Perfect Home

"Good morning. Did you wait long?" Dahyun approached my table as soon as she entered the cafe.

We were in our second week of album promotions and things were becoming more and more hectic. I barely had enough sleep last night since we were going to promote our 3rd song in the album called "Very Nice". This was already the 5th song all in all that we promoted aside from the B-side tracks of the album. Last week, we promoted "Don't Wanna Cry" and "Pretty U". Now this week, the goal was to promote "Very Nice" and "Crazy in Love". I spent all night finalizing the stage mix for it since I was going to spend the whole day today with Dahyun.

Today, we were going to film our second episode for We Got Married. It's been a month since we filmed the first episode. Truth be told, the last time I saw Dahyun was on my birthday. After that, we were all bombarded with schedules and most of it didn't match theirs so all we could do was communicate through messages or calls. We got closer since then but our relationship was still pretty much far from real. In case you were wondering if we're together, we're not. It's not that she rejected me, she said that it wasn't the best idea for now.

Okay…

I totally got rejected.

But our relationship didn't change. We have only gotten closer since then. And that's what matters.

"Hey, wifey. No, I just got here a few minutes ago. How are you?" I asked.

She sat beside me as she took my hand and intertwined her fingers with mine. "I'm actually good. We just finished our schedule today at a radio station. We're free for the rest of the day now. How about you?"

"Me? I'm great actually." I responded which made her narrow her eyes at me. I slowly leaned back. "What? What did I do?"

"Before we went to our schedule, we visited PD-nim early morning for a meeting. I walked past your studio this morning and saw you working. You haven't slept again, have you?" She pinched my arm which made me yelp in pain.

"Ouch! I had to! We were going to promote tonight and we were meeting today so I had to finish the mixing." I tried to explain.

She sighed. "Did you even sleep at all?"

"I did. It was just a few hours though. But hey, sleep is sleep." I gave her a smile as I try to wiggle my way out of this situation.

She pulled her chair close to mine so we were basically inches centimeters away from me. She then gently touched my face and made me lean on her shoulder. "We can spare a few minutes so you can rest."

I was surprised. "But…"

"No buts. Just listen to me for now." She insisted. I didn't fight back and just did as I was told. After a few seconds, I didn't even notice that I was already asleep. The next thing I knew, Dahyun was trying to wake me up as she gave me a nudge. "Wake up, hubby. It's time to go."

I slowly lifted my head and was still pretty much groggy. "How long was I out?"

"Oh about an hour." She replied.

My eyes widened. "That long?"

She giggled. "I wouldn't have woken you up if it wasn't for the crew who asked us to start. You look really peaceful."

"Thanks, wifey. You must have been sore from not being able to move for an hour." I said.

She waved it off. "No worries. I fell asleep for about a few minutes too."

The crew then handed us our mission card. I took it from them and opened it. "Do you want to read it?"

She smiled excitedly and nodded. I handed the letter to her and she hid it from me as soon as she took a peek and read it. She then started laughing loudly. I wanted to get the letter from her to see for myself. "What?! What is it? Why are you laughing?"

She leaned on my shoulder as she showed the contents to me. "Dear Kim Couple, are you ready to find your house of love? Inside the envelope is the key to your new home which will be finished in two days. For today, just enjoy your time together as we have prepared a map for your date."

"Wow! We're finally having our house!" I excitedly yelled.

Dahyun then covered her chests and narrowed her eyes at me. "Don't get any dirty ideas."

I plopped on the table and sighed. "Ya!~ Don't do that. The people might think that I'm a pervert or something."

She took my hand and pulled me towards her. "I'm just kidding. Anyway, we have a big day ahead. Are you ready?"

_________

"Waa! Oppa! Tteokbokki (spicy rice cake)! Can you buy it for me? Please, please, please?" Dahyun said as soon as we entered Myeongdong's food district.

The aroma of the different traditional Korean foods were colliding with each other and were giving off a very inviting smell. Even when we were still outside and were being oriented on what to do while being here, I could already taste how good the food was from the smell. It was getting me excited to the point that I couldn't focus on what the director was saying. I could tell that Dahyun was the same. She was always unconsciously glancing at the entrance of the district from time to time.

"Sure. Let's have some. It's one of my favorite snacks actually." I chuckled at how excited she became.

She snapped her head towards me. "Really? Me too! It taste especially great with some-"

"Samgyupsal and kimbap." We said at the same time.

