Chapter 20

The two finally part from each other, but had taken their seats on the ground with their faces looking out of the clock tower's glass. The view was remarkable and being able to share it in such close proximity and solace with each other was even more beautiful. 

"Did you ever think we'd get here?" Vukan asked out of the blue while he brushed his hair backwards as it meddled with his face and sight. 

"Well, I wasn't particularly sure I would be alive by now to witness anything, but nope", Oliver answered. "it scares me at times to think about it, but I have come to learn to live with everything". 

The two sat in stoic silence for a while, almost as though they didn't want anything to disrupt the moment for either of them. They listened to each others heartbeat which synced perfectly in a rythym. 

"If you were asked to mention what you like the most on me, what would it be?" Vukan asked out of the blue again.
