Secrets and Lies! [1]

The place was deserted and it was like haunted,may naririnig siyang alon sa may di kalayuan, 

It's a river! Pakunswelo niya sa sarili.

Ito ang di niya maitindihan sa sarili, She's not scared with anything except three things, Ghost, lightning and thunder.

Nagsimula na syang panayuan ng balahibo, she's really scared of ghost or any horror story, napalingon sya bigla ng makarinig ng kaluskos sa may damuhan she was about to scream when someone grab her and cover her mouth.

"Ssssshhhh!"

Ani Leo sa kanya.

"I already notice them kanina, malamang hindi nila alam na andito tayo!"

"Are you ok?" 

Hindi naman mapigilang tanong ni Sophia sa lalaki, it was a genuine question.

Biglang na lamang napatitig si Leo sa kanya.

Ikaw kaya tamaan ng ganoon kalakas na sipa magiging ok ka kaya? Gusto sana niyang isumbat sa dalaga pero mas pinili niyang manahimik.

"I'm fine!" 

anyang wala sa sariling nahimas ang panga.

"Come. . lets check what they were up to!"

The river bank was too dark that no one will noticed you, it's a perfect place to throws a dead body ng walang nakakalam.

May kataasan din ang mga damo kaya't kailangan pa nilang lumapit sa kinaroroonan ng mga ito.

Maya maya pa may inilabas na malaking garbage bag ang mga lalaki, at it was like a size of human, habang ang isa sa kanila ay nagmamasid sa paligid.

Nang masigurong walang nakakakita sa kanila,they just tossed the body in the water with a stone para hindi ito lumutang.

"It's a human!" 

Sophia hissed, bigla namang napalingon ang mga lalaki na tila nakarinig sa kanyang boses.

"Yes. .and he's alive!" 

Nakita kasi ni Leo ang bahagyang pagkilos nito. When they all gone, nagmamadaling tinalon ni Leo ang ilog.

"Soph, give me a hand!"

Anya at iniabot sa dalaga ang lubid.

"Pulled him up!"  

Sophia pulled it up, may kabigatan na ito dahil sa tubig but the two of them managed to make it out in the water. 

Agad namang binuksan ni Sophia ang garbage bag they both gasped in shocked ng mapagtanto kung ano ang nasa loob.

Babae!

Tama nga ang kutob nilang tao ang laman ng naturang garbage bag.

Sophia was shaken in horror when she flip the body of the victim and recognized her.

Ganoon nalang ang pagkagulat nilang dalawa ng makilala kung sino ang nasa loob.

"Moira!"

Napayakap si Sophia kay Leo ng makita ang ayos ng kamag aral. She was naked at may pasa sa kanyang katawan at sugat sa kanyang ulo.

She must be rape! 

Leo immediately removed his jacket at give it to Sophia with out looking into Moira's body, even if the girl is in that state she had to be respected.

The two of them cried, they have known Moira kahit di nila ito masyadong close. Kahit paman bully ang naturang studyante but still no one deserved to be in that state.

Maya-maya pay nakarinig sila ng paghinto ng sasakyan, Leo went out to check habang naiwan namn ang dalaga.

Sophia was about to stand up ng bigla niyang maramdaman ang malamig na kamay ni Moira.

"She's alive!"

Rain's eyes widened in shocked ng makita si Moira. 

"Moira, what happened to you?" 

Natataranta nitong tanong sa babae ng makita nito ang ayos ni Moira. 

Rain immediately took her and hugged her tightly na ikinabigla nilang dalawa.

"I'm sorry I could not protect you! who did this to you? please wake up!"

Malakas nitong sigaw habang nagtatagis ang mga bagang.

Looking at him makes Sophia cried even more, kahit hindi niya maintindihan kung bakit ganoon nalang ang reaction ni Rain but seeing him in pain makes her heart wrenched.

"She's alive. !" 

Sophia barely said those words pero nakuha agad ni Rain ang ibig sabihin. 

"Let's bring her to the hospital, please!" 

Luhaang pagmamakaawa ni Rain sa kanya.

Sophia shook her head.

"We could not bring her to the hospital, kung sino man ang may gawa nito sa kanya they're determined to kill her!"

"Then what are we going to do just leave her like this?"

Bulyaw ni Rain sa kanya.

"No!" 

Mahinang sabi ni Leo, he knew Sophia was in pain also but seeing Rain reacts that way he realized that Rain had some kind of relationship with Moira.

"They're going to come back here, to check on her. first we have to move her out!" 

"Leo is right and we don't have time, let's go!" 

They took Moira and put her in the car.

Sophia silently drive, pero halos paliparin na niya ang sasakyan sa sobrang bilis. 

Moira cough a couple of times and spit water.

"What the hell just happened?" 

Tiim bagang na tanong ni Rain sa kanila.

"We don't really know what happened, we just saw someone tossing a body in the river and it was our curiousity who save her!" 

Ani Leo. 

It was a total coincidence that they were there and witness it, but thinking about what happened Leo realized it was just too much for coincidence. .

Sophia suddenly hit the brake na ipinagtataka nilang dalawa.

"Something is not right?"

Wala sa sarili sabi ng dalaga. While pondering what happened she just realized something was really off.

The timing. .the place, and the victim but why?

"Except us, who else knew our meeting with that bastard?"

"Ric!" 

Leo and Rain said in chorus.

Sophia massage her forehead, she felt like exploding. What happened was completely out of control. 

It was like everything turns up side down in just a blink of an eye. 

"Everything happened is not a coincidence. think about the perfect timing, the place and the victim, all of it were related to us!" 

"What do you mean?"

Naguguluhang tanong ni Rain.

"What happened is murder, and we are the goddamn suspect!" 

It was a set up to frame them up! 

Sophia dialed Mike's number and informed him the situation they were in.

"Moira must have known a big secret that lead her into this, mishap!" 

Sophia said certainly. 

It must be a secret that could bring her family down and because of it, whoever involve in this case, used her as a sacrificial pawn. 

And the three of them played the most important part of their ploy.

Knowing that she and Moira had some strange relationship plus Catherine sudden disappearance will point everything to her,  and the only person knows about it, is Ric! 

That bastard! Sophia cursed angrily.

If they're not going to twist the situation and find the real culprit, the three of them will most likely become the suspect.

"Whoever did this to her, I'm going to make sure they're going to pay the price!" 

Rain said imperiously. Kung noon gusto lang niya maging simpling tao but after what happened to them, he realized one important factor in life, when you are poor you are nothing. 

Someone will step on you, frame you and you can't even protect your love once.

Atleast when you have money, you can help them somehow! 

That's why he vowed to make himself strong to obtain that kind of influence to protect the one he love.

While looking at Moira's face Rain really felt sorry for her, sana naging mabuti sya rito kahit kunti man lang sana.

Isa pang pinagaalala niya ay kung paano niya sasabihin ang lahat kay Sophia.

"He would surely kick me out!"
