CHAPTER 19

Bed side alarm ringing continuously, Adam opened his eye off the alarm and got down on the bed went straight to the bath room to take his bath. Wanted to go to his friend's house named Sina, they were friends from secondary school and Adam's father knew her as Sina's parents knew Adam as well.

Adam had woke up before early in the morning when the day was about to bright performed solat and slept back, he didn't went to work and he had told his father, his friend too didn't went to work so decided to spend the day together at Sina's house.

He came out from the bathroom after some minutes, brought out a yellow shirt and black trousers wore them one after the others, he had dressed inside the bathroom and had applied body cream there. He brought out black canvass shoes under the bed, wore it and left the room. Got down to the living room walked closed to the small desk where they used to keep the car's but he couldn't find his own car key there, checking all the living room may be he missed place it when his stepmother came out from the kitchen standing and looking at him.

"Adam! Good morning, how was your night?" He faced her.

"Where is my car key" as with command and louder voice.

"Car key!, all the keys are on the table now"

"I mean my own car key!" Said with anger, he had been thinking may be she was the one that took it.

"Okay!, so which one are you talking about"

"Which one is my car again!, the white car off course"

"Oh! That white car" shook her head.

"Yes!, where is my car key?"

"It's the one that I want to take out so I took it key"

"My own car!" Looking at her with bad eye.

"It can be your car but I like it and I want to take it out!"

"Everybody in this house know that it's my car and no one can take it out without my order!,so how dare you to take my car key without my order"

"Do you realize I am your father's wife! Stepmother!"

"Which wife? Stepmother my foot!, who know you as a wife!"

"All your family! And they welcomed me legally as their wife"

"Seriously!, they welcome you legally as wife!" He laughed and clapped his hands.

"Yes! As the New wife!" Said with loud voice and looking at him.

"My daddy didn't want to marry you or marry a kind of lady like you it's because of this your unwanted pregnancy that you carrying around!"

"It's not unwanted pregnancy because your father accepted it! Even you don't know!"

"I am just waiting for you to give birth!" He giggled.

"Then what will happen!, what is going to happen after the birth?"

"To see your life outside! Because I know and sure that my father is not the one responsible for it!"

"We shall see!, I have signed an agreement to do DNA test after birth so wait and see. I am not scaring because since I have met your father I don't date another man"

"I don't ask you to tell me a story!, give me my car key now!"

"Am not giving you!, there are many cars in the compound go and take another one"

"What nonsense! Father must hear of this!" Took one of the car keys with anger and left the living room, door opened and closed. She smile and went back to the kitchen; Adam entered into the car and drove out, driving like a crazy man to his father's company and as an opportunity for him the road was free as the during of working period that it was.

He arrived to the company after one hour, packed at the car park and went straight to his father's office without greeting anybody or responded back to those that were greeting him. Knocking at the door.

"Come in!, the door is open" door opened and closed with anger.

"Good morning Daddy!" Standing at his front with anger showed all over him.

"Adam! What happened I see you and why your face full of anger like this?"

"It's that woman at home!, Daddy!! It's your wife"

"What is it again!" He breathe in and Fed up of their matter.

"She took my car key and insisted that she is not going to release it"

"Why!, how could she"

"She said that she want to take it out and I want to go to Sina's house now"

"Why don't her take another car for cry out loud!"

"I don't know! Dad, she just like to curse trouble all the time!"

"Let me call her!" Took his phone on table dailing her mobile number.

"It better to call her and talk to her! Dad" still standing and looking angry.

"She is not picking her call"

"You see! I told you daddy, how could she!, she can't"

"Go home now!, before you will get home I will have talk to her and she will give you the key"

"No! I don't agreed!, let go together Dad"

"You see that am at work and see any files at my front!"

"You will come back and continue with them, let go together now!"

"Adam!!, okay let go" he stood up, closed the laptop and two of them left the office. The driver stood up from where he was sitting as he saw Adam's father came out, he did sign to him to seat down and entered into the car that Adam brought and left the company.

Adam's stepmother had dressed and ready to go to where she was going to, got down to the living room when she saw the door opened and two of them entered.

"Why did you come home early my husband?" She asked, Adam was looking at her with bad eye.

"Come home by this time! No I will go back"

"You forget something?"

"No!, it's Adam that came to complain to me and I have called your number you don't pick it"

"Am in the bathroom when you called, so that is why you are here!"

"Yes!, why did you take his car key?"

"I like the car and I want to take it out!, so what is there!"

"It's only Adam that can take it out!"

"I don't get you!, what you did mean?" Said with surprised.

"I bought the car personally for him, so if you want to take it out you will ask for his order and if he agree good! But not by force"

"I don't believe i can hear this from you my husband!, ask for his order!"

"Yes! For next time, if you want the same car i will buy your own for you!"

"It better!, when?" Said with smile face and Adam hissed.

"May be when I come back from traveling! Buy it as i arrive, so give the key"

"Okay! Take my husband" he collected it and gave it to Adam.

"Both of you know that am traveling tomorrow, is this how you will be doing at home and won't let me have rest there!" Looked at two of them.

"Sorry Daddy!" Said with lower voice.

"Am sorry my husband!" Said with smile.

"Father!, let go so that I can drop you at work!"

"Am going back to office! So take care"

"I will my husband"

"I promised I will get you the car!"

"Okay! My husband, trust you" she laughed and three of them left room, Adam and his father entered into the white car which own by Adam drove out and his Stepmother car too followed them. Adam dropped his father at his company and turned back drove to Sina's house.
