A New Armor

"Ed, how about you sold your cores to William. He's a merchant that will give us a ride. You haven't sold it right! You can use the money to buy a new armor" Eris said.

Eris introduce him to William. He was a guy who talked to Eris not to long ago. He smile at Edward and introduce himself once again.

"I am William, Owner of Refia best armor shop, The Protector. If you want to buy a new armor I can give you the best one with a good price and if you want to sell your hard gained core I will buy it at a straight away with a price you won't regret taking."

"Alright, so where is your store? Can we go there straight away?".

Edward takes the offer immediately as he looked at himself. Edward thought is simple he needs armor or as his clothes won't offer him any kind of defense and there's an armor selling guy here so why not.

William guided Edward alone to his shop. Eris left him as she got a lot of stuff to do from saying goodbye to people she knew and buying essential stuff for their journey.

Edward arrived at William store. He didn't lie when he said the best armor shop in Refia. The store is three storied building with armor ranging from leather armor to metal armor hanging inside the store.

William brought him to the store and their transaction begin. Edward took out the cores and show him to William. He has 37 cores which 36 very low grades and 1 low grade.

"You have 36 very low grade cores and one low grade core. I will buy them the very low grade core for 10 gold each and 100 gold for low grade core making it 460 gold in total. Do you want to make the transaction. If you agree please take out your status plate."

"Alright William here my status plate."

Edward agree without thinking much and gave his status plate to William. The only think in his mind is picking out the good armor, and prepare himself for the new adventure that await him in the frontier.

William took out his status plate and place it on top of Edward status plate. It glows a with gold color for a second before he heard an announcement.

"Do you wish to make the transaction".

Both William and Edward said yes and the status plate stops glowing, and he heard another announcement.

"Transaction Complete."

"Now that our transaction is complete you can choose the armor you want to buy. You can go around the shop and pick one according to your need". William said.

"Don't mind if I do. so how is the price range William can you recommend me a good armor in within my price range." Edward asked.

"Hmm, how much money did you have Edward, my best armor is on the third floor we import the armors directly from the frontier city best blacksmith, Alexandro, the price range is from 5000 gold to 10000 gold, On the second floor we have the armor made by the top blacksmiths in Refia city the price range is from 1000 gold to 3000 gold and On the first floor we got armor made by new blacksmiths the price range is from 100 gold to 500 gold. So, which floor will you choose." William replied.

Edward got cold sweat when he heard 10000 gold worth of armor he didn't have that much money. His shoulder fell as he heard the second floor price Edward sigh in relief as he heard the first floor armor is finally within his price range.

"I am not that rich. The first floor will make do for me. William do you have recommendation for me."

"Yes, how about this armor it was made by Fares our new rising star made from best black Iron you could find in Refia the price is 560 gold". William explained.

William show him a bulky armor. It was a round black armor that has a solid defense it looks simple but from what William said it was a good armor made by genius blacksmith.

"Sorry William but I don't like this armor it looks like it will hinder my mobility I prefer using a leather armor instead do you have a good one in your store."

"Let me see, how about this one. It was made by Arta, A rival of Fare even though he was inferior to Fares but it was not by much. This armor was made using a forest wolf leather the price is 460 gold." William explained.

Edward grimaced as he heard William said a forest wolf Edward didn't have good memory of that damned wolf. Even though someone may prefer wearing the skin of their hated enemy Edward is not that person.

"Do you have another one William. I prefer something that wasn't made of anything related to wolf especially a forest wolf."

William looked at him with knowing look and take out another armor.

"How about this armor. It was made by Alan, my son friend, even though he was a novice, I can see he has potential to become the best armorer. This armor was made using forest monkey leather pieced together you can see it was excellently made. The price is 300 gold." William explained.

Edward saw the armor, and instantly fell in love with it. The armor strike every soft spot Edward have, it was red, it looks cool and more importantly it got awesome engraving in the form of strong looking monkey standing on top of mountain with sun as the background.

"I choose this armor let's complete the transaction right away." Edward said enthusiastically.

They complete the transaction, and Edward finally got an armor. He step out of the store wearing his newly bought armor and satisfied looking smile. Edward felt like he was on top of the world and ready to go to frontier.

Now the only thing, he needs to do is wait for two more days ... it will be a long wait for Edward.
