Wang Kai why you let this happen?

Xiao Ni nodded her head unexpectedly, shooting an unrecognizable gaze to the man in the corner. Wang Kai faces ashen, she glares angrily at Xiao Ni. Give her a low warning from afar.

"Hmm, alright I willingly follow you if you could fill in my curiosity." Xiao Ni smiles and stares at the guy who is pointing the gun to her pointedly. Xiao Ni did not give him a room for negotiation, she quickly said what she wanted for them to hear.

"If you failed this mission and your boss command for the good brother to kill you off, to which they will prove their loyalty? To your boss or to your brotherhood?"

This time many of Gu Yi Zhen people were stunned. Without any saying, the would-be loyal to Gu Yi Zhen. Not because they did not care or love their brothers, but because they need to survive.

They knew it from the start, brotherhood is just cover for their group. They are only tools Gu Yi Zhen used to satisfied his need.

Xiao Ni did not waste the opportunity again this time. When she hurt a huge sound of crash and Bang! She kicks the stupid man on his jewel and quickly moves behind Wang Kai's people. Soon there is a chaotic sound in the apartment basement. The shooting parade did not stop for 10 minutes.

Someone give her a gun to protect herself. Xiao Ni is trembling but she manages to hold to the gun properly. Wang Kai has gone to approach Xiao Ni when one for Gu Yi Zhen people heading toward Xiao Ni. Everyone has their own aim but seems to miss this one clever man.

He was near, aim his gun to shot Xiao Ni. Xiao Ni felt terror and try to run away as fast as she could. But her movement is too slow, the man presses the triggered once and hit Xiao Ni's feet.

"AHHH…" She screams in pain.

The man ready to shot her again, this time aiming for a more vital organ. It was easier since she has stopped moving from the pain. Wang Kai who saw this from afar prepared to shot him when he realized there are actually 3 more people has pointed their gun at Xiao Ni.

Without thinking, he shot the first two.

"BANG!"

Two headshots in less than one second. He looks back and everything started to play in slow motion. The man who shot Xiao Ni's feet has pressed his trigger and shows a wide grin all over his face. Xiao Ni was screaming so painfully.

He paused.

"Murder!"

The man pressed a more dangerous weapon than the gun.

"What?! This whole time Gu Yi Zhen hide Wang Ju in a secluded place? Does that mean she did not die?" Mother Guan widens her eyes in bewilderment. She opens her mouth and tried to breathe several times and look at the Wang family disbelievingly.

"That's why you never really chase Gu Yi Zhen right? Because he had your precious daughter all this time." Grandfather Guan looks at grandfather Wang with hurt eyes. He thought they are best friends practically a good brother, but he actually hides such a big secret from him.

Grandfather Wang lower his gaze. This time he really has no face to face this Guan family.

He just rejoices for having his daughter yet, who knows he will lose a granddaughter as the price. But between them, he really couldn't choose.

"Too much! You are all bullying my daughter!" Mother Guan screams and pointed at the Wang family.

Mother Wang quickly took a step closer to console her best friend, but mother Guan stop her with a gesture. Tears streaming down her cheeks.

"You let my daughter think she was a murder when she did not die at all! You are bullying my daughter!" she was almost hysteric.

Father Guan quickly hugs his wife and calm her down. However, he did not say anything to defend the Wang family. Now even the high-quality son-in-law appears to be an eyesore on his eyes. He simply refuses to see them.

"Xiao Ni, Xiao Ni, my Xiao Ni." Grandmother Guan did not have energy left to stand, she weakly stumped to the chair on in front of Xiao Ni's ward and quietly cried for her.

"My pitiful child…"

Guan Xian who stood on the corner all the time finally make his move to help her grandmother. He soothes his grandmother fragile back. "Grandma, Xiao Ni will be alright," he said.

He secretly looks at Wang Kai who looks like he was in his own world. Their family has to turn into chaos and he did not even move from his place. He just sits and bends his body, looking very depressed. Everyone in the ward did look depressed.

"Everyone stops fighting. Xiao Ni wouldn't want to see we turn against each other." he reminded.

