Chapter 18: Cut them down...

"Gisele have your clansman move his body, bring these people to the resting area as well, Charlotte and the rest of you come" I said, looking at the head on the ground and flicking my sword.

Walking back to the village center, I look out at Fox, Charlotte and Trina.

"What the hell happened, he shouldn't have had a chance to even do so, did I not tell you to have him work the pets" I said, in my deep voice.

"It as my fault lord, many have been injured trying to clear the beast, when he helped in saving a few, I thought it might have changed I gave him a chance and after getting trina to agree we let him tag along on the hunt" Trina said, followed up by fox.

"You are not stupid nor blind, what would have happened if he killed or hurt our daughter? Was it not said that the decisions dealing with the ronin would be left to me" I said, sighing and patting Charlottes head.

"Lord, it was our fault completely, we did not think it was of concern to you" Trina said, kowtowing.

"Father..." Charlotte said, looking at one of her mother's put her face in dirt. Nodding I walk up to her and place my hand on her head.

"It is ok my love, do not worry me like that from now on the kage will hunt with the rest and you will stay by my side, I will move to hunt larger pray" I said, lifting her head and looking into her shinning eyes.

"Lord, there..." fox was going to say getting a sharpe look from me.

"There is more love.." Trina said, rubbing my face, trying to stop me from having a out burst.

"Very well what is it, from what I've seen I could put it together" I said, looking at fox's face.

"Before attacking Trina, he killed a warrior Chijō no hitobito, we assume these people were gatherers as we had to kill them, after we took the people who tried to run in case they had a village near by and our guess was right they followed. After a fight we pulled away but a warrior was among them" fox said, looking back at the resting area.

"Where is this person now?" I said, looking at the ground people.

"We took him to the medical house, to be treated his arm was cut off at the joint by Fox" Trina said.

"You kept him alive why mom? Why bring the people here?" Charlotte said, confused.

"During the fighting, my clansman was hit she would not die from that wound but I could not save her and risk the new hunters to be killed" Trina said, hitting the root next to her cracking it.

"All because a ronin, so be it after the boy heals we will take him and his people back to there home, if a agreement can be reached very well if not, I will cut them all down" I said, a sharpe look in my eyes.

"I will join you father?" Charlotte asked, looking up at me.

"No little love your father and us will deal with it.." gisele said walking to our group.

"Mother.." Charlotte tried to protest.

"She is right, you are not ready, your training with the other zealot comes first" I said, pulling her pouting cheeks.

"No more pouting, go join the other zealots I will be there soon" fox said, coming up and rubbing her cheeks.

"Uhhh, ok I will train harder" Charlotte said, running to our home.

Looking over my women my face charged.

"You know better then to fall for these things, if they had been more we would have to slaughter everyone of them before being safe, you must be more careful, do not fail again my loves.....please I can not lose you" I said turning around. Then feeling people press on my back as I see the three women hugging me.

"My love, we were reckless, we know you worry for us and will make sure it will devolve into this kind of situation again" they spoke, leaning down I kissed there foreheads and looking into there eyes.

"Good, there is something i must complete in the ruins, by the time I return make sure the boy and the rest are ok. Feed and well rested, I would like to deal with this problem with out killing them all" I said, walking to our home as they followed.

[time skip - future]

"You know what this means don't you!!" Fox yelling at her clansmen.

"My lady, we can move immediately!" Fox second said, bowing her head.

"No!! He is coming back, you you ahhhhh!" Fox yells at looks over to her sisters as she cry's watching tears and anger in there eyes.

"Find them ! Now!" Gisele yells out to her clan.

"It will be done my ladies!" Each kage says.

"They took our daughter! I will kill all of them!" Trina said, tears in her eyes as she held a bloody hakama that Charlotte wore.

"Do not come back until you find them, lara , raza come!" Fox said, watching the hell hounds, coming up to her sisters and having them smell the house the traders stayed in.

"I want them brought to us fox, I'll kill them for taking her" gisele said but in the next Instant her heart skipped a beat.

"They took, our Charlotte?, who.." a deep voice rang out as the world went silent, they looked up to see my tall figure, with sora circling my leg, my eyes dark seeing the large pool of blood at the place the hakama that Charlotte wore...

"Love, please listen...." the women tried to say.

"Enough, tell me now!"
