I will be by your side.

"Wah! What a gentle breeze! It's so smoothing on the skin." Abhinav exclaimed as he was riding the horse.

"Yeah... It's much cooler now than in the morning. If this continues I will become tanned! I hate the sun! Ahh!"

"Even if you become a little dark, it doesn't matter. I'm sure you will look even more beautiful!" Shiv casually ignited his flirting skills.

Ira blushed harder as she heard him say that.

"I suddenly feel like puking..." As he said Abhinav made puking sounds.

"I'm sure there will come a day when I will kill you for good!" Ira balled her fists as she threatened him. While Shiv didn't pay any heed to his words.

"Let's rest for a while now. It's been quite a long time since we started traveling. Let's head to that village over there and find a place to stay for the night." Shiv pointed out at the direction of a small village ahead of them.

"That sounds like a good idea. It's already evening, if we keep up with our phase, we might reach the hidden village by tomorrow noon."

"Hmm"

"I wonder how it went? Did Shiv find Lady Ira? Ahh! Damn it! I'm really worried about his wound! Is he taking his medicine properly? Is he changing his bandages? At this rate I feel like I'm going to be crazy!!" Aditya was literally out of his mind. He was so worried sick about Shiv and Ira that he even lost his sleep.

"Lord Doctor, I am sure everything is going fine. Prince did tell us that he would come back with Lady Ira for sure and I'm sure he is taking care of himself too. Please don't be so worried. We are worried about your health at this rate!" Veer tried to console him with everything he has got. After all if Aditya were to collapse then who will help those poor peasants?

With all due respect Veer and the others are only soldiers who are specialised in fights, they don't know how to cure people. Right at this moment Aditya's presence is so undeniably important. For the past few days, Aditya barely had any rest as he was constantly treating those peasants.

Due to the fire caused by their enemy, the casualties were many.

The kid saved by Shiv, was on a very critical condition. He was barely holding onto his life. His wounds were severe both internally and externally. After all he was just a small, tiny kid! How could he be alright under those dreadful circumstance.

They don't have many medicines with them. Aditya was trying his very best to keep that kid alive.

Veer and the others were roaming around and doing all kinds of odd jobs and a little first-aid that they know to those peasants.

Once Shiv returns and the health of those peasants have been stabilised, they planned to take them to the hidden village.

"We got two rooms. Ira will be using one by herself, while we take the other one. No objections right?"

"Hmm" Shiv was a man of few words. He just doesn't say much.

"Fine by me."

'Even though, he told me that he would be glued by my side, sharing a room with an fully grown man is not a right thing, right? Wait a minute... why in the world I feel a little disappointed? Just what is wrong with me these days?? Ira, Stop thinking!'

Ira looked a little anxious as she was scratching her head.

"Don't be scared. I'm here now. We will be next door. If anything happens just call me. I will come running to your side."

With these words, Ira felt strangely safe and protected. She nodded at Shiv sweetly.

"Now come, let's go. I have paid for the rooms."

"Wow! The bed here is so hard, that my back hurts. I can't complain now, can I? We all are here like this because of me after all." Ira sighed a little as she rolled on her hard bed.

Meanwhile in the boys room, "So how long are you going to hide the fact that you are hurt?"

Shiv didn't bother to answer his question, he simply dragged the bed and tried to take some rest before they had dinner.

"Huh! Ignoring me now, aren't you? Then let me just take a look at your wound directly." Abhinav placed his palm on Shiv's shoulder. Shiv suddenly groaned in pain.

"What? You bastard! Let me take a look at it now."

Abhinav pushed Shiv onto the bed facing his back. He undressed his clothing one by one.

"You freaking bastard! Get off me right now! I am really going to get very mad!" Shiv struggled hard underneath Aditya. Due to his injury and the exhausting travels he grew so weak.

"You can't even push me now. How the hell are you going to protect the girl you love? If you keep this up don't blame me if anything goes wrong! Just shut up and let me treat your wound!"

Abhinav was so aggressive that he won in the end and treated his wounds.

"Just how did you get hurt this much? It looks like fire burns.... What in the world happened??"

"While I and my men were searching for Ira's whereabouts, we were mislead by the kidnappers. They burnt down one whole village just to distract us." Shiv explained him as to what happened.

"But you are not that weak to actually be caught on flames. What happened?"

"A kid was trapped. I tried to save him. That is how this happened... Now enough of your questions... This matter..."

"I got it! I won't tell that airhead about it. Rest assured!"

Shiv simply nodded in agreement.

'Not even a simple word of thanks? Really! These people!!'