Mother Guan look at him with a cold gaze and said to her own son.

"You! How could you let this happen to your own little sister! I! I!" She was the loss of word and only look at Guan Xian with an angry gaze.

Guan Xian sigh.

"Mom, I did everything for Xiao Ni too. All of our lives will always in danger as long as Gu Yi Zhen still alive. But there is no way we could catch him if he still holds our weakness. Now we finally got aunty Wang Ju back, we finally can kill the bastard!"

"I don't care! I don't care whether she is alive or dead! All this time my daughter has to think she is murder to the point of suffering herself. We let them lie to us and torturing my own precious daughter! What a laugh!" She laughs sarcastically.

"She is not dead, my daughter is not murder! Now you guys suddenly want to be all heroic, causing my daughter to suffer once again! By the heaven I swear, if Xiao Ni did not make it, I Guan Qian Si will severe every tie I have with people from the Wang family!" Mother Guan's chest rose and fall quickly, she gives them a sharp gaze before making her final statement.

Mother Wang looked at her pitiful son and best friend, she cried and said. "Qian Si, don't be like this. Xiao Ni will be saved. She has to."

She loves Xiao Ni-like her own daughter too. Moreover, her son, if something happens to Xiao Ni what would happen to his son? That's why she is so anxious from the morning when her father-in-law tells them the 'good news'.

"Why do you care?" Mother Guan replies sharply.

"My daughter has to go through this one more time, what if her condition return to the time where she won't even speak a word to anyone? Huh? could you answer me?"

"Qian Si, Lin Yi, I know our family owes you this time. But Xiao Ni is also our daughter, we never have the slightest intention to hurt her."

Guan Lin Yi scoffed and did not bother to look at Wang Li Jin. "Let's discuss this when my daughter woke up."

Mother Guan did not say anything. All of them fall into a deep silence, praying for good news. Xiao Ni was shot in her legs and arms. It shouldn't be a very bad situations considering none of her vital organs were in danger.

But she pressed the trigger to kill the man that shot her legs.

The bullet must hit the veins because the blood split around that it stains Xiao Ni's face and clothes. He personally heard the man's last world that send Xiao Ni to this critical condition.

"Murder…"

Wang Kai personally witnessing how Xiao Ni's face suddenly changed. From shock, puzzled, loss, a shock to the agonizing pains shows on her face. She must have remembered everything!

He once again makes put her in danger.

Wang Kai why you let this happen?

Why the hell you let this happen to Xiao Ni again! You are an idiot!

He never should command Taylor to watch Aunt Wang Ju's security. To the hell is Gu Yi Zhen wanted to help her captive again.

He shouldn't listen to grandfather Wang again! He should just kill Gu Yi Zhen the moment he has the chance.

Right! Gu Yi Zhen. He hasn't settled all of the things he has done to Xiao Ni, to his family.

Out of nowhere, he stood up and storm off the corridor.

Everybody saw his real condition for the first time. His eyes were bulging out of their socket, it was bloodshot red. His chest panted furiously and veins popping out his forehead and neck. Mother Wang stops him from walk further.

As if he knew what her mother is thinking, Wang Kai gently pushes her mother's hand away.

"My wife is fighting for her life inside. I'll help her fight the man who makes her like this. No one can stop me this time!" Wang Kai slightly looks at grandfather Wang.

Grandfather Wang panicked. "Wang Kai! He has Xu Kun with him! Don't take a stupid action!"

Wang Kai gritted his teeth, it was so tight that mother Wang could hear the sound. He looks at grandfather Wang with an ugly face and said, "I'm sorry grandpa but I'm done listening to you!"

He walked away and never looked back.

Grandpa Wang looks disappointed and worry. However, he did not stop Wang Kai from leaving this place. He knew his grandson might become insane if he didn't vent his anger.

Father Guan looks at his back and then turns his gaze at his own son. He nodded and let Guan Xian go with Wang Kai. Even mother Guan did not say anything although she looks reluctant.

The whole ward is gloomy. It the same dark situations they felt a few years ago.

Grandmother Guan closes her eyes to pray. "Please don't let anything bad happen to my granddaughter..."
