9. Andrea's Call

Andrea usually gets to bed at 10.00 pm, therefore, Gea emptied her schedule from 9.30 to 10 pm every night and gave her a call although after one night call is always Andrea who calls her first. Gea has no problem and assured Andrea that she is free during those hours.

on Thursday Gea forgot her phone at the apartment, it's a really busy day, Gea only got to ate a chicken sandwich which DJ bought for their lunch.

Gea and DJ finally enter their apartment at quarter past 10.00 pm. Gea remembers Andrea but thinks she's already sleeping Gea took a fast shower before reviews some of her Friday client files. DJ bring cookies with a cup of chocolate to her study room "Don't stay up late sis, your schedules start early in the morning"

"I'll be in bed at midnight after reviewing some of these files, thank you for the chocolate and its friends".

Gea glad that DJ wanted to stay here with her being her assistant, friend, sister and especially be someone that always stands beside her. As soon as she enters her room she heard her phone rang.

"Hi...mom haven't you sleep yet?"

"Hi..." a voice heard, but it wasn't Andrea, Gea check the id number, it is Andrea number

"Your not mom, you... you... your not Andrea... it's something wrong with her, where the owner of this number, where are you?" Gea panicked thinking something may happen to Andrea

"Whoo... whoo... wait for a second, Andrea is fine she is sleeping, she asked me to call you and make sure you are ok since she can't get a hold of you." Gea released a heavy breath signed of her relief feeling and saw thirty miscalled from Andrea

"I am ok, it's just I was really busy lately and today I forget my phone, is she really ok, who's speaking by the way?"

"I am David, Andrea's son, thank you for taking care of my mom... you do not need to worry, I'll company her for a few days and the maid already back as well...". David paused for a second, thinking to thanks her for the food, but he thinks it's will be complicated if he explained that Mrs. Adam doesn't need to prepare the meals anymore, 'let mom explained it' David thought it will be best.

"Happy to hear that, please tell her I am ok, will you?

" Sure, do"

"Well...Mr. Stevenson..."

"Call me David!"

"Well... David can you pass her a message, can you tell her I won't be there tomorrow afternoon, but I'll make sure to give her a call tomorrow night, usual time, ...and David you can call me Gea as well."

"Ok Gea, I will"

"Nice talking to you, I should hang up right now, I have tight schedule tomorrow, sent my greeting to mom and Deena, bye"

"Bye... and goodnight".

David can see how deep these two women attached to each other despite the fact that they just met, no relation whatsoever, even blood.

David was annoyed seeing his mom worry walking around in her room making a call and finally went to bed when David convince her that he won't go to sleep till he can reach Gea.

After talking with Gea David could notice her sincerity and love for his mom.

Andrea wake up David early in the morning and asked him about Gea, hearing that Gea is fine Andrea let David back to sleep.

Later when they had lunch."Son, I need you to accompany me to the market today, I'll like to make something for Gea, and I do not want to hear no as an answer, you could use mask, glass, and hat or hoodie whatever suits you make people not recognize you, I don't care but you need to help me".

David was an A-list entertainer before building his own management company and he's still active once, in a while, his business grew bigger and became one of the tops in the industry, not much of his employees know that he is the CEO they thought he is one of the performers manage by his company.

" Mom, I was sleepy before, so I forgot to tell you that Gea can't be here today, but she says she'll call you tonight's usual time."

"Why don't you say anything when I asked you before?" Andrea hit him in the shoulder.

"Ouch, ...mom! I told you I forgot, you ask me early in the morning, I really sleepy... I went to bed really late to make sure I pass your message to Gea, how come you so mean to your own son ...mom" David make his face look really pity while looking at Andrea.

"Ok... ok, it's ok" Andrea hug David and both of them giggle
