Base & Future Plans

We arrived back at the hideout the next day, around noon or so

I had calmed down, but still pretty fuming at the old bastard in Konoha

'I hope that paperwork kills him, the dick' I thought almost one too many times

...Almost

Anyway, the Alpha series and the Dragons that I had summoned were still there guarding the place which was a blessing. Apparently a few people had stumbled across this place on scouting runs for Kusa or Taki but had run away as soon as they saw the Dragons or the Giant metal men with drills for hands...

The ones that were a little curious were knocked out and interrogated before being wiped of all memory of the place by an Elder Dragon and then they were sent on their way

It seems Orochimaru is already thinking of betraying Konoha, because I found a few people who worked for him in the Prisons, to which Nanami took them to the Labs because more than a few of them had Unique Bloodlines for her to study

One of them could Camouflage themselves with their nearby surroundings, and have it act like some sort of over the top Henge. The bad thing about that is that it covers the whole body in a cloak of chakra, which the Dragons could easily sense and the Alphas could more than easily capture the man and bring him down into the Prisons

Another one of them had a dojutsu that could see through a single layer of walls, sort of like the Byakugan, but it had a limited distance and couldn't see tenketsu. Nanami took him down to cross study with her Byakugan eyes

Which is another thing - I discovered her supply of Sharingan and Byakugan eyes that she took from the Uchiha and Hyuga. I berated her on how stupid it was to just barge into a clan compound and take out both of their heads, but after I praised her on how many eyes She took - If I or any others lose any eyes we can easily replace them. She has also made a few breakthroughs in evolving the sharingan into its better versions which is great

Speaking of the sharingan, when I was punching trees in my fury after I sucked that ANBUs should out, I unlocked my Susanoo

It was a Green color, sort of like Shisui's Susanoo, and it had the body type of Itachi's

I actually thought that I would never unlock the thing after I got the rinnegan but I guess I was wrong. Though I didn't get the perfect form straight away, I could still form a ribcage with a bit of effort

Right now I was meditating in my room trying to access my mindscape

'Let's see.. Kurama just pulled me in the last time by himself I'm pretty sure...' by now I had been in there trying to access it for a few hours now

I had pretty much tried everything - Humming, lighting incense, trying to sleep..

Nothing worked. That is until I knocked myself out on accident

"Jeez, where the hell did that bowling ball come from? I'm not a coyote..." I muttered, getting up from the grassy terrain I was laying on

I looked around and sure enough we were back in the same forest I met Kurama last time

"Human, you are back" I jumped and turned around to see Kurama looking at me with a raised eyebrow

"Ah, Yeah I needed to speak with you about something.." I trailed off

He huffed "Speak"

"*sigh* I wanted your opinion on where to go next..."

He glared at me "Why the hell would you come to me for that?? You have your so called friends to do that for you..."

I put my hands up in placation "I thought you might have something to say..."

The fox just snorted "Fine, where were you thinking?"

I sighed in relief "I was thinking either Kumo or Kiri..."

The orange monstrosity just raised an eyebrow "Why those two places?"

"Well, I wanted to go to Kiri for their swords, and maybe Isobu and Saiken.. Kumo is a bit more dangerous - With me wanting to grab Gyuki and head to the Island turtle, but with Ay there it's a little bit of a deathtrap.." I elaborated

Kurama harrumphed "Go to Kiri. I don't need some muscle bound idiot capturing you and quite possibly releasing me or stealing your eyes. Plus, I've heard about those swords from my time in Mito, and they sound quite intriguing" I nodded at that, I really didn't want to be captured by Ay either...

"Well really that's all I came here for, so I guess I'll see you later?" I turned and got ready to walk away but-

"Wait, human" Kurama stopped me

I turned back and gave a questioning hum "Tear off a bit of this seal so that I may contact you outside of here. It has been nearly 30 years since I last got to see the outside world, and doing this will allow me at least some freedom in doing so" He lowered his head so that I could touch the seal collar

I just gave a grin and walked up, before tearing off a tiny bit of the seal on the front

"I'll see you later fox" I waved and walked off into the forest

Kurama watched me the whole way "Thank you human..." he muttered before heading back to his nap

~~ Outside Mindscape : Northern Base ~~

I woke up in my bed, a large bowling ball mere 3 feet from me. I glared at the shiny black object before I got up and went to the meeting room

Speaking of, I totally didn't mention the layout of this place, did I?

