Chapter 70: Shocking The Galaxy

Alexander shifted to the realm gate and waited for Carter, who was the Head of The Secret Services to arrive with his best interrogators, in order to accompany Alexander to interrogate the sith spy. Alexander sensed Carter shifting with 4 more people who were wearing enchanted hoods behind him. As Alexander was connected to the force, he could now sense people shifting around him before they even appeared.

Alexander saw that there were 2 men and 2 women with Carter. Alexander didn't say anything and opened the realm gate and entered the star wars world followed by the agents. Alexander and his company appeared in the basement of the building where the chairman lived. Alexander told the people to join hands with him in a circle and proceeded to shift towards Gromas. As Gromas and other planets were now a part of his kingdom, Alexander could appear on them from anywhere in the Galaxy within a second. Alexander and his company appeared in the jungles of Gromas and Alexander ordered a passing speeder to give them lift to the place where the spy was held.

Alexander and his spies arrived before a hospital. The spy was injured quite badly while resisting capture so he had to be admitted in the hospital. Alexander didn't enter the hospital as he had a meeting to attend and people to subjugate. Alexander had a nursing staff which was a very hot and sexy green skinned twi'lek female led Carter and his companions to the spy. Alexander moved inside a deserted valley and shifted to Corellia. Alexander transfigured himself to look like a middle aged human male. Alexander arrived in a giant meeting room and found the repersentatives from the 100 small companies waiting for him. The atmosphere was tense as all the companies were just getting by. These 100 small companies were small on the galactic scale but each of them was worth hundreds of billions of credits. Alexander entered the room and took the central dias. All the representatives were staring at Alexander like hawks as the middle man of this deal was the Trade Federation and one thing was known throughout the galaxy that Trade Federation did not meddle in small time deals.

Alexander spoke, " Ladies and Gentlemen!!! Thank You for arriving here. Now, please don't panic as the room is being secured." As Aleaxander finish saying this, heavy blast doors slammed down from the ceiling and the room was sealed tight and after that an EMP pulse was released which fried all the electronics present in the room. Some people present in the room panicked while the others looked around in interest. A male rhodian spoke up in a loud voice, " What do you want us to build, human? You have employed such extreme measures to prevent anyone from disclosing anything."

Alexander ignored the rhodian and spoke in a loud voice, " Everyone, please calm down!!!" After few minutes of back and forth, everyone sat down. Alexander took a deep breadth and said, " My employer has a job for you, all of you." Alexander's words caused another muttering to spread through the crowd as employing all of their companies meant that the employer had some serious money. A Twi'lek female dressed in formal attire, which enhanced her beauty, asked, " What's the job?"

Alexander said, " To build 100 mining installations on a jungle planet."

The Twi'lek continued, " What we are mining?"

Alexander, " All of you sign this contract and then I will tell you."

Alexander passed a datapad which stipulated the terms of the contract. The contract stated that the disclosure of the terms of the upcoming deal with the companies in any form by the companies required the companies to pay 90 percent of their assets as damages. The contract also had a weird logo on the top which was a purple sea which had a golden sea waves. It looked weird but beautiful. The golden waves were in reality, micro sized Sanskrit words which stipulated that those signing the contract would become the subjects of the Fortis Empire and any property owned by them would become a part of the Fortis Empire. Alexander wanted to test if digital contract would work or not. The representatives signed one by one and Alexander didn't feel them becoming his subjects so he fished out the hardcopy and said, " We want you to sign on paper also, so that even if a slicer changes the terms of the contract, we can be reassured. Everyone signed the paper and Alexander inwardly took a sigh of relief but was shocked when nothing happened.

Alexander didn't have the time to thing about this as the representatives were starting to get irritated. Alexander showed the holo-presentation of Fortis and spoke up, " Let's begin. Our employer recently brought a planet for himself in the inner region. It is a jungle planet. He want you to build the mining installations on these spots...." The map of Fortis planet lighted up with red dots, highlighting the mining spots. ".... Our employer is in a quite a hurry so he wants all the mining spots to be constructed simultaneously."

A rhodian spoke up, " Anyone of us would be able to build the mining installations simultaneously on this planet, so why employ all of us?"

Alexander, " It's a test of your skill and efficiency for a long-term project which would change you and your respective companies future."

A middle aged human male asked, " What are we mining?"

Alexander changed the representation and now the map of Fortis was mainly decked in red and purple colours. Alexander said, " The red portion is the deposits of gold of the planet while the purple one represents the deposits of another metal for which this test is conducted. The planet has a rough terrain coupled with the jungles makes it very difficult for the construction and mining to happen. This will be your test, the one who finishes first building the mining installations would be given 100 points and second place, 99 points and so on. Then, comes the real mining part, the company who has the most production in 6 months would be awarded 1000 points, the second would be awarded 990 and so on. The companies will be restricted to mine their highlighted spots. Our explorers have marked the spots having the same difficulty so no one would have any unfair advantage. All the companies will start the work with the same grade of machines to make the competition more fair. The companies who will try to pry into the purple coloured deposits would be disqualified and all their assets would be confesticated. Take this very seriously, the purple coloured deposits are the real deal."

A nemodian asked, " What are the deposits marked by purple colour?"

Alexander, " Pass the test and you will know."

Alexander could see the greed in the eyes of the representatives. One gram of gold sold for 10 to 15 credits per gram on the galactic markets so the estimated gold deposits by seeing the red colours on the map alone, would be worth hundreds of billions on the galactic market without taking into account the other mysterious metal. The representatives were sure that the other metal was far more precious than gold due to the amount of secrecy involved.

The nemodian continued, " How much we will earn from the gold extracted?"

Alexander, " One credit per gram of gold. The company who wins would get 20 percent from the sale of the other metal so don't try to argue for better rates. This meeting ends now. The competition will start from 3 months from now on and one more thing, corporate espionge is allowed." The representatives turned serious and started to look around them in caution. Alexander ended the meeting after that and waited for the fireworks to begin.

Alexander was sure that the news and content of the meeting will be leaked and the powers of the galaxy would be quite shocked as everyone in the back of their minds had deemed many planets with rough terrains as having not much value. The reveal that a 'resourceless planet' had such massive deposits of gold and other more precious metals would make the real powers of the galaxy think of the resources present on other such planets. A new age of development would begin. The more shocking news that a man brought an entire planet for all it's natural existence and that planet had so many resources would entice many Galactical powers and second generation rich kids to buy their own planets. These currents would lead to the birth of P.T.O. ( A/N: Guess the full form😁😁😁) as per the plans made by Alexander. Alexander just need to conquer some more core worlds to make his plan come to fruitation.
