Soon, Ashton, Alissa and Samantha entered the basement.

They looked at the siblings huddled together and Samantha and Alissa couldn't help but to cry as well.

All three looked at their partners and approached each, crying on their partners arms this time.

"I feel empty Ash," Amber said as she held unto him as if afraid, she would fall to an abyss if she were to let go.

Ashton carried her princess like and hugged her tighter, "I am here Thalie."

Yes, this is what she needed right now. Not some consolation words but to hear him say that he was there, that she was not alone.

"They didn't even feel a bit guilty about it. They wouldn't regret what happened to my parents. They would only regret that they didn't do it thoroughly," she continued.

He remained silent, patting her back.

"It's suffocating, it's so painful Ash. It feels like my heart is being squeezed despite getting back at them finally."
