Setting and Stuff

Hi everyone! It's me Armybebe78 or you can call me Ling as that's the last name in my Chinese name or even Zhen, if you like.

So, a chapter in the auxiliary volume. Alright.

First off, the reason I wanted to make this special chapter was to map out the South Continent where all the Kingdoms I've mentioned in the story are in.

Basically, I envisioned the South Continent having the same and exact shape as the continent Africa itself. Yep, that's right. Mostly because I thought Africa had a cool shape for a continent. Next, South Continent is literally located at the south of the world, its northern edge just below the equator.

Alright, next is the location of the kingdoms.

Myrae is basically a kingdom located at the dead center of South Continent albeit a tad bit more south from the exact center. Does that make sense? No? Yeah, okay. There are barely any mountains or dense forests surrounding this kingdom. It's mostly plains which is why it can get quite hot during the summer but also quite cold during winter season, though it never snows.

ANYWAY.

Ylea is down south of Myrae, almost at the edge of South Continent which is why it snows or has a winter season. It's bordered by a large river to its south just after a quite dense forest, the same forest Vita resides in. Shiro's house was just north of that forest. There are dozens of mountain ranges to its southeast which edges along the wide river. The village Shiro lived in was a rather provincial village in Ylea located in the south.

Now for Goras. The magical kingdom's just northwest of Myrae and is surrounded mostly by forests in the south and desert in the northeast. It only has one city where the castle resides in as well.

Not much there.... for now. Hohoho.

And finally, for the main dish. Volair. It's a kingdom located east of Myrae, like a long way east, to the edge of the continent itself. It has a strong port economy therefore. Instead of forests, it's surrounded by grassy plains in the west with the sea to its east. There are mountains to the north where they... mine, I guess. Hehe.
