True Strength Of An Admiral

The admiral looked down at Kizaru, ignoring everyone else.

"Borsalino, you little brat. You left me to get lost by myself again!"

Kizaru looked at his teacher and said helplessly.

"I thought you were right behind me, I only noticed you had disappeared after I arrived."

"You brat, who can keep up with you when you move the speed of light!"

Kizaru put his hands up in defeat as he said.

"Now's not the time to be arguing sensei, we have a very scary enemy before us!"

It was only when Kizaru mentioned that did Admiral Sun Wu remember to take a good look at everyone and everything in the area.

As he finished examining the crime scene and everyone in it, he looked towards Mihawk as he said coolly.

"Dracule Mihawk, till now you and we from the world government have always stayed out of each-others way… Why did you kill not only a Navy Commodore but a World Noble?! Did you really believe that with your trivial strength you could act in a completely lawless manner and get away with it?!"

Mihawk didn't reply to Sun Wu's allegations, instead he just looked at him indifferently with his hand still wrapped round his sword.

Kizaru was the one to set the admiral straight.

"Sensei, Mihawk wasn't the one to kill the World Noble and Commodore Vergo… That was the boy lying unconscious in the building."

When he heard that, Admiral Sun Wu's jaw frowned in disbelief.

"How is that possible?! I can tell that both Saint Jalmack and Vergo were killed by sword intent. That boy is only about 10 years old… How could it be possible for a 10 year old to comprehend Sword Intent. Even Mihawk wasn't able to comprehend Sword Intent till he was 14 and that was recognised as a monstrous feat in and of itself!"

Kizaru shrugged helplessly as he said.

"It's true, that boy really is at the Swordsman Boundary, I've seen him using his Sword Intent personally. Not only is he at the Swordsman Boundary, but he's also a haki user who has eaten the wind logia devil fruit.

He killed Saint Jalmack because Saint Jalmack almost killed his brother.

Ooh and that girl who ate the Blood Fruit, the one called Bloody Rain seems to be pretty close with them, to the point she's willing to put her life on the line to allow them to escape."

Sun Wu frowned with his eyes closed as he asked.

"I take it the traces of the burning aura I sense belong to the brother of that little monster?"

Kizaru shrugged helplessly as he said.

"I thought so, but I can't be sure as anyone who was there for the battle isn't willing to speak about what happened before the little logia arrived. But from what I was able to determine using my senses, that burning aura should belong to the big brother and he should be about the same overall strength as Vergo and his little brother."

Sun Wu still had his eyes closed as he said.

"I can barely feel anything regarding the residual traces of that burning, I can't even sense who it belonged to."

Hearing that, Kizaru couldn't help but mumble to himself.

"I think that's why Admiral's Z and Sengoku keep telling you to spend more time training your Kenbunshoku Haki!"

When he heard that, Sun Wu glared at Kizaru as he raised his staff and swung it down at him!

"Kizaru you little brat! Who's your sensei, those two old codgers or me?!"

The staff phased right through Kizaru and proceeded to crash in to the ground beneath him creating a 50 foot crater.

Kizaru shot into the sky appearing beside Sun Wu as he complained with a straight face that completely contradicted his words.

"Sensei, if you used Haki that strike would've killed me. That kind of strength's not right… Scary, so scary!

And technically Z was my sensei first, before you stole me away."

Sun Wu ignored his disciple's antics as he looked towards Mihawk and questioned his disciple.

"If Mihawk wasn't the one to kill the World Noble, why were the 2 of you going at it? You should remember the orders from HQ, "Don't make an enemy of Dracule Mihawk unless absolutely necessary.""

Kizaru replied with his hands raised.

"He was set on protecting the kids for some reason. If it wasn't for him protecting them, I'd never pick a fight with such a scary man!"

Sun Wu focused his full attention on Mihawk as he asked.

"Why are you protecting those kids?"

Mihawk looked calmly at the Admiral as he replied.

"I appreciate their talent and think it'd be a waste to see them die so young!"

Even though Mihawk was calm on the outside he was worried deeply on the inside.

[I already sent out a distress signal, so I just need to keep them occupied until help arrives.]

Sun Wu didn't reply immediately as he stared deeply into Mihawk's eyes.

"Sigh! You're just as obstinate as your old man!"

When Mihawk heard that, the grip around his sword tightened as he glared at the Admiral! He took a deep breath and forcibly calmed himself down as he looked at Sun Wu.

"What would you know about my father?!"

"I know that if he had just given up on his pride back then and accepted the Navy's offer, your family's massacre could've been avoided! Just like I know that if you would stop protecting these kids, you could leave with your life! But…"

Before he could finish his sentence Mihawk cut him off!

"Those kids will not die today!"

Sun Wu let out an emotional sigh as he said.

"Out of respect for the "Hawk Eyed Archer" I was willing to let you go, but just like your father, you'll die because you stuck your nose where it didn't belong!"

As he said that he raised his staff above his head with it turning black in the process and swung it down with the aim of turning Mihawk into meat paste.

Mihawk forgot about wanting to delay the Navy duo to wait for back up as his anger got the better of him. He swung his sword to meet the incoming staff.

"My father isn't someone a man like you is qualified to talk about!"

As the two attacks collided, the impact was so powerful that the residual waves ended up pushing everyone bar Kizaru back.

The two clashed repeatedly with neither seemingly able to gain an inch over the other.

As Kizaru was watching he couldn't help but be slightly surprised by Mihawk's power.

[I knew he was holding back when we were fighting, but I never thought it was by this much! Still, if this is all he has it's not enough!]

The two separated and Mihawk though able to hold his own was now breathing heavily, whilst Sun Wu was still at ease.

"You really are a genius when it comes to the sword, but a Navy Admiral isn't something you're currently able to fight against. Let me show you the true strength of an Admiral."

As he said that, Sun Wu almost doubled in size as thick silver fur started growing from his skin.

Mihawk looked at the beast like figure and frowned as he felt the man's overbearing aura pressing down on him. Mihawk felt like he was being suffocated by his aura alone!

When Smoker saw the hulking figure of Sun Wu he couldn't help but gape in awe.

[So this is the true strength of the man the Navy refer to as the Monkey King and pirates refer to as the Problem Child of the New World; Admiral Sun Wu!]