Her jaw fell as soon as she heard what I said. "Were you stalking me?"

It made me laugh. "Of course not. I usually go with other trainees when I was in SM and eat all three when we have time."

"Wow! You really are a foodie! Can we get some kimbap too?" She casually slid her next order.

My chuckle echoed in the streets as she did that. "Ya… Kim Dahyun… relax will you? We're still going to eat lunch. You probably won't eat properly because of that."

She then jumped in front of me as she clasped her hands together. "Please?~ Just this once. I promise to eat lunch."

I sighed as I couldn't help but notice how cute she was being. "Fine. But you HAVE to eat lunch. Like a lot of it."

"Are you trying to get me fat?" She scrunched up her nose and pretended to be angry as she placed her hands on her hips.

I pinched her tummy. "Ya, you're already fit enough. Okay? You've really become more fit since the last time I saw you. So stop worrying."

"I am not! I actually gained weight since the last time we saw each other." She pouted and sighed.

"Lies. Do you want to eat tteokbeokki and kimbap, or not?" I smirked.

She raised her hand and answered in a military tone. "Yes, sir! I want to eat, sir!"

I tickled her before taking her hand. "Let's go get some snacks. I'm already hungry from all this teasing."

She let go of my hand and clung onto my arm. "Thanks, hubby! You're the best!~"

We ended up buying more than what we could eat. Kimbap, tteokbokki and chocolate milk. We ate so much that I think we should skip lunch. I also bought food for the staff and crew since they were with me since this morning. I bet they were already going hungry. The director decided to stop filming for a while in order for her crew to eat properly.

"You're really generous, you know that?" Dahyun whispered.

I leaned closer to her and whispered back. "I'm not. I just don't like to eat and have other people watch us eat."

"So you'll feed them lunch as well?" She raised a brow.

I sighed. "If they want me to. They already refused me a couple of times."

"You are one amazing rich guy." She said as she rested on her hand.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not THAT rich."

She scoffed. "If being the most influential businessman in the world doesn't make you rich, then I don't know what does."

"Whatever. What do you want to have for lunch?" I decided to change the topic.

She placed a finger on her chin as she pondered. "I saw this post online about a ramen restaurant nearby. I think it was called… Asian Spice? I'm not sure. It had REALLY good reviews."

"Asian Spice? You mean Yo Chul-hyung's noodle restaurant in Myeongdong district? Sure, let's eat there." I nonchalantly said as I took out my holo-phone to call Yo Chul-hyung.

Her jaw fell as soon as she heard that. "That… I'm not even that surprised anymore. Seriously… isn't there anything you guys don't own?"

"A couple of things actually." I smiled.

She bowed her head and shook it in disbelief. "That was a rhetorical question."

"We're filming in 5 minutes. Are you guys ready?" Director Youra asked as she went over to us.

Dahyun gave her a smile. "Yes, Youra-unnie."

"Unnie? You guys are close?" I asked.

Director Youra chuckled. "You're the only one who wanted to talk formally to me."

"I'll call you noona then." I insisted.

"Nope. Too late." She joked.

I laughed. "Oh come on."

After a while, we resumed filming and went on with the next scene. We were going to go around and shop for stuff before heading out for lunch. Dahyun and I talked about what we wanted to buy as we moved around and came to a conclusion. We agreed to buy five pairs of couple items. In short, she wanted the both of us to wear the same thing. Meaning to say, she wanted couple rings, couple shirts, couple hoodies, matching bracelets and couple slippers for the house.

"Are we seriously going to buy rings when we're going to have a wedding?" I asked just to clarify.

She nodded excitedly. "Yes! Please?"

"But it would be redundant since we're going to have our wedding soon." I told her honestly.

"You're right. We should just think of another couple item for the house." She agreed. But I could see the disappointment in her eyes as she went around to look for some stuff.

I stopped her. "Wait. Do you really want those rings?"

"No, it's okay. Really. You're right about it anyway." She answered.

I sighed. "You're obviously not okay about it. What's with the rings that you want to get them so much?"

She avoided me. "It's nothing."

"Come on. Tell me." I insisted.

"I told you. I have no particular reason." She continued.

I took her hand and insisted further. "We won't leave until you tell me the truth."

"I just wanted to get something that would tell others that you're mine. Okay?" She admitted as she bowed her head out of embarrassment.

