Chapter 5

The man named Chen bursted out laughing, "Oh man, for a second I almost thought-"

Johnny gasped, "Are you saying I wouldn't look good in a dress?"

Chen shook his head, "No, you look wonderful in everything you wear."

Johnny laughed and patted Chens back, "I'm just messing with you. But back to the dress I was talking about. I want it done by tonight along with four more dresses of your choice, five pairs of shoes that match each dress, and a handbag."

Chens eyes went wide, "Wow that's a tall order. Johnny is she a relative? Because I've never seen you buy anything for anyone, little alone a woman?"

Johnny looked at you for a second, "Ummm.... She's..."

You seen Johnny stuttering so you quickly stepped in, "I'm a family friend."

Chen smiled and nodded, "I see, how long do you intend to stay here."

You looked to Johnny, "I'm not really sure."

Johnny looked back towards you, "Don't worry Y/n, you'll be here for a very long time."

Chen nodded and walked back over towards a desk in the back room and began to write down the order Johnny made for you. "Sir that will be $1,550."

You slightly gasped and tugged on Johnnys sleeve and whispered to him, "Johnny what the hell, you know I can't afford that!"

Johnny chuckled and ruffled your hair, "I know, that's why I'm buying it for you."

"You can't do that, I can't pay you back. I'm only 17."

He chuckled, "And I'm thousands of years old so I think I can handle buying you a few things to wear."

You sighed and shook your head, "Fine, but don't do it again. I don't want you to go out of your way for me."

Johnny pulled out his wallet and smirked, "I'd go miles out of my way for someone as cute as you."

As he finished he walked over to Chen and paid while you were left staring at him. ~He thinks I'm cute!! No surely not he's probably seen hundreds of thousands of women in his life and I could never compare to any of them. I'm just a regular girl from earth. What would he like about someone like me?~

Johnny walked over to you smiling and he lead you back outside, "The dresses will be done tonight so we have plenty of time to check out the rest of the town."

"You don't have to, I'm sure you're busy with other things."

Johnny placed his hands on his chest pretending to be offended, "I could never be too busy for you."

You chuckled at his silliness but then you looked at him with a serious look, "Why didn't you tell that man in the shop that I am going to be a god? Is it a secret?"

Johnny looked away and thought to himself. ~I don't want anyone to know yet because I don't know what god she will become. I don't want the public to get their hopes up about a new god, what if she is destined to become evil? I don't want to worry her about this yet though.~

Johnny looked back at you with a smile. "I want to properly announce your arrival to the public in a month when you become your true god form."

You nodded and smiled, "I understand, So where do you want to go Johnny?"

He looked around in thought, "How about we get something to eat?"

"That sounds nice."

A few hours had went by and you two ate at a nice restaurant while he asked you endless questions about earth. You giggled, "Do you really no nothing about earth?"

He shook his head, "Not much, all I know is what Ten has told me. And from how he talks it has changed quite a bit in the past few hundred years. He said that you told him about a item called a Cellular Mobile Telephone, can you tell me what that is?"

You chuckled, "Most people just call it a phone. But it's this small rectangular shaped object that lets you talk to people that's really far away, it can also take pictures, and a bunch of other random things."

Johnnys eyes went wide, "So much power in one small rectangle? How were the humans able to come across this power before us gods."

You shrugged, "I don't know, earth has a lot of things like that."

Johnny crossed his arms, "It's not fair that the humans get all the cool stuff."

You giggled and a few minutes later you and Johnny left the restaurant and continued to walk throughout the town and talk about random things. Johnny suddenly gasped and suddenly looked to you, "Y/n wait right here, okay?"

You nodded, "Okay."

Johnny quickly ran into a store, and you looked through the window to see what he was doing. He was pointing towards something on a shelf but you couldn't quite see what it was. The shopkeeper boxed up the item and handed it to Johnny while he soon paid for it.

You sighed ~Is he buying something else for me? I don't even want to know how much this costed.~

Johnny ran out holding a pretty maroon box, "Hey y/n let's go over to that bench and sit down. I bought you something."

You walked over to the bench and sat down with Johnny, "Johnny, I told you not to buy anything else for me."

He smiled, "I know, but I don't care. I thought it would look pretty on you."

Johnny opened the box and carefully pulled out the item. He look at you and smiled, "It's a pearl headwear with a light pink porcelain rose. Do you like it?"

Your eyes went wide, "Oh my god, it's beautiful"

Johnny looked happy, "You really think so?"

You quickly nodded, "absolutely"

"Here, let me put it on for you." He leaned forward and placed one hand on the side of your face then carefully placed it on your head. He looked down at you and his face was now only a few inches from yours. "It's looks beautiful on you Y/n."

You could feel your face heating up and you were positive that you were blushing up a storm. ~Oh dear god. Why?! Don't do this to me?!~

You tried to push away your nervousness, "T-Thank you J-Johnny."

He soon stood up and smiled "So Y/n, it should be about time to get your clothes."
