"Someone's Excited!"

Wiping the table off, Mia took the trey full of dirty dishes towards the kitchen.

Yuna was at the counter cleaning the counter.

"Unnie~" Mia called, "From tomorrow I'll take the afternoon shift, so there will be shortage of staff in the morning. The Manager told you that, right?"

"Yes, he already informed me."

"My exams are starting next week. So I better start studying."

"Don't worry girl. We will take care of everything. Your café is in safe hands."

Mia looked at her confused, "Heh?"

"Your boyfriend owns this restaurant. Obviously it's yours!" She whispered and winked at her.

"Stop it!" Mia whispered back. "What if someone will hear you? I'll be doomed!!"

"Oh come one, don't worry…No one's gonna know it…" Yuna said brushing her off.

Little they knew, that one of their colleagues at the sink was trying hard to listen what they were saying.

"Bora!" Hearing Manager's voice calling for her, she put down the plates she was washing and walked outside.

Mia and Yuna saw her as Yuna made a face at her back.

"What's wrong unnie?" Mia asked.

"I don't like that newbie."

"Huh? Bora? Why so?"

"I don't know but she always creep me out with her constant gaze on us. I feel like she's staring at us all the time."

"Oh come on." Mia said. "I don't think so. I think she's fine."

"Well then, you don't notice things around you honey."

Mia shrugged her shoulders, "Well….I don't have time for this. Gotta go out and get the orders."

"Okay. Don't believe me. You won't believe until you see for yourself."

"Yeah yeah…" Saying that Mia walked out.

As she stepped out from the kitchen, she saw Bora coming towards the kitchen. And for her surprise, she was looking at her only. Just like Yuna had told her.

Mia got a little confused but then to make it less obvious, she smiled at Bora.

Rather returning back her smile, Bora narrowed her eyes and turned her head to the other side with a jerk.

That made Mia confused even more, 'Is she really like how unnie was saying?'

Jun along with his three friends entered the café.

Mia saw them coming so she hurriedly went towards them, "Welcome guys!" She gave a bow and then smiled wide.

Everyone briefly bowed and went towards the table she pointed to them.

Jun who was walking the last, waited in front of her and suddenly, before she could understand, he took his hands towards her head and gave a gentle pat, "Good work kiddo!" He said with a teasing tone.

But to his surprise, Mia didn't get mad and smiled even wider, "Happy to see you back!" She said as both of them walked towards the table. "So when did you come?"

"Umm…Around 3 days back..." He said sitting down.

"What?" She hit him on his shoulder. "And you are telling me now?"

"I was caught up in some things. And I thought you might be busy…"

"Busy? For you? Never, you idiot!"

Jun didn't say anything.

"How's Grandma and Nana, you took them home right?"

"Yeah."

As these two were talking the other three were waiting, so they could order.

"Umm, excuse me." Chan Woo interrupted. "I get that you guys are friends and met after a week or so, but can we order, actually we have to go back to practice. Hehe."

"Oh!" Mia felt embarrassed. "I'm so sorry. I forgot." She said and taking their orders she went towards the kitchen.

"You two forget about the whole world around you when you are talking." Dae Won said.

"You like her, don't you?" Chan Woo winked at him.

Jun avoided the conversation and kept looking to the other side.

Mu Yeol came in the middle and said, "Stop it guys…please…"

Chan Woo and Dae Won exchanged glances and shrugged shoulders.

"By the way, guys." Dae Won said. "What do you think, which colour I should dye my hair?"

"Umm…You did red and blonde in last 6 months, right?" Chan Woo asked.

"Yeah."

"I think you should make it hazel this time, it matches with your eyes." Mu Yeol suggested. "What do you think Jun?"

Jun looked at them and just nodded.

"I am really excited for all of us!" Dae Won exclaimed happily. "Finally all of our dreams are going to come true."

"Yeah man!" Chan Woo said. "In next four months, we'll be debuting, performing in front of the live audience. It's gonna be awesome!"

Jun and Mu Yeol smiled as they saw their friends and soon to be team members getting all excited.

"So that means it's party time!" Mia came towards them with a trey in her hand and smile on her face.

"Congratulations to all of you!" She said serving the orders to everyone.

"Thank you!" All said at the same time.