"Wouldn't the bracelets be enough?" I asked her.

She sighed. "That's why it's okay."

I held her hand and gave her a reassuring smile as I pulled a toothbrush from one of the shops. "Let's get matching toothbrushes then."

"You're replacing our rings with toothbrushes?" She started laughing madly.

It made me smile. It's been a while since I saw her laugh like this. "Come on. Let's buy some of the stuff we need."

For some reasons, Sooyoung's voice kept ringing in my head. I remember her words from the party. If a girl says it's okay, it's not actually entirely okay. There's this gut feeling that I'll come to regret this later on. Still, we were already moving forward with her leading me from stall to stall and shop to shop. But it was increasingly becoming more difficult to move around since there were more people that were gathering around us. It was becoming more uncomfortable.

"This one! Let's buy this one!" She pointed on the funny-looking slippers.

I chuckled at how ugly it was. "I'm guessing you want the red one? Or do you want the pink one? There're no white slippers, so those are your choices."

She snapped her head towards me. "How did you know my favorite colors?"

I shrugged. "I just do."

She crossed her arms and raised a brow at me. "Have you been stalking me?"

I turned her around towards the stall. "Just choose, will you?"

"I want the pink one. How about you? The blue one?" She asked.

I nodded. "I REALLY love blue."

"Well, that's one information I'm keeping in mind." She giggled.

"Thanks, wifey. I appreciate the gifts in the future." I joked.

She rolled her eyes. "Who says I'm buying you anything?"

I took her hand and led her to the next stall. "So we still need to buy other things. Let's go."

The crowd moved along with us. The bodyguards and the cameramen were already having a hard time moving around from the increase of people who were flocking us. As we moved from store to store, I wrapped my arm over Dahyun to keep her beside me. The crowd was starting to push and tighten their formation which made our room to move become more constricted. Our guards were doing their best to push the crowd some more so we could move freely. There were also people who were talking horribly about Dahyun being my partner. It was really mean and disrespectful for her.

"Are you alright?" I whispered to Dahyun.

She nodded. "I am. But it's starting to become harder to breathe."

I sighed. "Alright. I got this."

I stopped by a store and entered it with Dahyun. The rest of the guards were outside. We took our time inside to try to calm the situation down, but to no luck, the number of people outside were only increasing.

"What do we do now?" Dahyun asked.

I turned my phone on and dialed a number. "Hyung… do you guys have any schedule today?"

"JayB-ya! No, not really. Why? Do you need help with something?" He asked.

"My wife and I are in the shopping district of Myeongdong area. We're filming We Got Married today, but we… attracted a lot of people and it's becoming more uncomfortable to walk outside. Can you… do something about it? Please?" I begged.

"Alright. I'll go make a call. Can you hold out for a few minutes while I do so?" He asked.

I sighed. "I don't really have a choice. Thanks, hyung."

I went over to Dahyun who was sitting in one of the stools while staring blankly on the floor. The crowd was still pretty much noisy outside and I could still hear some of them badmouthing my wife. I took my wireless earbuds out, knelt in front of her and put it on her ears.

I smiled at her. "I'm sorry that I can't stop them from saying mean things about you. I can only drown out the noise."

I played a song from my playlist as she smiled at me. I could see her eyes become watery and soon a tear escaped her eyes as she began to cry. I took my handkerchief out and started wiping her tears away. I didn't say anything as I just sat there beside her while I let her cry it all out on my shoulder. The camera crew were kind enough to stop filming from that point on and allowed Dahyun to have some privacy.

Minutes later, the crowd started dispersing. I noticed it but I didn't say anything since Dahyun was still crying her eyes out. When she started calming down, that's when I gave her some water and told her that the crowd was starting to disperse. I took my phone out and started calling Kibum-hyung again. "Hyung, the crowd's gone. What did you do? HOW did you do it?"

"I have my ways. Hey, enjoy your date. Say 'hi' to our sister-in-law for me. Let's have dinner with her soon." Kibum-hyung said.

I chuckled. "Sure. Thanks, hyung. You're the best."

"Anything for my little bro." He hung up after he said that.

After the call, I knelt in front of Dahyun as I took the earbuds off. She slowly lifted her head but enough to hide the puffiness in her eyes. I gave her a smile as I slowly wiped her tear-stained face. "Dahyun-ie, can you still continue filming? Do you want to head to a nearby salon to have your make-up redone?"

