Ellie didn't want to think about this--their relationship status--but it had hung in the air like a giant inflatable elephant. Initially after the conversation would have started, she had decided to quit cold turkey. Now that there was no pressing matter, the elephant had inflated until there wasn't much air left in the room. She had considered it quite a bit, so she spoke up. "I did study pre-law for a little bit before my racing career took off so I can offer a perspective. I think if we both want to keep what we got out of this exchange and also untangle the mess before we decide to pursue our next goals."
He wrinkled his eyebrows as he looked at her curiously. "That's very interesting to know that you're more accomplished than I thought previously."
"Do you have your father's old documents in the house? Maybe you could have someone from your office email you a copy of the death wishes?"