Well to start off with, it had around 5 floors, with an average of maybe 30-35 rooms per floor

The first floor contained mainly living quarters, Debriefing rooms, the Meeting room, all that Jazz. Most of it was taken up by living space, with the meeting room straight in the middle of the floor

The second had things like our Armory, a little storage space and kitchens. We had some dragons cooking for the rest of the crew (And of course, we banned Nanami from ever stepping foot in any cooking area again), and we also had a Forge that Shinji worked at in his free time

The third was our prison, where we kept everyone who either trespassed too far with Ill intent or where we sent anyone from outside who we didn't like or who Nanami found interesting

The fourth had our Lab, T&I Dept., as well as a high danger recreational facility - which thankfully we hadn't needed to use yet

and the Fifth floor, had our training facility, Secure Storage, and things that were high value (Things like the Secret Scroll of Sealing and the Seven Swords would go in there) Which we have armored to hell and back. The Alphas had to bring metals from their realm that was similar to Rapture over here because we had been running out of the surrounding metals (Which was a lot btw)

I was cut off from my musings by the Meeting room coming out of the corner

I opened the door and everyone was already inside, seated around a large round table

"Alright everyone, the next destination we are headed to is Kiri!" They all looked at me with raised eyebrows "I want the Seven Swords, and maybe their two Tailed Beasts. If we can get our hands on Gangetsu for you Nagato, then that's a huge bonus for us" I explained

They nodded and I continued "I will only be bringing a few people on this mission for subtlety" Most of the kids looked disappointed, but the adults nodded in understanding

Kiri was a dangerous place

"Who are you gong to be bringing?" Nagato asked me curiously

I looked at him "Great question, and that will be answered right now. The people going will be Tobirama, Kushina, Minato, and Nanami"

Yahiko slumped "I wanted to go to Kiri..."

I just sighed "Kiri is dangerous, Yahiko. It's nickname isn't 'The Bloody Mist' for nothing, you know?" I told him. He just slumped even more and nodded

"Why are you bringing those four?" Mito asked me

I turned to Mito "Well, Tobirama is basically in his element in Kiri, I mean - The amount of Water in the air and in the surrounding area? Are you kidding? He's basically a walking tank" I explained and Tobirama just smirked and nodded sagely "Minato will be able to benefit greatly from this - Add onto the fact that I'm going to be teaching him more on the Rasengan and sealing, he'll be fine" Minato snapped his head around and looked at me "Yes, I'm going to teach you the second level" He jumped up and cheered, making me sigh "Kushina will also benefit from this, training her Water release. I also plan to take her to the ruins of Uzushio to see if we can scrounge up anything that Konoha, Kiri, Iwa, or Kumo didn't take" Kushina looked excited at that prospect of visiting Uzu and getting to say goodbye to all of her friends "Nanami" I looked at her "Well, Nanami would kill me if I didn't bring her to study all of the bloodlines there in Kiri" She threw a kunai at me to which I grabbed out of the air "DAMN RIGHT I'D KILL YOU!" I just sighed

Mito looked at me for a few seconds before nodding herself "Good choices, I'll see to it that you're all equipped and ready to go within the next month or so - Until then get some rest, no more training. You need at least a month off from your non-stop training regimen" She told me

I almost made a move to protest but the glare she sent my way was enough to keep me from doing so

I nodded at that and left the room, heading to the kitchens

"Jeez, she can be scary sometimes..." I muttered going down the stairs

"WHAT WAS THAT?" I heard from behind me

My eyes widened and I took off in a run "NOTHING!" I shouted behind me

'Never again...'

I walked to the kitchens to the tune of Kurama's laughter ringing in my ears