She shook her head. "I'm good. Just give me a sec."

I nodded as she took out a small make-up kit from her bag and started doing her own make-up. As artists, we were required to at least know how to do our own make-up. It was necessary since there were times where our stylists would leave after they were done with their jobs, or if there were other forms of emergencies as well.

Dahyun snapped her powder close and breathed in. She then gave me a smile. "All good. Let's go."

I've got to admit. Her mentality is really strong. Still, it's obvious that she's not totally well yet. Her hand which she intertwined with mine gave it all away. She was trying desperately to control the shaking from her hand. This made me sigh. "Tell you what? How about we eat lunch instead and THEN have dessert? We'll buy the bracelets afterwards. Okay?"

She gave me a toothy grin. "Sounds good. So are we having ramen from that place?"

I pinched her cheek as I chuckled. "You can order anything you want. It's on me after all."

She laughed evilly. "You might regret saying that. I'm afraid of causing you to go bankrupt with today's lunch."

I laughed. "Unless you have a black hole for a stomach, then that would never happen."

She rolled her eyes. "And you said you weren't rich."

We made our way to Yo Chul-hyung's restaurant and had our lunch. Since it was lunch time, there were a lot of people there. Thankfully, Yo Chul-hyung already reserved a vacant room for the both of us and another room for the crew and staff of WGM. I told them to film quickly so they themselves could enjoy their lunch. Dahyun was already starting to feel drowsy after she ate. It would probably be best if we end the filming here. But she insisted on having dessert.

After lunch, we made our way to a popular coffee place where they sell special cookies. These cookies weren't delicious in particular, it's what you do with them. Basically, you buy these large cookies and place them inside paper bags. People who usually come here would vent out their anger by hammering the cookie inside the paper bags while saying all their frustrations out loud. Thankfully, as soon as we got to the café, there were no people.

"Why don't you find us a seat? I'll order us the cookies." I whispered to her which she responded with a nod. After ordering, I made my way to where Dahyun was. I also paid extra to the manager to keep the store to ourselves for a while so that Dahyun wouldn't be afraid to vent out her anger.

I sat down on the chair opposite to her. She was still staring blankly on the wall as soon as I placed the tray of cookies on the table. She snapped her head towards the baked goods and chuckled. "Don't you think this is a little bit big and more spherical than your average cookie?"

I smiled at her. "Well, this place is actually special. I used to come here all the time."

She raised a brow. "With who?"

"I come here by myself a lot. Since it would be embarrassing to bring someone here. You're the first person I actually brought to this place." I told her honestly.

She had a look of confusion on her face. "Why? What makes this place so special?"

I took one cookie and placed it inside a paper bag. "This is what you call a frustration cookie."

She watched as I demonstrated to her what to do with the cookie. Once the cookies were inside the paper bag. I got the small hammer provided by the café and began venting my anger and frustrations at the cookie while pummeling it. "I hate people who hurt and make my wife cry! It's upsetting that people don't understand what it means to have some privacy! I hate that I couldn't protect you when I was supposed to! I feel the guilt eating me up inside and I hate it!"

Dahyun was giggling the entire time as she covered her face as she watched me hammer the cookies. She was also flinching every time I hit the cookies. But she was enjoying it. I soon sighed deeply as I finished smashing the cookies. "So that's how you do it. Afterwards, you take the crushed cookies and start eating it. Now you try."

She took her share of the cookies and slowly placed it inside the paper bag. Dahyun then took the hammer meekly and took a deep breath in. Then… something… I don't know the word… I would say it was weird but amazing at the same time as I watched Dahyun's expressions transformed into one that I haven't seen before… but it was a cute expression nonetheless. She was hammering the cookies violently. And every time I asked her if she was done, she would go back to pummeling.

"You're supposed to say your frustrations out loud." I smiled wryly at her as she poured the now powdered cookies onto the plate. But I noticed that her face was bright again. It must have worked.

She smiled at me. "Want to have some?"

"I'm good. You can eat more if you want." I told her.

She shook her head. "I'm excited to buy those bracelets now."

I chuckled. "Dahyun-ie… I know we're supposed to follow the map for our date, but I was going to suggest a detour."

She tilted her head sideways. "Really? Why is that?"

I sighed. "I was really worried for you with what happened earlier. So I decided to buy your bracelet from somewhere more secure. If that's alright with you?"

