Failed plan (37)

Marcus and Harrison walk into Ariel's room to find her sitting up. She had ripped the tube out of her mouth and was breathing heavily.

Harrison ran to get a nurse and had Harper call the doctor.

"What happened why did you take the tube out." Marcus said.

"Could... Not... Breath. Machine... not... on."

Ariel gasped.

He looked the machine, it was unplugged but how?

When the nurse came in she hooked up an oxygen mask and placed it on Ariel. Ariel then started to breath a little better. When Hiny came in Marcus told him about the machine being unplugged.

He checked Ariel and gave her something for pain before pulling Marcus and Harrison out the door.

"She is lucky she came through and did not die from this. Harper who has been in this room since Marcus left?" Hiny asked.

"Just two nurses. The one that is in with her now. She went in right after Marcus left. And another a little later. I did not get a good look at her she had a mask on. She had a chart and was looking at it when she went in and out. That's all." he said.

"It had to be the other nurse. The one in there now, she is the head nurse of this floor." Hiny said.

"I know the director here. I'll see if we can get her on tape." Harrison said heading off to the elevator.

"Marcus go stay with her. My mentor should be here tonight. If she starts to breath harder and we can't control it we may need to place her back into a coma. Let me know of any changes right away."

Marcus nodded and went back in.

"I'm sorry, I messed up." Harper said.

"No, we just got lax. From now on check badges and face. No new people. If Nurse Cora has not introduced you to them don't let them in. Also go in and watch what they do." Hiny said.

"Will do. I am really sorry." He hung his head.

"Brother we all make mistakes. I let her out of the hospital to soon so part of this is on me too."

Ariel was sleeping when the warm feeling washed over her body again. She had been cold for awhile. Her chest hurt now but she could breath again. The warm feeling made her feel peaceful and loved.

She wanted to be back in the white nothingness it was dark here. She was really scared of the darkness. She had been trapped in a dark closet a few times in Saint Alexander Orphanage. She needed the light then she suddenly opened her eyes.

She looked and seen Marcus sleeping beside her. She was wrapped in his arms. He was the warm loving feeling she had. He always stood by her and made her feel safe.

'Kimberly, he is my true love.' she thought to herself.

She reached up and moves his hair to the side and he opened his eyes. "Hey beautiful your awake."

"Yes, I decided something." She said.

"What?"

"I don't want you to ever let go. I need to be always by your side." She smiled.

"Then you have me for life my love. I will never leave you again."

Carrie watched as the men went in and came out. She wished she was closer to hear but she could tell the bit** was not dead. They would be on alert now but she had to find a way to kill her.

Harrison was watching the surveillance video. He seen himself walk in. He seen both them leave. He seen Nurse Cora go in and leave. Then he seen the strange nurse. She look familiar but he could not put his finger on it. He then wanted to see if she appeared before this; so went back to the start of the day.

JJ was at the door. Nurse came in then went out. Soon Harper and Doctor Hinderaker came. JJ left. Hinderaker went in for a while then came out and talked to Harper.

Nurse Cora went in and out. Harrison came with breakfast. Handed a coffee to Harper and went in. A while later he left. Then a familiar face with flowers. Carrie Jackson why was she here. He printed out a still. Then he watched. Harper talked to her he check the flowers and the card then let her in. She came right back out without the flowers.

He then compared the two printouts. It was the same person. He then used the cameras to follow where she went. She went into an employee locker room and she came out dressed as that nurse. He then watched her steal that chart and wait behind that large plant down the hall. He then watched as she went into Ariel's room and out. Then she went back to the locker room and came out back in her cloths. Then back to her hiding spot.

Harrison then sent security to go get her and bring her to an empty room. He then called JJ to meet him there.

JJ woke and listen to what was going on. He called Tubby and they headed to the hospital. When they got to the room a woman was screaming.

"Let me go right now. You have no right to detain me."

JJ and Tubby walk in to find a security guard sitting there with a woman who was put in a straight jacket and tide to the bed.

"Who ever you are you had better know I am friends with a powerful man. You had better let me go before he finds out."

"Who might that be?" JJ asked.

"I work for Mr. Harrison McKenna he will have you in jail for life for touching me." she said.

"Funny, Tubby who did I say called for me to come here?" He asked Tubby.

"You said Richie's brother Harry called."

"Do you know Harry's real name?" JJ asked.

"Harrison McKenna" Harrison said walking in with a few papers and a disc.

"Harrison help me please." Carrie cried.

"Like you help Ariel. What you did could of killed her." He said.

"I don't know what your talking about. I was here to visit a friend when they grabbed me and brought me here."

"No I have your whole day on disk. Here is the still life of you." He threw them at her. She had not thought there would be cameras.

"I'm sorry please forgive me. I was just upset that you were going to ask her to marry you when I have been in love with you for years. I promise I will never harm her again."
