Ragna looks for a sect to mess with

The old man devil was lingering in Baiyi's soul. He who was once named Yao Xuegang, he was once a supreme powerhouse that was not from this little island of a continent that they call the Forgotten lands. Xuegang was from the celestial continent, were cultivators who are at the Transcending Mortality realm are as common as clouds. Those from big Clans have their disciples who are at the age of twelve reach Transcending Mortality realm, but here you were called a genius if your able to reach Transcending Mortality realm before your thirty.

Xuegang also noticed that in this tiny continent, the strongest experts were merely in the Nascent Soul realm. Even the so called Emperor, that Baiyi claims to be the strongest, is supposedly just at the first level of Soul Formation realm.

Xuegeng at his peak was at the first level of the Saint realm. He was two realms above the so called strongest of the Forgotten lands.

In just a few months he was able to go from the Third level of the Spirit Building realm to the first level of the Golden Core realm. Ragna and his group where heading to a city called Phoenix City, based on Elise's information it was the second most famous city in the Archeon Empire because it had three sects. One of those sects was the Burning Flame sect, it was a sect that specialized in blacksmithing.

To get into the Burning Flame sect, one must be able to forge at least one Heroic rank weapon or armor. The rankings of forging are as follows, Mortal, Veteran, Heroic, Legend, Saint, King, and Emperor. It said the sect leader of the Burning Flame sect could forge King rank weapons with a 80% certainty, and Emperor weapons with 10% certainty.

To forge weapons of such calibre a blacksmith should be at least in the middle stages of the Nascent Soul realm, and even then one must have the talent to forge them. It can be said that the sect leader of the Burning Flame sect was the greatest blacksmith of the continent.

The next sect was the Immortal Cauldron sect, this sect is a sect that specializes in alchemy. To enter this sect one must be able to synthesize at least one rank 3 pill. The rankings in synthesizing are as follows, Rank1, Rank2, Rank3, Rank4, Rank5, Rank6, Bronze, Silver, Golden, Spirit, and Saint. Rank1 synthesis are simple things like herbal medicine to cure minor wounds, a Saint rank synthesis could possibly revive the dead or enhance ones cultivation by two realms.

The sect leader of the Immortal Cauldron sect, is said to be one of the top ten beauties of the Archeon Empire, many big clans young masters' have courted the lady but were all unsuccessful. It said the lady sect leader would only allow someone to court her, if he has shown talent better than her's in alchemy.

Many of the young masters hired the best alchemist they could find to represent them, but none had succeeded in wooing the beautiful lady. The lady sect leader's talents in alchemy allow her to make Silver rank pills, and she even has a slight chance to create Golden Rank pills.

The last sect in the city is called the Blazing Phoenix sect, the clan of the city lord is part of this sect. It is also said that the younger Brother of the city lord is the sect leader. The Blazing Phoenix sect, is a sect that focuses on hand to hand combat. This sect is most famous for it powerful fist skills.

The Blazing Phoenix sect is considered as a first tier sect, with the requirement to enter being extremely strict. Those who wish to enter the sect, must have their cultivation measured, one must be at least at the Spirit Building realm before reaching the age of fifteen years old.

The next test is to measure ones affinity to fire Qi. Then the last test is a tournament for the newcomers, with only those in the top 10 may join the sect as its disciples, the rest could become outer disciples but need to reach the Foundation Establishment Realm before they reach twenty years of age. If they are not able to do this, they are kicked out of the sect.

The reason their are three powerful sects in Phoenix city, is because of the abundant Fire Qi surrounding the city. To alchemists, and Blacksmiths the dense Fire Qi surrounding Phoenix City is ideal for forging, and synthesizing.

It is said the reason why there is such and abundant Fire Qi surrounding the city, is because there is a slumbering Phoenix sealed beneath the city. This legend has been going on for centuries, none, not even the oldest living cultivator is able to determine the authenticity of this legend.

When Ragna heard the information regarding the sects he had difficulty choosing which one to go to so that he could finish his mission. While Ragna was contemplating the system gave its own input on the subject.

"Hey partner, no need to think so hard ok... The Burning Flame sect if you conquer them, they might give you a King rank weapon, or better the sect leader might teach you his way of forging, then you can make your own heavenly weapon. The Blazing Phoenix sect on the other hand, doesn't seem like it could offer much, the techniques you can get from me is much better... Still if you wanna learn new things and also be able to check out the Comprehension function I guess you could try conquering this sect. Lastly the Immortal Cauldron sect, this sect has the most to give, if you conquer them. The could teach ways on synthesizing pills to increase one strength or to heal grievous wounds. Not only that, if you conquer this sect you get a +1 in your harem, and its a beauty recognized by the whole empire, isn't that nice partner... Of course as the owner of the Overpowered system their could only be one answer... Right partner."

When Ragna heard the system's own take on the matter with its upbeat voice, Ragna could only smile.