She slowly reached out for my hand and took it as she gave me a warm smile. "Thank you. It's really sweet that you're thinking about my well-being. Let's do what you think is best."

We made our way to an expensive jewelry boutique and had a look around. The person who was watching over the shop immediately recognized us as she approached us. "Hello, sir. Is there anything you want in particular?"

"Hi there! My wife and I are looking for some couple bracelets. Do you have any of those?" Her expression slightly changed the moment I referred to Dahyun as my wife.

She cleared her throat and had an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, sir. But we ran out of those. Why don't you try buying something else separately?"

I was quite disappointed since I knew there were a pair of bracelets here. I can't help it if they're out of stock. Just as I was about to turn around a voice called out to me. "Kim Jinbo!"

I turned around and saw a familiar face. "Sung Kyung-ah?! What are you doing here? I thought you were in Milan right now?"

He came by and gave me a tight hug as he laughed. "Jinbo, my friend! It's really been a long time! I came here to see if our goods were delivered properly. You know how it is when it comes to this type of business. Anyway, what are you doing here?"

I stepped aside to reveal some of the camera crew and Dahyun. "Sung Kyung-ah, this is my wife Kim Dahyun."

"Dahyun-ie, this is a good friend of mine and also Yu Chul-hyung's younger cousin, Park Sung Kyung." I excitedly introduced him to Dahyun.

They both exchange pleasantries as Sung Kyung smiles at Dahyun. "Wow! Jinbo-ya! I didn't know that you were going to get married at a young age. And to a beautiful woman at that. Please take care of Jinbo-ya, Dahyun-ssi. He can be a bit... peculiar sometimes."

Dahyun laughed. "I know what you mean. I'll do so."

I just allowed them to tease me a little since Dahyun was finally smiling brightly again. Sung Kyung then turned to me. "So what brings you here? I'm honored that you actually picked one of my stores.

I chuckled. "I didn't even know that this was yours. We came to buy couple bracelets. But one of your employees said that you ran out, so we're going to try to look for it elsewhere."

His smiling face suddenly turned serious. "She said what? Hold on a second."

Sung Kyung went to talk to his employee and brought her to the back door. After a few good minutes, he came back with a tray of silver bracelets that looked amazing. He placed them on the table for us to see. "This is a new collection. You can pick a pair and it'll be on the house."

Dahyun and I snapped our heads towards Sung Kyung as he was smiling brightly at us. I gave a light pat on his shoulder. "Stop kidding, man. What do you mean 'it's on the house'? We know that this is expensive. Don't worry. I'll pay for these."

He chuckled as he shook his head. "Don't worry about it. I insist. Consider this as an… apology for what the woman who entertained you earlier said, and also as your wedding gift."

Dahyun's jaw fell wide open and I sighed as I turned to him. "Alright. I know that once you make up your mind, it's hard to change it."

He laughed. "Ya, it's what makes a good businessman. I'm sure you know what I mean, Jinbo-ya."

His words made me chuckle. Dahyun was still confused about the situation. "I'm really quite grateful, but if it's okay to ask, what happened to the girl who was manning this place earlier?"

Sungkyung chuckled. "Oh her? I fired her."

"Why?" Dahyun was surprised to hear that so she had to inquire.

"Apparently, she lied to you about not having any couple bracelets. I found out that she's a hardcore fan of Alpha, but was highly against the two of you getting married." Sung Kyung explained.

I nodded as I leaned over to whisper. "You didn't have to though. But thanks. I'll ask my secretary to send someone over to replace her."

He chuckled. "You don't have to. I didn't like her attitude anyway and was planning to fire her after I found someone else to replace her. I just happened to do it before the scheduled time."

After that, Dahyun and I picked out a silver couple bracelet that had an infinite symbol on it. This was a special bracelet since we could only take it off when the two infinite symbols from both bracelets would touch each other. It was really one of the highlights for today. Once we were done, we thanked Sung Kyung and left the store. The filming ended soon after that.

We were then told to pack the things we needed for the house and some stuff that we wanted to share with our partner. The move would happen days later so that we could still have time to prepare. After having our individual interviews for the show, I drove Dahyun to her dorm. She was asleep the entire time. She must have been really exhausted. I also had a lot on my mind because of the things that happened today. Still after thinking about these things, a small smile crept on my face as I looked at the bracelet on my wrist.

