The next day, Chiko was finally cleared to go home. The doctors were incredibly impressed with his incredible recovery ability which would usually take a couple of weeks for other normal patients. 

Shiela, Charlene's grandmother had been wanting to give them a free left-back to Bantayan Island using one of their own private helicopters, but Lala insisted to travel back on their own terms instead. She refuses to get more help from a traitor from her past.

After four hours of bus travel from Cebu City, they reached the Hagnaya port at around 10 am. An hour later, they were already in the middle of the sea on a Roro vessel. They were both seated at the chair closest to the side which allows them to peek at the crashing waves below.

Along the way, Chiko had been asking a lot of questions about his grandma's connection to Charlene's grandma who happens to be the hospital owner, her past career, and why she never spoke about it.
