The matcha cake and the strawberry puree rested on the kitchen counter while it was cooling down. Since there was nothing else for Gu Xin Ye to do, Qin Zhan let her rest in the living room.

Gu Xin Ye decided to play with her phone while waiting for Qin Zhan to call her and look at the cake.

After playing with her phone for a while, Gu Xin Ye suddenly realized that there was some sound coming from the kitchen.

A while ago, Qin Zhan said that there was nothing for her to do while waiting for the cake to cool down. But it seemed that Qin Zhan was doing something else.

After listening to them for a while, Gu Xin Ye decided to go and check on what Qin Zhan was doing. 

She stood at the entrance and saw Qin Zhan leaning over to the kitchen counter. His back was facing her. Therefore, Gu Xin Ye could not see what Qin Zhan was doing.
