Chapter 31:

"ROARRRRR!"

"!!!" Xiao Ren and Xiao Xing er stopped running when they heard the angry roar five hundred meters away in their front "F*CK! That's a... Rank 2 magic beast" Xiao Ren cursed as he saw the Twin tailed Lion beast, the Twin tailed Lion beast is about a 2.5 meters tall and 3 meters in length with two tail on it's back.

When Xiao Ren and Xiao Xing er stopped running because of the roar, the wild beast that were following them also stop and start trembling. After Xiao Ren, Xiao Xing er and the wild beast that were following the two stopped, the twin tailed lion beast saw them and gave them another roar before running towards them.

"Sister Xing er, Let's run!" Xiao Ren said before he take Xiao Xing er's hand before running as the twin tailed lion saw them and the other beast as they all unintentionally enter the twin tailed lion beast territory.

Xiao Ren and Xiao Xing er run, Xiao Ren used his Tempest Lightning Movement Technique while pulling Xiao Xing er's hand, while running Xiao Ren turn his head back and saw that the twin tailed lion beast following them and it was slowly catching up to them "Sister Xing er continue running" Xiao Ren said before pulling Xiao Xing er's hand and push her to his front.

"!!!" Xiao Xing er was startled when she was push further by Xiao Ren "Xiao Ren what are you doing?" Xiao Xing er shout at Xiao Ren who stopped running.

"Sister Xing er go! I will buy time for you to escape... don't worry about me" Xiao Ren shout but his face has a smile before turning around and head towards the right side "Here you f*cking beast! Raging Tiger Fist!!!" Xiao Ren shout and punch his fist towards the tree trunk that got thrown towards the Twin tailed Lion beast. The twin tailed lion beast got hit by some parts of the tree that made it angry and it focused to Xiao Ren as it saw that Xiao Ren was the one who did it.

"No!!! You idiot" Xiao Xing er shout and turned around and was about to head towards Xiao Ren but stopped when she heard his voice.

"XIAO XING ER PLEASE RUN!!! DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME I WILL FIND AWAY TO ESCAPE" Xiao Ren shout and this time he called her full name instead of 'Sister Xing er'.

Xiao Xing er stopped when she heard his voice and also saw that Xiao Ren was really serious about his decision that he even called her full name, "You little brat... you must escape or else I will hate you" Xiao Xing er said before turning around and continue running, but when she turned around her eyes let out tears that were proof that she was crying as she run.

Xiao Ren let out a smile as he saw that Xiao Xing er listen to him and run. "Sigh, well I am your opponent" Xiao Ren sighed in relief that Xiao Xing er will be safe, before he said seriously while his face was grim.

The Twin Tailed Lion beast then charge at Xiao Ren and jump at him with it's mouth wide open and you can see it's sharp teeth glistening with red blood. When Xiao Ren saw the Twin tailed Lion beast attack him, he didn't even think to try and block it as he knows that it can pummeled him to death as it's physical strength was it's strongest ability as even the amphibian frog they face earlier is also a little bit stronger than him in terms of power but it was more weaker than the beast he face now especially it was rank 2 magic beast.

Xiao Ren dodge while using his movement technique but even though he managed to dodge he was still caught up in the force that the twin tailed lion beast create after it's attack.

After Xiao Ren dodge the Twin tailed Lion beast, He continued to use his movement technique to make a distance to the twin tailed lion beast while still holding his Black Myrtle Sword in his right hand "a little bit more time and Sister Xing er will really be safe" Xiao Ren thought as he was trying to buy more time to let Xiao Xing er escape further so that the twin tailed lion beast won't be able to follow her anymore.

Xiao Ren continued to dodge the attack of the twin tailed lion beast for a few more times but he was also getting a lot of wound as the claws managed to hit him slightly when he was even slightly late in dodging. The twin tailed lion beast got more angry and roared at Xiao Ren as the beast can't completely hit him as Xiao Ren continuously used his Tempest Lightning Movement Technique for about 5 minutes to dodge the twin tailed lion beast attack.

"haaa haaa I guess my training to continuously used it paid off haha" Xiao Ren murmured to himself before he let out a laugh while panting heavily, Xiao Ren's leg's also started to hurt from continuously using the tempest lightning movement technique and his face was pale as he was losing a lot of blood because of his wound.

Xiao Ren saw that the twin tailed lion beast attack him once more, and when he was about to dodge his leg gives up and he can't move it so Xiao Ren use his sword to move his body to the right to dodge and the claw of the twin tailed lion beast didn't hit him but the beast suddenly swung it's tail to him.

Seeing this Xiao Ren raised his sword and slash it to block the tail.

"Clang... Boom!!!"

A metallic sounds rang out followed by Xiao Ren's body colliding to three consecutive tree smashing it all before his body stop on the ground "ughh, cough cough" Xiao Ren grunted before coughing two mouthful of blood.

"Ahhh so this is how I'm going to die haha 'cough'" Xiao Ren said with a laugh but suddenly cough another mouthful of blood before his sight started to blur "I still didn't do my promise to myself and Xiao Xi and the others... I'm sorry father, mother, Xiao Xi and Sister Xing er I didn't fulfill my promise" after saying this Xiao Ren then lose consciousness.

After Xiao Ren lose his consciousness, the twin tailed lion beast walked towards him slowly. after a while the twin tailed lion beast got closed to Xiao Ren and was ready to eat him when a snort suddenly rang out "humph"

After the snort sounded, the mark on Xiao Ren's palm shone before the red haired woman ahow herself in her illusory form before glaring at the twin tailed lion beast and suddenly a multiple color flame appeared around her body.

"You little puppy... go back to where you've come from" the red haired woman said while glaring at the twin tailed lion beast. when the twin tailed lion beast saw the red haired woman it started to feel danger as it's instinct seem to say it will die if it anger the woman so even though it didn't understand the words of the red haired woman it still run away and forgot about it's prey because it got scared by the woman.

When the twin tailed lion beast leave, the red haired woman turned around and look at Xiao Ren before she sighed " 'sigh' you are lucky kid and I will acknowledge you as the owner of the Primordial Yang Stone" the woman said before pointing her finger at Xiao Ren "this is the last strength of the energy I absorb so I won't be able to help you next time as I will once again slumber till you manage to find me a yang energy source"

After saying this a red light come out from her finger and her illusory body disappear. The red light that come out from the woman's finger entered Xiao Ren's body and it started to hill his wounds.

While Xiao Ren's wound started to heal because of the red light. Xiao Xing er run continuously for 5 minutes and felt her heart twisting as she thought 'what if Xiao Ren dies?' as she thought of it Xiao Xing er slowed and looked back before he heard a loud explosion because of the tree smashing.

When she saw this Xiao Xing er turned around and run back to where she left Xiao Ren while thinking 'You must be alive! because I don't want to live without you'