________

"I'm here hubby! Did you wait long?" Dahyun arrived in front of the housing district with her luggage along.

It's been days since our last meet up and we were both really busy in those days that we didn't see each other. I really missed her while I was busy promoting our songs the past few days. But we barely had enough time to think about it because of the busyness of the schedule. We would wake up from 4AM to prepare and return home the following day at 2AM. It was THAT hectic.

Today, we were finally moving in together in our own house. It was in a housing district in Gangnam and was sponsored by the show. It was really exciting since we would finally have our own place together. This would be our own personal hideout. We would probably have our own housewarming party later on but we'll see.

I chuckled as I took the luggage from her and started dragging it. "Not really. I just got here a few minutes ago."

"Are you excited? Why do you look so tired?" She asked as she caressed my face which took me by surprise.

I smiled wryly. "Nothing escapes your eyes nowadays, huh?"

She giggled. "When it comes to you, I see everything."

I chuckled. "Ya, you're taking my lines away from me."

"I learned from the best." She said before giving me a wink.

I gave her a smile. "Let's go see our house shall we?"

As we started walking uphill towards our new home, I noticed that she was slightly limping. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

Dahyun smiled wryly at me. "I guess my foot hasn't healed completely yet."

"What happened?" I asked as I halted my steps.

She sighed deeply. "I tripped during practice and sprained my ankle."

She looked really sad. I approached her and crouched down in front of her. "Climb on. I'll give you a piggyback."

Dahyun hastily patted my back as she urged me to stand up. "No! It's okay! You're already tired, plus you're the one carrying our luggages. I can't have you do this."

I turned my head towards her and gave her a playful glare. "Get on."

She sighed in surrender as she slowly climbed on my back. I stood up and started walking towards the house. She rested her chin on top of my head. "I'm really heavy… aren't I?"

"No. You're not." I answered plainly as I focused on walking.

"But I gained weight this week." She continued.

"It doesn't mean you're heavy." I still gave her the same answer.

Her arms wrapped around my neck. "Are you sure you're okay hubby?"

"Positive." I answered.

We soon arrived in front of our house and I slowly crouched down so she could get off of me. The house was really beautiful. It was just a one-story place but it had a huge front yard which made it more wonderful to look at. We made our way inside and took a tour around the house. It had one bedroom with a large bathroom, a large living room, a dining room and a kitchen. As soon as we were done touring, we went to see and share what was inside our luggages.

"You really have a huge luggage with you. It's making me curious what's inside." I told her.

She giggled as she opened her luggage. "Tada!"

"Wow! What are those?" I asked out of excitement.

She took out a pair of slippers. "These were the slippers we bought for the house."

"Are we going to wear them now?" I was trying my best not to show it, but I was quite embarrassed to wear them. They looked really funny to be honest.

She raised a brow at me. "If not now, when?"

"Fine. May I have my pair please?" I took the blue pair of slippers and wore them. It was nice since we were both embarrassing ourselves together. She might be used to it since she's in charge of taking on the embarrassing roles of the group, but I'm not.

I smiled wryly as she took out the next set of items from her luggage. "The next item is… our pyjamas. Onesies!"

They looked really ugly. Mine was a Stitch character and hers was a pink version of Stitch. I dropped my head in shame as soon as I saw it and she noticed it. "You don't like it, do you?"

I quickly grabbed my pyjamas from her and gave a fake smile. "Like it? I love it!"

"You liar. You can give it back if you don't want it." She pouted.

I sighed. "You got this for me. Honestly, I'm embarrassed to wear this. But you took the effort to pick it out and buy it. How can I say 'no' to that?"

A smile curled up from her lips as soon as she heard that. We both changed into our pyjamas before we continued diving in on what she brought. She brought a lot actually. Most of them went in pairs. Like mugs, plates, and more. No wonder it was really heavy and packed. Finally, it was my turn to open my luggage.

"Woah! Are you kidding me?" Her eyes widened in surprise as soon as she saw everything inside my luggage.

"What? A man's gotta feed himself." I chuckled.

Everything I had was food. Ramyeon noodles, wine, various chocolates and other snacks. But what she didn't realize was it was all a front. I was hiding something at the bottom part of the snack pile.

"Are we going to eat all of that?" She excitedly asked.

I pinched her cheek. "Sure. Eat as much as you want. It's mostly for you anyway."

