God. What was she thinking? How could she do this to my mate?

With a black mind I just continued to gaze at Rose, she looks so... beautiful.

A few minutes ago the doctor had given her sleeping pills to sleep off any pain. Lying in that bed made her look like an angle, the regular white sheets see to turn to silk when she touches it. The way the evening rays gently caress her skin makes her glow with otherworldly beauty.

I looked left and right. no one there. just this once.

"I still love you Rose. Much more than I have before."

Leaning down, I planted a small kiss on her lips.

*Bang*

The door slammed open.

"What the f*ck are you doing to her?"

Startled I turned to face... her boyfriend

In a split second he was already in front of me tightly squeezing my collar with his left hand. His right clenched up in a first, raised shoulder height.

Just when I thought my face was gonna be smashed. His fist stopped 1cm away from my nose slightly shaking. He's... holding back?

Suddenly I felt the force of being choked as I was flung halfway across the room.

"1pm tomorrow. I'm challenging you to a duel of power possession. If you win, you get partial power over the Miranda pack and your original mate. If I win, leave and never show your face in werewolf territory."

"I know your awake, a few measly sleeping pills won't work on you."

Skye got up from her lying position

"Alright then. what do you want to ask?"

"Why did you let him kiss you?"

"Cause I'm 'weak' remember?"

"Why did you stop me?"

"Are you seriously asking that right now?! I flung him across the room afterwards, right?" She questioned... more like sarcastically stated.

She knew that my punched would not have stopped at him just flying across the room. Was she scared it would hurt him!?

"Skye."

"There's only one guy I love alright? He's strong, handsome, smart, and perfect."

"Hah?! Who the f*ck is that b*stard? Do you seriously still like him?!"

"... okay, remove the smart part... I only love you."
