I packed all my things and my bag before I left the house. I rented an apartment and decided to live there and learn to stand on my own feet.

*beep beep*

I turned around to see who it was. It really drew a smile to my lips when I realized, its my Dad smiling at me.

I stepped come close to him.

"Get inside" I just smiled and sit in the back. I glanced on the view mirror. I see his sadness even if he didn't tell me

"Dad, stop sighing and please dont be sad" I said while still looking on the view mirror

" How? dont give me any reason not to be happy, give me a reason to stop you to separate" he said while his eyes is in the roadway

"Im 18 and I want to be independent Dad, please" I said.

'I want to be with you Dad, Seeing you like that makes me sad but I want to stand on my own, I want to learn a new things alone. I'll be back in our house, but not now' I said in the back of my mind.

He sighed "Okay sweetie, I will visit you every week. Understood?" finally he smiled even its apparently fake.

"Yah. Sure thing" I said

"How's your work?" he glanced at me from the view mirror

"I'll start on monday" I smiled.

He's smiled back and then nodded.

"Goodluck sweetie"

"Thanks"

The car stopped on the side of the road. I immediately step out to see if we're already here in the apartment that I rented.

Yesss. Finally we're here. Its like an old building, at the same time.. creepy.

"Chloe are you serious of this? " He said while looking at the building "Are you blind? This kind of apartment? " As expected, he couldn't believe that I will settle in this kind of charter

"Yes Dad, I already talked the caretaker" I smiled at him, trying to convince him

"Tsk okay, let's go"

I just nodded and walk through the gate. I saw the guard and I think, I caught his attention because he looked at my direction.
