After Bai Yun left Emerald Lake City he once again went east. He was easily able to find the horse and continued on to the east.
Bai Yun no longer had any particular destination left. There were no more large cities to the east until he reached an entry point to the plains of enlightenment, where he could take a teleportation portal to the city of scholars.
While Bai Yun the path was sparsely populated, there were still some human population here and there. Bai Yun would stop at a town or village along the way and stay a day or two if possible to check out the nearby areas. But once one passed the Emerald Lake City, none of the places afterwards had anything interesting. The farther one would go east from here, the farther they would be from the centre of the blue moon mountains, and thus the resources and dangers would also fall.
