Apparently, everything didn't go along like how Wang Kai wish. The fly he had tried to get rid of keep pestering them and even go as far as become their third wheel.

Han Li silently felt a dilemma when he watches Wang Kai's unhappy face. He was happy watching his boss miserable but sharing the same pain as him.

Han Li has a deep connection with Wang Kai. Being his personal assistant for so many years, how he didn't have a mutual understanding between two of them.

He clearly curses Wang Kai the most when he cruelly broke off the engagement with Xiao Ni, but he also the one who stays beside him when he drunk himself to near death.

Xiao Ni and Xavier were walking steps ahead from them right now, Han Li can only watch their back as they watch. He usually sees Wang Kai's back standing beside Xiao Ni, guarding her.

Wang Kai sits alone on the bench while he watches Xiao Ni choosing a flavor for her waffle across the street. His palm holds tight the wood from the bench.

Han Li notices Wang Kai hurt expression while he watches Xiao Ni and Xavier together. He lowers his head, unsure what to say before he heard Wang Kai ask him first.

"Does she looks happy?" His sudden question threw Han Li a back, moving his head to look at Xiao Ni who is staring at the waffle with bright big eyes, she does look happy.

Still observing Xiao Ni from afar, Han Li gives a comforting answer to Wang Kai. "Miss Xiao Ni is buying food, of course, she will be happy, food is her primary source of happiness."

Wang Kai raised his left eyebrow and look at Han Li, smiling faintly. Han Li suddenly has goosebumps as he widens his eyes. Boss never acts like this a. What sign is this? totally not a good sign.

Worried, Han Li push out the courage he had and utters a question. "Boss, are you sure you will let miss Xiao Ni go just like that?"

You even let other men standing next to Xiao Ni and calmly sitting here.

Wang Kai knuckles were white, not because of the cold weather but because of how hard he tried to stop himself from fleeing there and pull them apart.

But he calmly tells him the story instead, the story of how he chases mother Guan for 7 years before they finally get together. When he was deep on his thought suddenly Xiao Ni has arrived in front of him.

"Give it to you." Xiao Ni handed him the waffle she held with her right hand to him. Wang Kai stares at the waffle with strawberry topping on the top.

"Clearly know I only eat a waffle with maple syrup." Wang Kai complains but takes the waffle anyway. Xiao Ni pretends that she heard nothing, look at Wang Kai with her smile eyes.

"Who told you to eat the strawberry, I order it because I've asked for extra strawberry but the seller is too stingy. The strawberry is for me to eat." Xiao Ni without any permission sit beside Wang Kai.

Wang Kai's mood lifted up and smiles starts to appear on his face. "Pig." he teases her as he watches Xiao Ni take a big bite on her waffle.

Xiao Ni spares a death glare at Wang Kai as she chews her waffle. Her cheeks move in an exciting movement. Wang Kai chuckles and raised his hand to ruffles her head.

But his movement stops when Xavier who bring two waffle from across the road stop in front of Xiao Ni. Xiao Ni has a bright smile when Xavier appears.

Subconsciously, Wang Kai retracts his hand and watches them with an expressionless face. Xavier gives one of the waffles to Han Li and starts to talk something to Xiao Ni.

Wang Kai clearly speaks many languages, but suddenly he didn't understand what are they talking about? Precisely he can't even hear a word coming from Xavier and Xiao Ni.

But the images of how they laugh afterward were too painful to ignore. His hand curled into a fist. Han Li's heart was beating fast, he has a feeling that this Xavier handsome face won't last long.

That pretty face of him might turn into a face full of bruises in any second now. Wang Kai already has that look in his face and fist curled until his knuckles turn white.

Han Li close his eyes when he saw Wang Kai stand up suddenly. His tall and well build body were towering Xiao Ni and Xavier who is still laughing in their conversation.

Han Li was ready to hear a cry from Xavier when he heard Wang Kai's voice instead.

Xiao Ni hasn't completely gather herself when she realized Wang Kai has left from her sight. Xiao Ni lower her eyes and silently eating her waffle.

The moods seem off afterward because Xiao Ni keeps spacing out.

Han Li knows the best that Wang Kai has clear all his schedule to spend the day with Xiao Ni today.

He works through the flight to Italy and immediately tracks Xiao Ni after arriving. Now the poor guy excusing that he has a workload because he can't take any more vinegar. Han Li suddenly felt sorry for Wang Kai.

However, he is no one to talk about their relationship. He also didn't want to blame her goddess so he decided that Xavier is the right target to vent his anger.

He keeps glaring at Xavier all the way through the journey. However, Xavier is just too busy to care about him. The walk passes an old vintage store.

Beautiful crystal trophies caught Xiao Ni's attention. Stopping at the window glasses, she observes the trophy details. Xavier suddenly gave Xiao Ni a little push to get inside the shop.

She remembers she once nag his father to buy her many trophies, so she can brag about it to Ye Na and Bai Jing. She was 9 years old girl at that time.

Grandfather and Grandmother Guan receive one for themselves too, even grandfather Wang gets one of the trophies. There is one prettiest trophy of them, it's crystal clear and has a shape like a star.

It's a beautiful necklace with a crown as it's the pendant. Xiao Ni gasp and wanted to stop Xavier. But that man has finished putting on the necklace on her.

"I, I can't take this." Xiao Ni's face was serious as she turns her body to Xavier. Xavier smiles gently at Xiao Ni and patted her head.

"I buy it because it's pretty, there is no other meaning behind it." He smiles wryly and looks away. Xiao Ni wanted to return it to Xavier but Xavier has walked away too far.

Han Li's face turns dark as he frowns at Xiao Ni. Xiao Ni gives a puzzled look at Han Li.

Wang Kai is not here to show his sour face so he orders Han Li to do it in his place?

Xiao Ni approach Han Li with a threatening look. Han Li didn't move an inch and look at Xiao Ni with his unusual serious look. "What makes you angry?"

Han Li look at Xiao Ni coldly. "Nothing Ms.Guan, don't mind me, this is my face when I work." Even call her Ms.Guan, he is clearly angry with her.

Xiao Ni frowns and pointed her finger at him. "Tell me."

Han Li was firm with her decision to not speak a word. Xiao Ni randomly takes a feather and plan to threaten Han Li with it. "Miss Guan, there is really nothing going on."

Wang Kai didn't walk too far away from the street he went with Xiao Ni. He realized that he didn't have anywhere to go. He randomly buys pigeon food from the street vendor.

He slowly walks to the field filled with pigeons. The pigeons instantly flew away when he approached them. He bends and puts the food on the ground, but the pigeons didn't come to the back.

His movement is stiff, like a robot. There is emptiness on his face as he walks to the closest bench.

"Are you Chinese?" A girl, wearing thick glasses approach him in sudden. Wang Kai looks at her for a second and acts like he didn't hear anything. He speaks at him wearing a C language.

"You are not? Oh no, what to do.." She looks panic as she started to bite her fingernails. Wang Kai was ready to walk away because he felt annoyed.

That girl sits beside Wang Kai and started to cry. Wang Kai becomes everybody the center of attention in a second. Wang Kai frowns and stands up from the seat.

"Use translation application." He said indifferently. That girl looks up to him like he was his savior.

"It's stolen," she sobbed.

Wang Kai sigh and sit back at his initial seat, he reaches for his handphone in his pocket. "Contact someone you know."