She gasped. "Really?! Seriously?! You're not joking with me, are you?"

It made me chuckle. "Of course not. Go ahead and dig in."

She started munching on some snacks and I yawned. She turned towards me and stopped eating. "Didn't you sleep well last night?"

"I only slept around 2 hours." I told her honestly.

She patted my back and forced me to stand up. "Go. Get some sleep in the bedroom. I'll take care of the cleaning and the cooking for today."

"What? But I want to help." I tried to turn around but she was pushing me towards the bedroom.

"No buts. Just listen to me for once, will you?" She said.

I sighed. "Fine. Let me bring along our luggages in the bedroom."

"Fair enough." She said as she allowed me to do so.

Dahyun proceeded with cleaning the house by herself. It took her awhile but I was in deep sleep to even realize that. The next thing I knew, she was waking me up from my sleep. I didn't even realize that I've slept for 2 hours now. She must be tired from all the cleaning.

"Hubby, wake up. I'm about to finish cooking. Why don't you freshen up a little before we eat?" Seeing her after I woke up was the best gift I got today. She was happily smiling and she didn't even look like she was tired from all the chores.

I decided to be playful and pulled her in to join me in bed as I hugged her from the back. "Can we stay like this for a minute?"

"B-But I-I'm boiling water right now. I-I might burn the house if I l-leave it like that." She was obviously flustered from the situation as she heavily stuttered.

I chuckled on the crook of her neck. "Just one minute. You can leave after that."

There wasn't any response. But after a long pause she finally answered. "Okay… one minute."

One minute passed by so quickly as I slowly released her and she left without saying a word. She must have still been surprised from the sudden gesture. I slowly got up from the bed and locked the door. I went to freshen up quickly before heading to where my luggage was. I took out some things from my luggage and started executing my plan. I hope that tonight will end well.

A knock resounded from the door as soon as I finished decorating the place. "Hubby, are you awake? The food's ready."

"I'll be out in a minute. Do you need anything from your luggage?" I replied.

"Please take out the blue envelope from my luggage but please don't open it. Okay? I have to get the food out from the stove. I'll see you in the kitchen." She hastily said.

"Okie Dokie." I answered back and did as I was told. After checking to see if everything was ready. I made my way to the kitchen.

My eyes grew wide at the amount of food that she prepared. There was tteokbokki, kimbap, ramyeon noodles and a grill on the table for the samgyupsal. She actually remembered the things that I liked. Well, I know that she likes them too, but since she prepared it for us, it made me feel special.

"I didn't know you could cook." I gasped.

She smiled wryly. "We just have to see how it tastes first."

We sat down and started chowing down our food. I took a bite out of everything and found out that she really IS a good cook. It was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted in my entire life! Especially since she cooked them. She was smiling happily as she watched me eat. We took our time as we talked about the comebacks and other things. Soon, we almost finished the food as she suggested that we start reading our "Ten Commandments of Love".

After our date days ago, the director told us to list down five things that we want our partner to constantly do for us. Hence, if we add them together, it becomes the "Ten Commandments of Love". Pretty cool, right?

"Ladies first." I gave her a smirk.

She rolled her eyes before she sarcastically replied, "Wow! What a gentleman!"

I snickered. "Whatever. Go ahead."

She cleared her throat. "So… First, I want you to lead me. I'm bad at taking the first step."

I laughed and read to her the first one on my list. "Well, mine says 'I want you to hold my hand first, I would feel really appreciated if the girl makes the first move'. So how are we going to go about this?"

It was the first commandment and yet we were already in a disagreement. She pondered for a while before she spoke. "How about I take the lead when it comes to just holding hands and you do the rest?"

"That's actually a good idea. I'm fine with it." I replied.

She nodded before she continued reading her second commandment. "Please laugh at my jokes no matter how corny they are. I want you on my side when that happens."

"Easy enough. I always laugh at your jokes." I shrugged.

She sighed. "You know that I'm one of the mood-makers of the group. So I tend to do... embarrassing stuff. I hope you won't disown me when the time comes."

"I won't. In fact, I would support and cheer for you." I told her as I leaned on my hand.

"Good. Shall I proceed to the next one?" She asked and I answered with a nod. "You must NEVER put me in favor when we are working together. We must maintain professionalism at work."

I sighed. "Number 3 on my list. I'll treat you like a queen in front of people, especially your members. So you have to take care of me too."

