"I'll tell you a little secret Mr. Gonzales!"

"I'm not enterested"

Matigas nitong sagot sa kanya.

"I'm sure magkaka enterest ka dito!"

Pero bago paman niya nasabi sa matanda ang gusto niyang sabihin the door suddenly burst open na ikinagulantang nilang lahat.

"I hope I'm not late!" 

Anunsyo ni Mr. Ybañez na kakarating lamang.

"What's going on here?"

Gulat na gulat na tanong ng matandang Ybañez sa kanilang lahat, nakita niyang nakadiin ang kutsilyo sa leeg ng dean habang ang lima naman ay tila mga istatwa.

"Mr. Chairman. .look this delinquent student, she's trying to kill me when I threatened to expell her. .I should have expelled her right away!"

Mangiyak ngiyak na sumbong nito, pero hindi parin natinag si Sophia mas lalo niyang diniinan ang kutsilyo.

"Oh?" 

Tila amused na tanong ni Mr. Ybañez, before he signalled his men na damputin yong limang lalaki.

"What is the meaning of this?" 

nagtataka namang tanong ng dean.

"You could not even handle a female student like her? What kind of school dean you are, then?"

"This is clearly a miss understanding!" 

depensa nito sa sarili.

"Ofcourse. .I bet she did not tell you who she is, and not mentioning my name is supposed to be saving your damn ass!" 

"What. .what did you say?" 

Anitong napapalunok ng laway sa sobrang takot.

"One. .one of our student been missing and base sa mga studyante, huli nila nakita si Catherine with Ms. Madrigal!"

Depensa nito sa sarili.

"So anong kinalaman ng apo ko sa pagkawala ng studyante, do you even have proof?"

Kampanting tanong ni Mr. Ybañez.

"Ap. .apo?!" 

He gasp in shocked ng marinig ang sinabi ng amo.

"Anong ginawa niya sa'yo?"

"I didn't do anything to her, I swear sir—"

"Shut up!" 

pambabara ni Sophia. 

"Ikaw ba tinanong niya? Seriously. ! you're such a shameless old hug, matanda na walang pinagkatandaan. I had a huge respect with educators, you know why? They're the one been doing the tough job educating students and cleaning mess for someone like you!"

Gigil na gigil na sabi ni Sophia.

"You dare threatened the life of the student who place where you are now? Imagine without this school, without these students! Where were you? You never been here in the first place!"

"So what? Sa tingin mo wala akong ibang trabahong mapapasukan, if I'm not here?"

"You're hopeless!" 

Ani Sophia before he knocked him down.

"Why you're here?" 

Tanong ni Sophia sa abuelo, hindi kasi niya inaasahan ang biglang pagsulpot nito.

"Rain, informed me that someone took you. It just happened that I'm on the way so I drop by!"

"Rain? How did he—"

"It doesn't matter, we just have to removed this trash and place someone else!"

"Who?"

"Mike. .probabaly!" 

Anitong nag iisip.

"I need someone looking after both of you in here, we are rechanneling our men and the council meeting is just around the corner!"

"But why Mike? He needs to be with you, more than us—"

"Haven't I told you Mike has a degree in education?" 

anitong natatawa.

"He could use his talents somewhere else but he choose to stay with us, why is that?"

"Why?" 

Curious niyang tanong.

"People's heart are the most dangerous things of all, that's why we could not trust them but make them trust you, instead!"

Nakangiting pangaral ni Mr. Ybanez sa kanya.

"I'm worried about your safety, I could not think straight knowing someone been hunting you to get me!"

"Be at ease Lo', me and Rain will take extra precaution!"

"But still Mike will stay here."

He said with finality that makes Sophia nods.

"What are we going to do with him?"

"Since he's looking for Catherine will send him to her."

"In the facility?"

Napatango ang matanda. 

"FACILITY" is just a code name, it's like a rehabilitation, the only difference is that when someone is being sent in there, they could no longer return in the mainland as in was located in the Island, in the center of the ocean. 

All criminals that has been given an amnesty or special probation will be sent in there for good. 

One of those people were Catherine, killing minors is always against the code. kaya kahit gaano man nuon ka gustong patayin ni Sophia ang babae, she could not.

That Island has everything, schools from elementary up to university, shopping malls and hospital, so Catherine will continue her studying in there, and was given a new identity.

"Why are we going to send him there instead of killing him?"

"Killing him is way too easy but he's still useful to us and besides, he was Mr. Lim's front man and the one that's been giving him the supply was Catherine, there running a drug cartel and distributed it to the students!"

"How could they do such things?" 

Di makapaniwalang tanong ni Sophia sa abuelo.

"Imagine the hard work their parents did just for the sake of their child and end up being betrayed by someone they trusted? I should've killed this piece of trash!" 

Anyang di mapigilang sipain ang walang malay na matanda.

"I suspected that Mr. Lim has a small time partner, I want you to secretly investigate it, but for now stay low!"

"I already had an idea about it, as Catherine was part in the alliance with the other school!"

"Which school?"

"St. Marry's Senior high school!"

"Oh. .I wouldn't be surprise about it." 

Komento ng kanyang abuelo. 

"This school and that school were used to be a sister school but then I secretly took the ownership of this school and cut all ties with the others, I already heard something like this before pero hindi ko napag tuonan ng pansin as I was busy dealing with the major problem. Hindi ko alam ganito na pala kalala not until you come!"

"I understand that Lo', it's not easy to clean a mess with out a blood price. We all knew this problem is way too complicated lalo na't studyante ang mga involve."

"Yeah. .as they were all minor's. But still this is the time for them to be stop, we all knew everything started from small staff, then it become bigger and bigger to the point we could no longer control them by the time they'll become the biggest headache in the society!" 

Napatango si Sophia sa sinabi ng abuelo. He's right, those delinquents will become drug Lords and most wanted notorious criminal if they won't be stop right now.

"Besides I'm sick dealing with juveniles and the facility won't be enough if we're going to send them all, in there!"

Natatawa nitong sabi sabay tayo.

"Wait Lo' there's someone I want you to take care—"

"Who?" 

nakakunot noo nitong tanong sa kanya.

"It's ok princess, he's being taken cared of!" 

Nakangiting sabi ni Mike sa kanila habang hawak-hawak nito ang usb drive. They already saw the footage malamang alam na nila kung ano ang nangyari.

"Rain, connect all the CCTV's into our main control tower, so lahat ng footage dito it will be directly seen in there!"

Napatango ang matanda.

"By the way Sophia, you and Rain will be staying in the safehouse from now on!"

"Got it!" 

Abot sa taynga niyang ngiti. 

Their safehouse is near the beach may kalayuan nga lang sa kanilang skwelahan but that place is like a paradise for her. 

A place where she could forget her identity for the meantime.
