Impending circumstances

School ended, as students began leaving gradually. Giselle tried to evade as quick as possible. She didn't plan on joining Bridgette and her friends to 'whatever' the celebration they had planned. Giselle planned on visiting the restroom but avoided it to escape getting caught. She could reach home and then take care of her business.

Meanwhile, outside the school gate, Bridgette met with Mike and his friends. Carmel and Sara were present too. Ivy has yet to come and Giselle-

Giselle was busy trying to avoid them and escape.

"Alright, this is a perfect chance for you to show your charms."

"Activate those hormones to grab her attention. We'll support you from the sides."

Bridgette gave tips to Mike while he listened to her like a little puppy dog wagging its tail to its owner.

"This is preposterous."

"If he wants to impress her, then let him go alone with her. Why are you dragging us in this? It is not wise, Bridgette. Think over." Carmel voiced out her opinion.

The words hit Mike as he began to sunk mentally.

The guy looked like a fawn unable to stand up for himself and needed someone else to help him. Or at least, Bridgette flipped his switch 180 degrees making him unable to make his own decisions.

One can only say that Bridgette solely took advantage of his vulnerability.

"Don't listen to her. She's nuts. You do what I say, and Giselle will fall for you surely." Bridgette exclaimed.

Her words brought the sulking Mike back to life. His face brightened and sprouted confidence.

'How simple and silly he can be?' - Bridgette's inner self laughed at the thought.

Carmel ignored them on her own.

"Where's Giselle?" Sara asked out of concern.

"Ivy isn't here too," she added looking out for the both.

"Don't worry, they will be here soon," Bridgette snickered.

....

Back at the school:

Giselle looked around to check if the area is clear. She waited near the staff room to avoid any student interactions but is prone to encounter the staff which could lead to suspicion. Giselle had just gotten out of the detention and isn't ready to get another one. She carefully walked out, her eyes scanning the surroundings like an eagle looking for its prey. Well, in case of Giselle it is the opposite as she's desperately trying to run away.

Just as she stepped out of the main entrance, Giselle felt relieved. A sense of achievement hit her as she appeared happy.

'It is still not over, Giselle. Stay focused.'- Giselle braced herself.

She walked with her face down still scanning for intruders. Giselle hasn't been spotted out yet, but soon as a shadow appeared in front sending shivers down her spine.

The person to whom the shadow belonged is Ivy, standing stiff and firm. She then neared Giselle and closed the distance between them. Casually, she put her hand over Giselle's shoulder and trapped her. Giselle whimpered out in pain as the impact coming from Ivy's hands are too powerful for Giselle's weak body.

Giselle hissed, trying her best to remove from Ivy's embrace.

"Calm down, honey you're not given an option here. So shut your ass, and come with us."

"We are celebrating Mike and your newly bonded friendship."

"I don't want to go. I'm busy." Giselle replied struggling her way out of those sharp-nailed fingers causing her pain.

"The hell. It isn't even your treat, and you still ignore us. Don't you remember what would happen if you were to ignore us? Did you forget it already?"

"Don't tell me you forget it and that I have to remind you every single time because it's exhausting and I won't give warning the next time."

These words crashed Giselle. She couldn't argue anymore.

"Honestly, I don't get why you want to leave us. I mean yeah we found out your little secret and threatened you for weeks. But, you should feel happy that we're treating you as one of us. Look at all the perks you get to enjoy just by being with us. The fame, the friends and even a possible boyfriend, if you know what I mean."

Ivy snickered.

Giselle couldn't care but only feel disheartened.

"It's a disease. Now, ignore it and move on. I don't get what you see in that Lillian girl. She's brute, like a beast. She hangs out with her 'so-called' childhood friends. I must say Anna is pretty good but, she hates us. That guy Diego, he's like the watchdog for those two girls. Always following them wherever they go. I don't get their friendship, trust me, I've tried to understand them."

Ivy's words provoked Giselle to clasp back at her for gossiping about Lillian Grey and her friends.

"You don't know anything about Lillian Grey. So, shut up talking like you knew every little thing. And for the record, it's none of your business who I see." Giselle responded harshly.

Ivy is now pissed off from the response.

'How can this mere girl talk back to me?' - Ivy exploded in anger.

She squeezed Giselle so hard that the girl let out a cry and then released. Giselle noticed the bruise from the place Ivy had squeezed; her long devil nails wounded her skin resulting in minor bloodshed.

Ivy sneered.

"Yeah, it is none of my business. Anyways, you are under our control now, so you might want to rephrase the tone you just had with me. I won't let go of it in the future." Ivy spoke.

Her evil eyes pierced into Giselle's soul, threatening her physically and mentally.

Hearing those words terrorized Giselle. She had no options to go against these girls. In the end, Giselle obeyed.

The two walked out together reuniting with the rest.

Ivy gently pushed Giselle towards Mike and signaled to walk with him while she reports the little incident back there to her friend Bridgette.

Bridgette learned the story and promised Ivy to get back on Giselle for her sake. Ivy, still looking like lunatic marched her way with the others.