"I also can't wait to see Juna…actually all of you performing on the stage." Mia said.

"You better come to our debut stage then." Mu Yeol said.

"Heck yeah!" She kept a hand on Jun's shoulder. "I can't miss his first stage at any cost."

"So what's the date of contract sign?" She asked looking at everyone.

"Well—"

"Hey Jun!" Someone called and as Jun looked in the direction he saw Ray standing near the counter. He waved at him.

Jun waved back. Ray walked towards them. "Thank god, you both are here together." He said.

"Why? What happened?" Jun asked.

"I just talked with April on the phone." Ray said. "Since I have come back from America I haven't met her, so she was mad at me." He continued as he smiled sheepishly, scratching back of his head. "And she wanted to meet me. And I told her that Mia and Jun are also here."

"…"

".....And we ended up planning a get together!"

"Really?" Mia asked as her eyes gleamed with happiness.

"Yeah! Our whole group, April, So Hee, Ye Rin and Hana along with us, we all are going to meet soon."

"That is awesome!" Mia said. "Isn't it Jun?"

"When is it actually?" Jun asked being a little nervous.

"In next two weeks. Date is not decided yet. Why? You have any problem buddy?" Ray asked looking at his face.

"Yeah well…I'm not sure if I'll be able to come…"

"Why man?" Ray asked.

"…I am kind of busy in all the practice and everything…"

"It's okay Jun." Chan Woo interrupted. "You can go for a day. Ask our manager and go. I don't think any problem will be there."

"Yeah Jun." Ray said. "Just for a day! Like your friend said…..I have a great idea, why don't you three come with us."

"What? No!" Mu Yeol said. "It's your get together. How can we come in the middle like that?"

"It's okay. I am the host and I make the rules. So you guys can totally come!" Ray said.

"Who are you by the way?" Dae Won asked raising an eyebrow.

"Oh! I'm so sorry guys for not introducing. I am Ray, Mia's—"

"BOSS!" Mia literally shouted cutting what Ray was talking.

Everyone looked at her shocked.

The people at the adjacent table turned their heads towards her.

She hurriedly bowed several times apologizing. And turning towards her friends she said, "…Well….He owns this place…So he's my boss."

"Why did you shout like that?" Dae Won asked.

"Yeah Mia." Ray said with a hidden smirk on his face. "And before boss, I am your....….Friend! Aren't I?"

Mia looked at him. The pause in between the sentence literally felt like a punch in the gut to her.

She swallowed, "…Hehe…Yeah yeah…He's my friend…."

The awkward silence was spread. Ray finally broke it, "So are you guys coming?"

All three of them looked at each other and then at Jun.

"Oh come on guys!" Ray said. "Jun and I get bored with all these girls. Imagine five girls and only two guys!"

"Well, you two are probably the luckiest!" Chan Woo said joking.

"It is not my friend, seriously. Believe me." Ray's face darkened a little. "For the beginning you will like it but if they outnumber you, then you are dead. Isn't that true Jun?" Ray asked.

Jun looked up at him and weakly smiled, "That is true…." He said.

"Oh come on, we are not that bad." Mia defended.

"Bad? You guys are horrible!" Ray said jokingly on which everyone else laughed.

Mia pouted and looked at Jun. "At least you say something Junaa…"

He held his hands up, "I don't think so he's telling anything wrong. You five girls literally bullied us two."

She opened her mouth in surprise.

"And it really is a good idea, if these three will come, we will be able to keep you all under control." Jun said and laughed.

"….Wait!" Mia exclaimed. "Does that mean you are coming?"

"…."Jun realized he indirectly said yes.

"Please Jun, after two years we all are getting togeth—"

"Okay. Okay." He agreed before she could complete what she was saying. "We will come."

"Yayyy!!" Mia exclaimed.

Again the people on the next people looked at her annoyed.

She hid her face behind the menu card.

Everyone else laughed at her.

"Excuse me! Excuse me!" Someone called from the back.

Mia turned back.

"Are you going to take our orders or not?" The customer said.

"Oh! I'm so sorry." She bowed and looking at the guys she said, "Gotta go back to work."

And smiling happily she went towards the other table.

Everyone noticed that as she walked towards the kitchen with the order, she was smiling to herself.

"Someone's excited today!" Ray said on which others couldn't help but smile.
