Chapter 0: Prologue

Helix let in a sharp breath as he gathered himself, his body trembling as he struggled to stand up right. He's already had enough, he didn't want to mess with another upper class. In his condition, he wouldn't even last a full minute.

The girl, her rose gold locks glistening from the single light that hung from the ceiling, gently like a spring breeze pushed him down, eyes locking as she mouthed,

'it's okay... I just wanna help...'.

They say that time is worth far more than anything in this world. That time is money.

Then, how much is a moment worth?

Life on earth was perfect, until the sinful and greedy nature of humans took over their weak minds, exchanging the pure thoughts with desires of materialistic. You "could" have everything, but the word "complete" would not satisfy their needs.

With one turn, the earth turned their backs on the humans that stopped at nothing to fulfill their wants. This left the population in distress as they fought to figure out ways of survival. After all, they do say, survival of the fittest.

They've done everything to get what they want, what can't they do to survive?
