There's hope for people like me

"A human's words..." Huang Qiuyan finds it hard to believe. "Human hearts are flawed. Can a flawed heart love someone like that?"

"Flawed hearts can easily waver, but souls do not waver." Jin walks ahead of her, leading her through the dark corridors. "My ancestors believed that true bond is one way for two souls to find salvation in each other. They also believed that the true bond was only a means for two souls to realize their love for each other. It acts as an intense connection at first, pulling two souls who are meant to be with each other. The true bond is like the umbilical cord between two souls; however, even if there was no true bond between those souls, they would have still met and fallen for each other. In this world, there were many people who loved someone else the same way."

He pauses for a moment and looks at her thoughtfully.
