The Killer's Shadow
{mentions of gore, abuse, and one homophobic slur, be wary}
A girl, Maxine, finds herself in a situation. A very odd situation at that.
Her friend had told her to keep the days on recall, for a person had been pushed pass the edge. A person who uses innocence in their sick game. A person people called a "maniac", a "sociopath". And lastly, a "murder".
The girl will find herself torn between telling the truth or keeping it hidden. Because either could cause Maxine to lose her best friend.
To add to all this. The girl will meet another, Claire, and her friend, but the friend wasn't important to her. Claire, oh winter snow pale Claire, what a beauty you were. She found the other female to be absolutely and beautifully magnificent. She wanted to be with her. Not only as a friend, but as a life partner.
But, there was a problem with that. Claire had been through something terrible. Something quite a lot of people have been through. Heartbreak.
The person Claire had been with was horrible and would dare mistreat such a beautiful soul.
Maxine, didn't know why but this upset her a great deal. She couldn't stand by knowing the person she had fell in love with, was going through something like that.
So when she found where that bastard lived, she wanted to make that person pay. Maxine never did thought what Claire would think of her if she found out she was the criminal even the most quiet people spoke I'll of.
She was going to have her way, no matter what it took. Even if it took a certain someone, or something....
The person Maxine gotten help from, and the person her friend had warned her about, were the same. The criminal. But that person wasn't a different face to the friend. Not even a person either. To her friend's surprise it may not be who they thought it was. But the exact opposite, someone they knew. Someone you never thought to be a killer.
As they say, people aren't always what you thought. And if it wasn't clear, killers always hide in the shadows..
