The end of the first round of the alchemy test

"The first round tests your knowledge of medicinal herbs. But knowing about many medicinal herbs is pointless if you don't know how to put them into practice. In the second section, I shall test your familiarity and knowledge of these medicinal herbs."

"In the second section, you will be presented with three hundred medicinal herbs. But you will not be given just one medicinal herb. Instead, you will be given ten copies of the same medicinal herb."

"The ten copies will be slightly different. They are grown in different locations and for different lengths of time using different techniques and resources. Some of them even have been modified later, all to confuse you."

"All of this means that these ten copies are widely different in quality, potency and value, even though they are of the same herb. Your task in this round is to identify which of the ten copies is the most potent, while retaining the properties of the original herb."
