousness.)

'There's also the fact that the Golden Growler Han Sen killed must have been a 3rd Gen Super Creature, one born naturally instead of created.'

There were differences between Super Creatures, ones that need to be known.

First Generation Super Creatures are created by the sanctuary, born without parents and in things called nests.

The number of creatures in God's Sanctuary was almost unlimited. In an area, even if all the creatures were killed, new creatures would appear before long.

Humans had done extensive research on this and concluded that most creatures did not come from their own reproduction, but somewhere humans called "nest."

These nests were usually hidden tens of thousands of feet underground. Once in a while, a large number of creatures would be born from the nest.

Humans were still not sure how the creatures arrived at different locations in God's Sanctuary. In a random expedition, some people found a nest that was exposed on the ground for some reason. After some exploration, they found that in each nest, there would be an egg. If one were to break that egg, one would get a beast soul for sure.

The egg itself was not dangerous, but normally speaking, there would be many creatures living in the nest, which made it difficult to go all the way into the nest and break the egg.

However, if the egg was left untouched, Super creatures would be born from these eggs. Which is why the creatures that appear inside not only appear just to repopulate their extinct species and the sanctuaries, but also to protect the Super creatures being born here.

But the Alliance didn't know any of this.

If a scavenger were lucky, there might be only ordinary and primitive creatures in a nest. However, if there were sacred-blood creatures in a nest, one would have to be prepared for a bloodbath.

For those who were able to kill a sacred-blood creature, it was rather a good thing, since they could have extra gains.

The nests rarely appeared on the surface, so only a few people had seen them. A nest on the surface had one significant feature—always located in a type of terrain called the "life lotus."

The life lotus was formed by layered mountains, and the entrance to the nest was always located in the center of the lotus. Creatures in the nest would not go out directly from the entrance. Until today, no one knew how the creatures in the nest ended up all over God's Sanctuary.

However, Qing Tian did know.

It was the Super creatures and it took an extremely long time for the creatures to cover the entirety of the sanctuaries.

Like the pilgrimage of ancient humans on Earth. The Super creatures had made exits for many of these creatures and managed to lead the other creatures outside. And naturally, they slowly separated as some creatures hunted each other down as they began to learn of the ability to reproduce.

90% of creatures currently were still in the process of learning to reproduce whilst the remaining 10% have been doing it for centuries.

A large chunk of Super creatures are part of the 90%. Those who were born from nests are First Generation Super creatures. Their energy is in disarray and their strength isn't much.

These beasts only live to walk around and explore the world. They don't attack others and they only have the primal instinct to own a territory and protect it from other Super creatures.

But over time, all Super creatures begin to reproduce asexually and produce offspring that are more natural than their previous parents who were 'created in labs'.

At this point, most first gen Super creatures begin to die because their unstable bodies couldn't handle the burden of giving birth. First gen Super creatures are innately weak since their bodies are unstable, they were just products of experimentation gone correct.

Once the First Gen give birth, their bodies go weak and most are unlucky and die. However, when they die, their Life Essence drops and their baby eats it, making them more whole and natural.

Life Essence is something only a Super creature can produce within it's body. Something tied closely to their strength and strength of their energy which condenses inside their body. Their strong lifeforce.

Finally, Second Gen Super creatures come into play in these sanctuaries.

They're stronger and smarter, even their bodies are more stable than the first gen. A child Second Gen Super creature is so strong that it can contest almost evenly with the strongest First Gen Super creature.

The energy flow of a Second Gen Super creature is also clear.

Their bodies are natural and they are able to give birth with less difficulty than a First Gen Super creature, but it still wasn't enough.

Like Golden Growler's mother, it was a Second Gen and it wasn't strong enough to properly give birth. As it was dying, it gave up it's Life Essence willingly and died, however it's body didn't disappear because it was more stable.

Second Gen Super creatures also gain an ability, unlike their First Gen parents. This ability would come in different forms, like being able to summon an element or being able to change size, hypnotization, or even being able to change the body into an element.

Finally, 3rd Gen appears and they are just balanced and only a bit stronger than Second Gen Super creatures, their powers being a bit stronger and more different than their parents

Maybe this is what had affected Golden Growler's beast soul as a mount as it 'retained' it's abiltiy to change size. It's ability to change size was strengthened and before it could manifest another ability, it was killed by Han Sen and it became a beast soul. Leaving only it's size changing ability.

There was also the Silver Fox that accompanied Han Sen is an example of it's powers being different from it's parents, despite the fact that it's parents never show up. The Silver Fox was able to summon lightning, but it also had another ability attached to it that it could use at will, the ability to heal, something which had more or less appeared right after it's birth.

Birthing the idea that maybe for Third Gen Super creatures, their second abilities all manifest differently, whether it be mentality, age, their will, or even desires.

There isn't much known about 3rd Gen and what separates them from the First and Second Gen besides their strength and body stability, and the fact their Life Essences are also more concentrated a Second Gen.

If Qing Tian were to say, First Gen Life Essences only give 0-3 points, Second Gen would be 4-7, and Third Gen would be 8-10 Super Geno Points.

However this way of obtaining Super Geno Points was through replicating the Super creatures Energy Flow. Qing Tian wasn't sure about what would happen if the same situation Han Sen went through in the First God's Sanctuary would happen in the other sanctuaries.

If he was able to just lick the life essences and eat them, would one receive more Super points that way?

'Hmm… there's a lot of tests left to do,' thought Qing Tian as he thought about the future.

'Before going to the point when the mother Golden Growler gives birth, I need to get the Sacred-Blood Angel that follows Han Sen in the future and a Sacred-Blood Pet beast soul.'

Qing Tian wanted the Sacred-Blood Angel to eat the Super mother Golden Growler's flesh when it dies. He wanted to see if she could still evolve even if she's not a beast soul.

If not, then Qing Tian would need to go about the hard way and personally help raise her strength. Then, the other Sacred-Blood pet beast soul will help Qing Tian figure out whether it was the Sacred-Blood Angel that was special or it was a special effect of a Sacred-Blood beast eating the flesh of a Super creature that allows them to evolve further.

Qing Tian had already figured out that the Golden Growler wasn't much of anything special when he figured out the thing about Bloodline purity being the basis of strength and potential. As in, there wasn't anything about the Golden Growler's flesh that made the Sacred-Blood beast soul Angel become a Super creature.
