Chapter 36 [The Downfall of the Enemy] (End)

Now at the area of the barrier where Ten had been battling the same golem... Yui was now ready to face against Ten who she lost to in the past...

The members of the Tokyo branch had also already arrived and fighting the nekomata army beside the golem that had survived every single strike that Ten had inflicted toward it.

Thanks to all of the "preparations that she had done Yui now had an advantage, now that she has nine fox tails which made her even more powerful than she already had been when she had five a moment ago.

Her suffering from the lack of mana was now over and dealt...

Ten's chances of winning was now gone along with the chance of retreating as Yui showed up with her nine tails.

The seal on her body also broke when the ritual was started... Allowing her to have all nine of her fox tails.

The ritual was just too powerful for the seal too handle, hence it broke and is now useless.

Her spear also didn't look the way it did before... It was now a spear engulfed in fox flames.

She was now as powerful as her predecessor, Tamamo-no-Mae- if not even more powerful...

"I can't believe you fell for my traps..."

Yui began to laugh mockingly, trying to provoke Ten who had now been exhausted more than she should be.

"Quit Ignoring me! Where are they?!"

Miku who now had similar red markings on her body, exclaimed before continuing her attacks that were aimed at Ten who had been blocking the said attacks.

*Fwooosh!*

Her weapon suddenly catched on fire as the attack quickly reached Ten who was now about to snap at her and attack her.

"Miku! That's enough... I'll take her."

Yui casted a capture spell before giving Ten a chance to speak...

The spell quickly activated-- Quicker than you could imagine...

"I wonder... Could this be all you could do...?" Ten sneared back, falling for Yui's provocation.

The gaze that she gave the now nine-tailed fox was intense- so intense that Yui felt an aura eminate from her oponent.

"Nice try, that trick isn't gonna do anything to me."

Yui had already guessed every single move that Ten could possibly do in her current situation... from her attempting to break free, intimidation, and commanding her army to attack her.

She had now achieved the same checkmate position that she had gotten from a certain enemy that she had faced against before.

She immediatly just casted more capture spells to capture her enemy's allies and quickly sent them to the same containment that Yoshino was now been sent to twice...

And so the plans of Ten were now ruined and her crimes are now over.

The aftermath of this battle was a peaceful one... With the news of Yui being able to defeat Ten, every single immortal that heard about this now started to not only being aware of the law... they started obeying it as well from the fear of Yui going all out on them like she did with the aforementioned nekomata.

Their days were more peaceful than how it already was with the crimes rates of immortals dropping to a low percentage.

Half of Yui's servants had been assigned to patrol at night, while half became part of the security for their headquarters to not only guard her but to tighten the security even more in case one of Ten's followers tried getting back at Yui.

Rika and Aoi were also turned back to normal and were able to be rescued by the Kansai branch, Ten's powers were now ineffective on them- now that her magic couldn't reach both of them due to the anti-magic barrier that was set up around the detainment facility.