"Well, you can do that in front of my members when we're not doing work. Understand?" She suggested.

I rolled my eyes. "Fine. Okay. Deal."

She giggled. "Next one is... we must eat breakfast together. ALWAYS."

"Second one on my list. Let me sleep peacefully and don't wake me up." I smirked.

She groaned. "I let you sleep a while ago. So why can't we just have breakfast together?"

"It's already dinner time, and sleep is more important." I replied nonchalantly.

She slammed her hand on the table. "But I want us to eat together. It's the most important meal of the day!"

I covered my ears. "Fine! Fine. Let's have breakfast together. But you better let me sleep afterwards."

"Deal." She smirked as she extended her hand and I shook it lazily. "This one… let me cook for you. I love cooking for people that I care about. So I want to cook more for you. Even if it's not delicious."

"Really? That's your number four?" I asked her out of surprise.

She raised a brow at me. "Yeah. Why? Do you want to cook too?"

I chuckled at what she said before I read out loud what I wrote for number four. "Please cook for me. I'm really bad at cooking. Like, really REALLY bad."

We both laughed at the same time. We found out that we had a lot of things in common despite the small arguments that we had. She smiled at me. "So the last one… for me… this is the most important one."

"Shoot." I replied with a smile.

"I'm having trouble sleeping lately because of the inconsistencies of the schedule. So please… sing a lullaby for me until i fall asleep." She shyly told me.

I slowly took her hand. "This is the last thing I wrote. Please allow me to sing for you. Though it looks like I'm taking advantage of my talents to serenade you, I just want you to know that I love to write and sing songs to people I care about."

We both didn't say anything as we sat there contemplating on each other's commandments. I then cleared my throat. "Dahyun-ie… about the other day… I promise to do better in protecting you."

She patted my hand. "Ya, don't worry about it. I was just bothered by what those people said."

"It's exactly why I want to protect you better this time. It broke my heart when I saw you cry that day." I told her honestly.

"Tell you what. Let's do the best we can for each other without expecting anything. I don't want to disappoint you. I also don't want to end up disappointed." She gave me a sad smile.

I played with her fingers. "Alright. Whatever it takes then."

"Whatever it takes." She echoed.

"So… Dahyun-ie. I'll clean up since you did the cooking AND the cleaning earlier. Go to the bedroom and wait for me there." I told her.

"No, it's okay. You probably still lack sleep. I'll catch up when I'm done." She insisted.

I stopped her and caressed her face. "Please? Let me do the dishes? Please…"

She sighed. "Fine. Clean them properly. Let me at least take out the trash."

I saluted which made her giggle. As she made her way outside, I quickly went to the bedroom and made some final preparations. I could hear her shuffle across the living room. "Hubby?"

I didn't respond and as I took something out from my pocket. She then opened the bedroom door and gasped. I smiled at her. "Surprise!"

As if on cue, I played the background music on my phone which was the unreleased song that I sang in Weekly Idol. It was to help set the mood. I slowly approached her and handed her a bouquet of roses. She was starting to tear up. "What's this?"

I chuckled. "Remember when you said that you wanted to get those rings days ago and we couldn't? I barely had enough sleep just thinking about it."

I opened the small box in my hand and slowly knelt in front of her as I watched her cover her mouth with her hand. "Kim Dahyun, I promised a while ago that I would make you happy and protect you. This is me sticking to that promise. You said you wanted us to have something that would tell the world that I'm yours. You have no idea how much I wanted to do that for you. So this is proof of that. So… Kim Dahyun, will you marry me?"

She started sobbing before she nodded and I put the ring on her finger. I slowly stood up before she jumped me with a hug. I could feel that she was genuinely happy. I was too. Both of us looked forward to this marriage. This only made it more legit. Our filming soon ended with me cooing her to sleep in our bedroom. I decided to sleep outside since it was already too late for us to go home. I called up her members and told them about the situation. They told me that they would be the ones to contact their managers.

I checked the bedroom again to see if she was sleeping properly. I went over to her and covered her up properly with the blanket. I went outside to prepare the couch for sleeping. Suddenly, my phone started ringing. "Hello? Dominic-ya? Aren't you guys practicing?"

"JayB-ya… we have a problem." Dominic's breath was shaky

My eyes widened in surprise. "What do you mean? What problem?"

He sighed deeply. "It's Zhang. He's hurt badly."
