She was inhuman. With a few steps, she managed to evade the hail of arrows raining down on her. Four steps. Four goddamn steps were all it took for her to dodge hundreds of arrows. The archers on the castle walls were confused and frankly. They were scared. None of their arrows hit. Not a single one even managed to graze her.
They got the command to Fire, and they did so. Yet again. Another hail of arrows and not one hit. She continued to step forward, with each step getting closer and closer to the castle. Fire. Miss. Fire. Miss. Nothing, absolutely nothing hit her.
The archers panicked, disobeying orders and firing at will. Arrow after arrow fired at her and yet. Nothing. She knew where each arrow would hit, what path it would take, how fast it took to get there. All of this was her power. The power to predict what would happen next. In less than a second, she knew what to do. She knew where to go, how to block, how to dodge. Where to strike and how to do it so that the enemy would be backed into a corner. She always saw three steps ahead and that was terrifying. So no matter what the archers attempted she got closer and closer to the castle gate. Until she was at the doorstep.
She traced her hand along the castle wall, every so often moving left to right to dodge the arrows firing down upon her. She stopped, lifted her hand up and caught an arrow. She planted it down into the ground and started walking back, away from the castle. The archers fired at her back, but as before they all missed. She dodged them with ease, she then disappeared without a trace.
The arrow was forgotten about since it was just a single arrow among many. However that night, a small misstep sent an archer falling down the wall, landing directly on the arrow stuck in the ground, and when he was discovered a small moment when security was let down to investigate she came back, slipped in unnoticed and stole the defense plan they had concocted days earlier. Leading to the castle being overtaken in a single day.
