Epilogue

On their wedding day, everyone is too excited. The Reyes household is already busy as early as 4:00 o'clock in the morning, despite the wedding, will be at 10:00 am. While Richard, too is busy preparing himself for the wedding in the hotel.

"Are you ready, son?" Grandpa asked.

"Since seventeen years ago, Dad." He replied, smiling.

"I know, son. I am very happy for you. And my hats off to you for not giving up to your family." Grandpa uttered.

"Dei is worth the wait. We just took a break for two years, Dad. And I guess I made the right decision to give her that space she needed." Richard replied.

"Just make sure to make it work this time. Remember, we don't have divorced here in the Philippines." Grandpa teased.

"I know Dad. That is the reason we choose to get married here in the Philippines. This time, I am not letting the queen leave me again." Richard replied, laughing.

"I believe it will work this time because both of you know how much you love each other. Dwayne's comeback is God's perfect time for you and Dei to finally have a fresh start once again. But please, don't be too strict with Charmaine and Athena. I still want to see my great-grandchildren. And it might not happen if they get married in their forties" Grandpa said.

"I cannot promise, Dad. You just have to stay healthy to see your great-grandchildren because I and certain it having grand children will not happen soonest. You need a long life to see your great-grandchildren because I am firm when I say Charmaine and Athena will only get married at the age of forty." Richard said and Grandpa laughs with him.

Richard's Vow

Dei, first of all I want you to know I am happy and grateful because you are here. You came back to my life, and you are here marrying me. This is my second marriage and God is so good to me that I get to marry twice with the same woman I love the most.

I am the happiest because I am marrying the girl I love most. It was an inexplicable force that brought us together - when I first saw you and saw how wonderful you were, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you.

For seventeen years, your highness, our journey, to have this second chance was difficult. We have been into many challenges, and we were able to pass all those because whether we admit it or not, you and I are stronger if we work together.

Wherever our journey leads us, I will wipe away you tears of sadness to elicit tears of joy. I will shield you from the wind. I will cover you from the rain. I will make my arms your shelter and make a home for us inside my heart.

I promise to walk with you arm in arm, hand in hand. To hold you as your husband and to learn from you, love you, and surprise you, forever. I love you my queen and I vow that I will never stop loving you until the day I die.

Dei's Vow

Richard, this day is the best day of my life. Today I pledge myself to you, my best friend, and my love. I thank the Lord for bringing you into my life.

In those times that I get confused, you did not let go of me in the exact essence of letting go but rather you give me space and let me realize how much you love me without any reservations and what was important for you is my happiness. Your selfless love for me made me stronger and fiercer.

I admit, those days that we were not together were the saddest days of my life. But you patiently wait for me to pick up all those scattered pieces of my past so I could love you wholly and completely unconditionally.

Your highness, always remember I believe in you, in everything that you do and in everything you want to be. I believe in us. I believe in our power as a couple. I believe we are meant to be.

You are the love of my life and always make me the happiest woman on earth. In fact, I am happier now more than I could ever have imagined. I feel blessed to start our second chance together.

Today, as I affirm my love for you. I promise to be there with you in all events of your life, whether it will be good or bad, happy or sad. I will stand by your side. I love you my king and I will love you forever.

After delivering their vows, the priest said. "You may now kiss the bride."

Then Richard and Dei have their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Richard Reyes Jr. again. And they live happily ever after with the princesses and the little prince.
