Dimond Murders: "Jack is Back"
Be careful how you treat co-workers. They may be obsessed with the history of London in 1888.
A killer is eviscerating CEO's. The MO is reminiscent of Jack the Ripper -- except the victims are not poor, powerless women who eek out a living as prostitutes. These victims are wealthy, powerful men who run prominent companies. Why they have been targeted is a mystery that has the elite of Washington D.C. on edge and wondering who will be next.
A nose for truth, Top Gun swagger, gruff exterior, and Harry Styles eyes - what do you get when your cowboy detective has two X chromosomes and a sassy, Southern accent? Her name is Dimond. (This story is adapted from my TV pilot; please see ABOUT THE FORMATTING in the PROLOGUE).
An example of something included in the Showrunner's Bible is a suggested opening for the TV series: An animated diamond walks on screen. Its little legs are absorbed into the diamond which starts to crackle and pop, then crack open leading to scenes of live action. After the scenes, the fractured diamond spells out the name of the show - Dimond - with an actual diamond that sparkles and forms a dot above the 'i'.
