Chapter 6:Ravendale Academy - The beginning

Kevin let go of Brandon after a while. I never thought a person could gain my trust thought Kevin. "Now I know that you are tired, sooo I'll leave you to it." Brandon said awkwardly towards Kevin as he never thought a day such as this would come. A day where Kevin put down his shield.

"Okay, goodnight... Brandon." Kevin disappeared behind his door after saying those words. "I will never fully understand that kid." muttered Brandon as he looked towards the closed door with a smile.

"Are you ready?" asked Brandon as he drove Kevin to Ravendale Academy. "Well of course, but... is all this... security really necessary?" asked Kevin as he looked towards the 2 police cars and 1 hug black van following them.

"I will admit that this is too much but at least your going to have a big entrance." said Brandon trying to be positive about the situation. "Yeah right, like going to school with the police siren on isn't enough.... and here I thought that I could be low-key." Kevin sighed as the academy came into view.

"Well... all you have to do is avoid activating your battle disc, don't kill, and beside those people in the van are just to search... when getting out... and protect the students.... sooo.." Brandon said all he could think of but no matter how one look at it. The first day of school for Kevin will be a one to remember.

" WHAT THE HELL... don't these people have lives. Why are they crowded at the gate?" Kevin said in shock as he could swear that at lest half the school was in front of the gate." Kevin calm down okay. It's just... some teachers and... students and parents outside. The parents are probably here to make sure their their kids are safe. The teachers probably here to make sure that no student comes near us and the students will... they like things. "said Brandon with a grin knowing Kevin is about to blow.

" Your lucky the van people are jumping out like popcorn and... in union. Do... do the always jump out like that. "Kevin said as he guessed since there was no need for formal behavior they wouldn't be jumping out like their about to go to war. Kevin sighed after looking back and forth from the pretend army officers that was readying there formation before Kevin came out and to the over protective parents and... wait did the crowd get bigger. WTF.

"Well at least they have a nice warm welcome thing set up for me. 3 shooters aim at me 2 shielders and 1 searcher with a massive amount of people that has no life. How wonderful." said Kevin as the formation was finally set up.

"Kevin, I may not be allowed to step out with you but... don't do anything stupid, okay." said Brandon will Kevin claimed out of the car. Kevin just nodded in response as he closed the car door behind him unable to determine if Brandon got his response.

The moment Kevin was out in the open every person tensed up. Waiting to see if he will make a move. Kevin's trained eyes scanned his surroundings in one go. After scanning he noticed two things. First, everyone looked either shocked, scared, or ready to fight. Many look two of those things. Second, only the searcher, a few teachers, I'm counting two students, a probably one of the gunners look relax and unfazed by his presence.

Kevin walked casually to the searcher to get his information on this nightmare and move on with the day. As he approached a teacher stepped forward and walked in the direction of the search as well. "Kevin, it's good to is that your behaving." said the searcher just as both Kevin and the teacher reached her.

"Awww, Chief Sam I didn't know you cared." Kevin said grinning at her. "It's good to see that your humor hasn't changed as well. Anyway, Kevin I like you to meet Grandmaster Brookings. His the head at this school. Grandmaster Brookings this is Kevin." said Chief Sam looking at the grandmaster and staring straight at Kevin.

Kevin looked at Chief Sam and blinked three times when he heard that name. He was ready to make fun of it when Chief Sam stopped him with a daring stare." It's good to meet you... Kevin, right?" said grandmaster Brookings putting out a hand for a handshake.

Is this guy retarded... my name was repeated twice thought Kevin while looking straight at the deep grey eyes of the old timer.

After the handshake. Chief Sam searched Kevin head to toe. "So I guess your ready?" asked Grandmaster Brookings.

I think he is naturally stupid. No I'm just standing here for fun. Kevin crossed his arms in front of his chest.

" Kevin, you can follow Grandmaster Brookings to your home room." Chief Sam quickly stated after noticing the tension in the air. "Officer Yan will be by your side at all times." she added while an gunner walked close to Kevin.

The Grandmaster nodded and walked away with Kevin and Officer Yan following deep into the crowd. " I hope you know what your doing Brandon." said Chief Sam after the crowded decreased rapidly." I do. By doing this Kevin will be strength in his abilities and weaken the force that holds him." said Brandon as he finally revealed himself.
