Lost and Found!

Sophia fold both her arms across her chest as she watched Mike and Rain in combat training.

"Are you scared to break his bone, Mike?"

Di niya mapigilang tanong kay Mike ng makita ang ginagawa ng dalawa.

Mike was restraining his attack while Rain is just dodging it. 

"You're not learning!" 

She said sourly habang papalapit sa mga ito.

"I guess. .I should give you a proper beating!" 

"Let's call it a day!"

"Not yet!"

Pambabara niya sa reklamo ni Rain.

"In an actual, one on one combat, there's no rules, you have to focus—"

"Good defense is considered as good offense!"

hirit ni Rain.

"Not when you're dealing a criminal—you idiot!" 

Aniya at walang pasubaling binigwasan ang mukha ng lalaki.

"Ouch that hurt!"

She followed it with a frontal kick na naiwasan naman ng lalaki.

"Not bad!" 

"Let's stop this, Soph—!"

Sophia run into him, bigla syang yumuko and lift her shoulder up and throw Rain at the back.

"Damn. .aw that's so—arggghh!"

Malakas na sigaw ni Rain ng tumama ang kanyang katawan sa matigas na cemento.

Parang gusto niyang mawalan ng ulirat.

"Now, it's time to wrap up, we have some mess to clean up!"

Anyang napapalakpak at tinawanan ng mahina si Rain.

"How did you train? you can't even beat a girl like me!" 

Iniunat niya ang kamay para alalayan ang lalaki sa pagtayo.

"You call yourself a girl?" 

Rain asked sarcastically.

"If I were that stupid boy, I should stay away from you. !"

Mahina niyang bulong sa sarili.

"Anong sabi mo?"

"Nothing!" 

nakasimangot niyang sagot.

"Where are we going, anyway?"

"Remember, Roberto Lim one of the notorious wanted drug trafficker in the country? He happened to be Catherine's father!" 

"Really?" 

Napamulagat na tanong ni Rain.

"Does Catherine knows about it?"

"Well. .we trace him through Catherine, Imagine dito lang pala nagtatago ang taong matagal ng pinaghahanap ng lahat!" 

Natawa sya ng mahina.

"That bastard ruined the lives of many poor and innocent girls. They kidnapped those poor girls and threatened their lives, saka pwersahang pinapa entertain sa mga parokyanong halang din ang kaluluwa!" 

Sophia grit her teeth.

"He is number one supplier of dope, heroin and ecstasy in asia. They're using an internet flatform to attract foreigners around the world."

"You mean porn site?" 

Sophia nod.

"How did they run their business with out getting caught?" 

curious na tanong ni Rain.

"There's a bastard protecting them in the higher ups, you know how business works with numbers and zeroes? just add some zeroes at the end of numbers, then, feel free to do whatever you want!" 

"Then what we could get—"

Sophia smiled at Rain's naiveness.

"We could get the same zeroes and the end of numbers but it's a clean money. Lets say the government wants us to clean a mess from their own mess and it's a tough job, alam naman nating kaya di nagagalaw ang mga iyan dahil protektado sila!" 

Napatango si Rain.

"So they need an underground organization to settle things and that's what we are, the bigger the fish we take the more zeroes we got next to numbers!"

"So this Mafia thing is all about business!" 

"As I told you, we are not thugs we're business men, an organized crime they said. But you know what's more interesting among these?" 

Pabulong niyang sabi.

"The LAF!" 

"What is that?" 

nakakunot noong tanong ni Rain sa kanya he had a hint na mas delikado ito kesa doon sa nauna niyang sinabi.

"This is where we could hit a jockpot!" 

Excited niyang bulalas. 

"Lost and found items, these item are most valuable, and some of these can be exchange with ten nuclear missiles "

"That mu. .much?"

Napalunok na tanong ni Rain sa kanya, if that item have such values it means it's a life risking job?

"No. .don't think of doing it—I'm out on that!" 

Matigas na pahayag ni Rain.

"Listen first!" 

Sophia hissed. 

"Once we get these items, our client will wire the money through swiss bank right after we send the package!" 

"How are we going to locate that?"

Rain frowned.

"They're going to inform us the location as it is registered under dangerous items all over the world, once the items will appear they're going to contact us!"

"You mean, we're going to travel abroad pag doon ito lilitaw?"

"Bingo!"

Anyang kinindatan ang lalaki.

"What if someone double cross us?" 

"It will be too late for them to realized what were really up to, they're thinking that we're just after the big fishes, nang pasukin natin ang BPD."

Napaisip bigla si Rain pero hindi na sya binigyan ng pagkakataong tumanggi ni Sophia.

"Were going to use the money to help those poor kids, tayo mismo ang magbibigay through direct funds. We all knew how government works in dealing monies, it's always half-half!"

Napatango si Rain. Kaya nga maraming taong naghihirap because of some crocs officials in the government.

"And there's a humor that tears of joy is just here in the country, and you know where?"

"Where?"

"It's just right in our neighbourhood!"

Rain's eyes widened in shock.

"What is tears of joy, anyway?"

"This is the rarest and most expensive diamond in the world. Originaly from india and sent as a tribute to the emperor of china, when the emperor died they buried it along with him but some tomb raiders stolen it, and sell it to russia in exchange of nuclear weapons to supply in arab countries, and it was stolen again by the middle man."

"Why here?"

"Why not? the most dangerous place is the safest place after all!"

Well, this country is like a safe dean of all the criminals in the world who wants to escape from being jailed.

"I'm going to show you the place right after we take down Mr. Lim."

Napatango nalang si Rain sa sinabi ng dalaga, the two of them were discussing something when an unexpected guest arrive.

"Princess?"

Paglingon ni Sophia, her eyes widened in shocked, the one calling her is Mr. Ybañez, her grandfather.

They both froze in shocked, di kasi nila inaasahan ang biglaang pagdating nito.
