Lu Feng's Comforting Words

By the crack of dawn, someone finally arrived at Jiang Yuyan's home—the one she had been desperately waiting for. She lay next to Lu Lijun, holding his hand tightly, unable to sleep even for a moment.

A knock on her bedroom door brought her back to her senses. She stood up and opened the door, immediately throwing herself into the arms of the man standing before her. Hugging him tightly, tears streamed down her face as she spoke in a choked voice against his chest, "Where were you? Why did you take so long, Lu Feng?"

Strong arms wrapped around her in a comforting embrace. "I'm sorry. Calm down first."

She looked up at him with teary eyes. "He's not well. I'm not sure what to do when he wakes up."

"He'll be fine, don't worry. He's strong enough to handle it," Lu Feng assured her, wiping the tears from her cheeks.

"Until he's better, you're not going anywhere. He listens to you," she urged.
