To have even an ounce of chance against Existence Severing, one had to undergo Amalgamation with their Ordinance and raise their level of complexity.

The key was complexity.

If it was too weak, the severing would fail and their existence would collapse.

So many spent a great number of years to ensure that their complexity was great enough before they attempted Severing!

It had to be done this way.

This was the natural progression!

But then, there was Noah.

There was Ozymandias.

When it came to the methodology Ozymandias and Noah used, there was a single point about it that made it impossible for others to do the same.

The Blood of a Pioneer allowed him to sever a small part of himself.

A small part.

For him, severing a single Ordinance was a small part of himself.

For others, Severing a single Ordinance meant Severing all of themselves!

It could not be done.
