"I don't think an hour of rest would be really hard for us considering the distance we made since we started. Heck, I bet that old woman is still sleeping at the moment due to her aching back." a third hiker said. Despite his confident remark, he too looked like he had been soaked in a rain with his sweat.

Ever since they left the foot of the mountain, they kept on hiking and hiking with barely enough rest. It was not just because they are afraid to lose against the bet, but their pride as a hiker would be greatly affected the moment that old woman and her grandson overtakes them.
