Shu: "Fuuuhh~"

I've done everything that I think I should do. Doing chores, something that I never did before. I cook some fried rice for me and Haruka. I can't think of other food besides this one cause its ingredients are easy to find and easy to cook. You can just find a ton of recipes on the internet for fried rice.

I eat my lunch, not bad if you think that it's cooked by ten years old boy who never done it before. After finish my lunch I think of some sort of anticipation about the future. Now that the virus is spread all around the world, I need to strengthen myself for the inevitable.

First, I make a to-do list in a sheet of paper. Thirty minutes of workout in the morning and evening. Read at least one hour every day. Practice cooking to make it perfect at least one hour for lunch.

Doing chores to lighten Haruka's burden.

After pondering for a few minutes to find a mistake on it. I place the to-do list on my desk.

Shu: "I did the chores, and cooking. So let's read some book"

I come to Haruka's room and find a random book about a virus on the bookshelf. I bring the book to Haruka's bed and read it. But, after just done it for 20 minutes I slept before I know it.

Shu: "Ouu my god it's 4:00 PM!!, just 20 minutes of reading makes me sleep. I don't understand how others can read a single novel without a break and finish it in a day. Guess I will take it easy, it should be easier to read after a week or so"

I wake up from bed, washing my face and begin to do my workout.

Shu: "Internet says first I need to build up my stamina, I guess running will do the job"

I wear my shoes and go outside to begin jogging at a snail pace in the park near my apartment. After doing it for 15 minutes I realize that even jogging is so hard job to do in my ten years old body.

Shu: " Hah hah haah, fuuuh I need a break"

I take a break for 5 minutes while watching people come to pass by with a happy expression on their face. I wonder, will these people change their expression if they know the situation outside. I doubt it, people only care about themselves. At least that's how I saw the world.

Ten minutes later, I finish my workout and begin my stretching. After thinking that I need to do it every day I almost lose myself. But, when I think about Inori. My will of "D" ignites once again.

I come back to my apartment, take a shower and force myself to read the book again.

Shu: "I hope this time is different"

I read the book in the living room and manage to read it for an hour before sleeping! This Goddam* book is so hard to read, so many foreign terms that I never saw before.

Shu: "Haruka is so late"

It's almost 11 PM and Haruka isn't back yet. I put the book on the shelf and lazing on Haruka's bed while watching video on my phone.

Shu: "Haruka's smells is so relaxing"

I wake up in the next day and found Haruka is missing, I saw a paper on the desk with Haruka's writing on it. She says that she comes back late at night, but, she needs to finish some project. So she just sleeps for a while and goes back to her office. There's also P.S. Mom extremely love Shu's fried rice, Mom also takes it for lunch. Thank you, sweetheart, don't push your self.

Haruka's word lift up my mood for the entire day. I need to work harder for Haruka's sake.

one month later

I keep doing my routine for one month, the differences are clearly visible. Now, I can run straight for 30 minutes without a break and keep increasing my pace regularly. I also challenge my self with harder recipes and upgrade my cooking stats to the next level. Lastly, I can read one book a day without sleeping. Well, I need to find the meaning of some words on the internet. I am a blind man in my previous life, so I never read. But, Ayase always read some book so I can listen to it.

Haruka: "Mmmhmm~, your cooking keeps getting better day by day sweetheart"

Shu: "That's my intention, I want to become good enough to see you smiling every time you eat my food Mom"

Haruka: "Uuuuu~, you're so sweet honey, Mom can't live without you anymore"

Haruka come and hug me so tightly

Shu: "Stop it, I still cooking"

Haruka: "Sweetheart, you don't need to push yourself for Mom sake. It's my duty to make you happy. Why don't you play with your friend just like the others"

Shu: "I know Mom, I just want you to relax when you come home. By the way Mom, I want to learn at school"

After I say it, I see Haruka's expression is change

Haruka: "Are you sure? Mom is happy about it for sure but, if you need more time Mom can understand it"

Shu: "Yes, I 100% sure Mom"

Haruka: "Okay sweetheart, just wait for a while. Mom will find the best school for you"

Shu: "Thank you Mom"

There is also another reason for it. Haruka's bookshelf only contains a book about virus and virus. I want to read another thing. School library is a good place to start it.

Haruka: "It's late! Bye Sweetheart, take care of yourself"

Haruka finishes her breakfast and kisses my cheek before going to her office.

Shu: "Just wait, Mom, I will make you proud of me"

Seven years after I reincarnated

I look at my body in front of the mirror. Definitely a lady killer pack haha.

I change my workout plan to a heavy one after 3 months running. Now I can do 100 push up easily without breaking, Nah I exaggerate it. I don't have a bodybuilder's muscle, but I have enough muscle to look extremely good. I also trying to do martial arts when I 15 years old. I don't have any teacher for it, just find a video on the internet and imitate it.

I can cook almost every single food out there. If there is a status level on my cooking stat it would be 99/100. Also, reading is much easier now. I read every day in my leisure time from a book about knowledge to novel.

I am ready to face the inevitable that will come soon.

I attend tennouzu first high school, I get myself a scholarship because my test score is perfect. I am trying to make Haruka proud, so I am putting an effort to it. Haruka's happy face keep coming to my head when I let her saw my score. I am not a teenager who needs any friend. I have a clear purpose to attend this school. So, I become an introvert.

It's a good thing actually. I can read my book every time, even when the bell is ringing. The teacher just stops asking a question when they realize I can answer it easily. it's so convenient to have a good brain. Also, thanks to my routine to read a book. I can win an argument with a teacher about some specific question, like virus particularly.

For obvious reason, Hare is my friend. She lives on different block at the same apartment. I saw her by chance when I do my workout at the park. The same Hare that died in my previous life. The same Hare that died on my embrace. The same Hare that saves my life. For some reason, I cried unintentionally in front of her. That's the day we become friends in this life. It's also a day I decided to repay her with everything that I got.

Shu: " It's time"

I saw the clock ticking until the time has come. It's the time when I come to the warehouse and encounter Inori inside of it. I walk slowly to the warehouse. I saw the door is open and find her inside. It's so hard to hold my emotion. I almost crying when I look at her face. She is singing EGOIST song. Her voice calms my nerves. Slowly approaching her, I ignore fyuneru who stand in front of me and say.

Shu: "Do you need help?"
