It took a minute for the darkness to fade away and then be replaced by a new kind of darkness.
Instead of pitch blackness you saw, nighttime darkness. It must have been 10:30 by now.
You squint your eyes so you could see through the dark. Infront of you, you saw a tunnel, it was inlaid with grey stones that were covered with graffiti. One looking oddly like a person, edging you to come in.
Your eyes went wide from the shock.
"Where are we?" You asked Jisung.
"We are at one of the many openings to hell, called The Devils Pass."
You stepped forward and looked closer to see there were people.
You hoped they couldn't see you but that hope was quickly crushed when they looked directly at you.
You let out a quick shriek at their horrid appearance.
All seemed to look different. One had a bloody stab wound, and with a gunshot wound to the head and the two, the other two were grotesque looking. One was burned beyond recognition and the other looked like he was beaten to death.
They all seemed satisfied with your fearful reaction, and emitted horrifying sounds, such as creepy laughter which doing so caused other sounds to be emitted from within the tunnel.
You stepped closer to the edge of the tunnel to reveal more of the terrifying entities.
You closed your eyes in terror, while high pitched screams and cries were heard, and the crying of a little girl. It felt like you were in the scariest horror movie you could imagine.
The screaming abruptly stopped and without know you felt yourself peaking out and you suddenly found yourself to be greeted by another set of eyes.
Your high pitched scream was higher than any other heard that night, and you crumpled back in fear.
Infront of you only about a foot away was woman covered in blood and holding a knife.
The woman then began to shriek in delight and the other howled in laughter.
Then they all began to stare you down in silence. They knew you didn't belong there, your soul was too... pure, I mean yea you've definitely thought of less than unholy things, but you've never hurt anyone. But they were intrigued because they smelt the blood of an innocent inside you.
While all this took place Jisung stood there and watched, completely accustomed to the horrid routine.
Perhaps this is how all the others before you have failed. Maybe they all died right here and they were dragged into the depths of the underworld.
You thought back to what Jisung had said. He said to show courage and strength and right now you were showing neither.
You balled your fist in an attempt to gain courage. You quickly opened your eyes and stared them down just as intensely as they stared at you.
It was a battle of strength that you couldn't afford to lose.
So you tried your best. Your eyes glided over each figure, challengingly.
Instead of backing down they just laughed. You were not convincing enough, for you still feared them.
"Calm down. As long as you don't fear, they can't hurt you." Jisung stated calmly.
You looked over to him. He was perched over a rock, arms crossed, watching your every move.
The demons had acknowledged his presence, however none made an attempt to harm him, instead a few cowered before him. ~I guess they know who he is.~
Jisungs words calmed you a little. If I fear then I die, and if I find courage I can live. Easier said than done.
The demons advanced towards you, savoring you weaknesses and the fear emitting from you.
You shut your eyes tightly and began to think about your friends, family, and Johnny.
What would everyone do if they found out I died like this.
With each thought you felt courage building up inside you. You must live for them. All of them. And nothing is going to stand in your way.
You opened your eyes back up. The courage could be seen in your menacing glare.
The demons stared back. A few glared and were sizing you up. However most got the message and backed away.
The few remaining were not so easily convinced.
"I'm not scared of you." You muttered lowly.
Damonic laughter was all that was heard. You couldn't help but wonder if they could even talk.
"I'm not scared of you." You repeated again, your voice rising.
They just stared, as they started to loose confidence. You began to get irritated. You were begging timed and you didn't have all night to be arguing with a bunch of demons.
"I SAID I AM NOT SCARED OF YOU SO GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY!!" You screamed.
They silently moved out of your way while still glaring at you.
As you did so you stepped inside the tunnels without giving them a second glance. Jisung soon followed behind, also not acknowledging them.
Even though Jisung didn't say much he was proud that you made it.
When you entered the tunnels you were met by darkness once again. But this darkness was different than before. This felt like an intense evil aura.
Screams of pain could be heard somewhere off in the distance, as well as deranged laughter and some other noises, such as cracking of bones and crackling of flames.
It was clear that you were officially in the underworld and there was no turning back.
-Doyoungs POV-
Doyoung and the other gods had remained at the capital while Johnny and Y/n had left for their trip in the next town. But they had just received the news of what had happened to Y/n and everyone was grieving her loss. But they were still holding on to a little hope after Johnny told everyone that they spoke to her for a mere moment.
Doyoung sighed as he stepped into his room, "This is just awful. Y/n was so nice. And I really did like her. I hope she can come back to us."
Doyoung stepped up to his bookshelf to organize the books when he felt a sharp pain in his head and then he heard a faint voice but he couldn't quite make out what it was. He looked around but didn't see anyone so he shrugged and continued to stack the books.
I few moments later he heard the voice again and it was a little louder but this time the voice sounded familiar. ~Who the hell could that be?~ A moment later the voice screamed in his ear, "I SAID I AM NOT SCARED OF YOU SO GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY!!"
His eyes went wide when he finally recognized the voice and he shouted out, "Y/n!"
He looked around his room again. She was nowhere in sight. Fear flowed over him when he realized, "She's in the underworld."
