After taking a minute to recompose, Eldrian finally stood up and told Ceph that they should try again. Nervous, Ceph made his way so that they would have 15 meters separating them.
"Are you sure?" Cephaphyr asked, afraid of injuring Eldrian again.
"Yes," Eldrian smiled in reply as he quickly threw on his chestplate at the very least. This time he planned to rather focus on dodging if he could. So when he shouted start he watched Cephaphyr carefully.
After a few seconds, Ceph asked, "Aren't you going to summon a shield again?"
"No," Eldrian replied while sending a fireball at the little elf. It felt wrong just doing so, but he realized he wouldn't be able to do anything to him even if he went all out. If somehow Ceph was unable to react, then his parent would naturally interfere.
