Unstable

When Giselle turned around, she saw a reasonably tall lean figure with medium hair length, both the hands up in the air waving.

It took a few seconds for Giselle to identify the woman in front of her. But as soon as she did, a sense of chill went down her spine. Her eyes squinted to land on Lillian's face, specifically on her hazel brown eyes. Giselle noticed the shock on Lillian's face. Unlike Lillian, Giselle kept the reality on a check, for a while.

Her memories rewind, bits and pieces of her past life chasing Lillian, being with her, their time together even though it was short.

The reversed rush of her memories went too fast making Giselle, dive into a load of fear. Soon, she lost her breathing control. She wanted to run away from the place yet still rooted deeply. Her legs failed to obey her mind and chose to believe what's going on inside of her heart.

The same tall figure that stood a little above her head, her brown hair which is now grown a little longer than it used it be, the hazel brown eyes that made her fall in love with Lillian at the first place. It is Lillian Grey indeed standing in front of her.

Images of her past remained when she found herself lost in love once again to the woman standing in front of her, Lillian Grey.

No matter how many times the fate separates them, Giselle will always end up falling in love with Lillian.

Her feelings were real, and it carved into her soul.

Despite the fear overpowering each second, Giselle felt happy. Her past self inside her jumped in joy from meeting Lillian again. For a moment, Giselle thought of approaching Lillian and give her a long tight hug and crying out loud, telling her how much she had missed Lillian in her life and begs for forgiveness when she left Lillian. But her reality pried off the thought.

She knew one way or the other she will be sure to meet Lillian Grey, at some point in her life. However, the reality that she's facing right now is too hard to accept.

Giselle's guilt gave the shivers as her whole body started to tremble a little. There's no one else to notice that this poor lady is losing her strength physically and mentally.

Her brain alarmed her to storm out of the place. The weak legs restrained the remaining power and waited for the signal. Giselle snapped out of her emotional waves. She didn't want to look at Lillian or Shane.

She got her stuff ready and just like that she greeted Shane nonchalantly and took one last look at Lillian, who's still in frozen.

Giselle hesitated, her guilt build-up for once again she's going to abandon Lillian and run away.

Just the thought triggered Giselle as her eyes watered with tears starting to grow, expecting for the moment to pour down her pale cheeks.

'No,' - Giselle thought to herself and walked out the place taking long steps. The moment her head turned away facing the other side, the restricted tears started pouring down like the waterfall.

It never stopped as she desperately tried to shut them down. The falling tears of Giselle reflected the pain in her broken heart. The thought of leaving Lillian back:

Denying the truth,

Denying her heart,

And finally denying own self.

The pain she kept hidden for a long time broke out the walls and made her tear apart. As Giselle kept walking, she whimpered like a child for her tears don't seem to stop when she accepted her true feelings.

This chapter focuses on Giselle's feelings and her point of view. So, make sure to read from her side.
