"Have you ever come across a suicidal vampire?''

I furrow my brows in confusion "what do you mean?'' I ask Alanis. When I was turned, I didn't even get the chance to live as a vampire but I did live with vampires my whole life, so maybe that is why he is asking me this.

"Like have you ever come across a vampire that didn't want to live anymore?" Alanis and I have gotten closer since I came to their community. We have this relationship where we check up on each other and even though I haven't seen him in a while. It seems like the bond is still there.

"Wow, is suicidal even the term? I mean, being a vampire means you want immortality. It is not just something that happens… right?'' I ask him.

He sighs into the phone "You know at some point in my life, I didn't actually see the point in living. I get that people have stuff they are going through that makes this life not worth living.''
