First days in the academy

Bai Yun spent the next week recovering as well as touring the academy. He went to the library and studied the various facilities and rules of the academy. He also looked into the businesses as well as the factions.

And the more he learned, the more he realised that Ao Tianzi was right. Almost all of the students at the soul step belonged to a faction. As for those at the qi step, they were too weak to start factions, and they weren't yet strong enough to join them. And since there were not many of them compared to those at the soul step, so there was not much need for a faction at that level.

But over the past week, multiple factions offered invitations to Bai Yun. While the others at the qi step might be ignored, someone who reached the tenth floor was a different case altogether. They were all very eager for Bai Yun to join them and offered him various benefits. After all, there was a limit to how many points you could earn when weak.
